I came to Dr. Elvine on 09/11/2023, she is amazing! Very experienced and knowledgeable, she's been doing this for years. So outgoing friendly and overall a loving caring Doctor. She took the time to get to know me and understand the origin of this lower back pain I was having. I came in barely able to stand sit or lay down. It was determined to be my SI joint. I have anxiety related to doctors and medical professionals - with respect to chiropractors, this means being nervous about being adjusted and physically manipulated in ways that I can't control - so it's very important to me that any chiropractor that works with me is patient with me, and respects my boundaries. From the start, Dr. Elvine was very patient with me, and respected my boundaries. For example, I'm always nervous about getting my neck adjusted, and when I talked to Dr. Elvine about my anxiety about getting my neck adjusted, she suggested that we start with small adjustments that wouldn't trigger my anxiety, and that we could slowly build up to more significant adjustments when I felt comfortable, which allowed me to build up trust over time. My life and job consists of a lot of heavy lifting (unwillingly), and with that comes a lot of wear and tear on my body; especially my spine and back. In a span of 3 months, I've gone to Christine and Linda twice with such a pain in my back that I could barely get myself into the car and to the clinic. And each time after they're done working the magic, I somehow walk out of there feeling pretty good with a full recovery in the following days. Today was my third visit, and again they delivered. I'm not one to write reviews because of my busy schedule, but I really think Elvine Chiropractic deserves it. The people are always very hospitable and the service has been excellent. I've been to other chiropractors in the past with pretty good results, but I will only go to Elvine Chiro from now on...unless we decide to populate Mars. Oh, and besides her chiropractic skills, Christine always gives me great advice on how to strengthen and maintain my back, which I must say is really working. What an amazing Chiropractor! Not only does Dr. Christine Elvine have great bed side manners, she educates you why your back went out to begin with. I first went to her in 2007 when I had a pinched sciatic nerve she was able to help me with therapy including chiropractic sessions. 2012 I pulled my back yet again and Dr. Christine was able to see me first thing the next morning. I went through 4 sessions and the pain was 95% gone. Not only did she do an adjustment on my husband (he was a virgin to chiropractic adjustments) he became a believer in getting his back re-aligned at least twice per year. I were involved in a car accident back in 2010. I went to physical therapy for 3 months; I weren't the same anymore after that, meaning I suffered legs, back & right hip pain so debilitating that I couldn't walk. My doctor kept sending me physical therapy inspite it's not resolving my issues. Had x-Ray & electrical conduction tests done, all negative. He even said my back is skewed, so I asked for chiropractor referral but was denied. I finally went to see Dr. Elvine; I couldn't hardly walk, my left leg feels numb, right hip was extremely painful to walk, to sit, to stand before I saw her. Praise The Lord for her, pain is less than I could imagine, I slept without pain medication, and I can walk again without difficulty.
