When I called to let them know I would be arriving less than 10 minutes late, they refused to see me and wanted to reschedule for a different date. Wow. I have seen the chiropractor here several times and he is very kind and helpful. However, I have rarely experienced such terrible front desk service. This is not the first time I've walked into this office to a quite unpleasant front desk associate. The receptionist didn't even look up when we walked in. When I asked if they offered a certain type of adjustment, she still didn't look up from her computer and then cut me off mid sentence - without hearing me out in the first place or looking up even once to greet us or acknowledge she was listening. I've been seeing Dr. Chris since July 2021, first weekly, now every two weeks. I initially decided to try chiropractic therapy back in July 2021 to help recurring lower back pain that resulted from a back spasm injury in 2016. I had always been a little skeptical/afraid of seeing a chiropractor in the past, but now I realize that was unnecessary because it's not scary nor painful at all! Before giving the chiropractor a try, other doctors had prescribed me mild back pain medication and I used to get acupuncture. The acupuncture helped for a little while, but just wasn't cutting it. The medications didn't help the back pain much, and I don't like taking medications (they make me sleepy). Dr. Chris's chiropractic adjustments have tempered any flare-ups (mainly as a result of sitting for long periods of time working) so they are much more manageable, and my back feels better and improved in general. The chiropractic adjustment part is quite relaxing and feels nice - like a mini massage and stretching where it's needed. I imagine other chiropractors could practice differently, so I definitely recommend giving Unwind a try because Dr. Chris is great! He's also very friendly, so the overall experience is very pleasant :) read more

I have been going to see Dr. Chris since he opened up Unwind. He is very attentive to your needs and makes sure to check in with me before making any adjustments. Prior to coming here I had tried a few different offices and usually, I felt like I was just being pushed through and not really cared for. I got diagnosed via MRI at Kaiser with 2 mild circumferential bulging discs, a dehydrated disc and a tear. I have never experienced not being able to move due to inner lower back pain in my life. After going to unwind my back was fixed in about 3 weeks. The doctor also educated me and he also preps your muscles before he does his adjustments. Unethical practice, Discrimination. Dr Chris is good at covering his racist attitude. I disclosed I'm from China, and he asked me if I know anyone making Nike shoes in China. And he arrogantly made fun of how products made in China have poor quality, are fake and violating copy rights. I highly recommend Dr. Chris. I was first introduced to his practice from my brother in law when I had been suffering from shoulder pain from training Brazilian jiujitsu.
