She was personable, down-to-earth, took the time to show us things that we needed to be mindful of in considering purchasing a home, and was patient with our decisions - even when we flip-flopped. Karen's knowledge of San Antonio's neighborhoods and the fact that she always took the time to educate herself in advance of showings meant that she was able to provide us with invaluable insights. All of this went toward making sure that we wound up in the home that was right for us. We are so thankful for this! Karen trusted us to make the right decision, and took her time to work on our behalf. She was fast, precise, and an absolute pleasure to work with. On top of this, she had an intimate understanding of the VA's lending requirements, which was incredibly important to us. At every step, we knew that Karen McManuis was acting in our best interests. If we buy another home in the future, I hope Karen is available to help us out. We'll be sending business her way. Thank you, Karen!

We started our journey with Terry of building a home 14 months ago and his commitment to my family and I never wavered once and is actually stronger today than the first day he became our realtor. Terry was with us for EVERY appointment form signing contract, designing our home, picking out accessories (side note: Fellas if you need a teammate to help balance your spouse with picking items for your home call Terry now. He helped me keep my wife from going crazy with upgrades and at the same time helped us build a beautiful home with everything we really wanted) He went to numerous appointments with the builder Including every walk-through. He meet me at the house countless times to check the construction work and when things went wrong Terry was in immediately communication with the construction manager and sales representatives. He even worked with our mortgage broker to ensure everything was ready for closing. Not once did Terry offer guidance that was not in the best interest of my family and I, even though it never benefited him. Terry was always available for us no matter the time or day. He's always honest and forthright, no games! If you think you don't need a realtor because you're building a new home you're making a mistake! I could continue this review for pages.  Bottom line Terry is the realtor that you want by your side for all of your real estate needs. Terry is not just our realtor he has become our friend, there will never be a need for us to look for another realtor.

We appreciated her direct, no-nonsense approach. Over the ensuing 3 months, she impressed us time and again with her work ethic, professionalism, honesty, efficiency, and communication skills. She helped us get the fastest sale possible while getting a fair price for our home. Within 20 days, we were under contract. From there on out, despite dealing with an extremely challenging buyer whose agent works for the same company, she advocated on our behalf and displayed unparalleled ethics. She made it clear that she was OUR agent. On moving day, she was at our house helping us pack and paint to ensure a smooth handoff to the buyer the following day. After 26 years and 7 moves in the Air Force, Monica was by far the best real estate agent we've ever had. Without hesitation, we recommend her.

We were referred to Linda Cantu via USAA to help us look for and buy a home in San Antonio…read more She seemed to be genuine and on top of things. We received many homes via email to review before arriving in San Antonio. We had contacted Linda to let her know our schedule of when we would be in town and I must say I felt a lot of time was wasted. The first day she showed us one home, said she had an appointment in which we stated we could reconvene afterwards unto which she thought it would be best to give us the rest of the day to ourselves - even though we were ONLY there to look at homes for a few days. The next day, we looked at a few more and was able to get a better feel for what we were looking for. She was very helpful in pointing out pros and cons in each home and allowed us time to get a feel for the neighborhoods as well. On our last day, we were now a bit rushed. We saw a few preowned homes that we really liked in which she was quick to point out the cons... we then arrived at a new build that she eagerly talked us into. After being careful to keep us in the below our budget this last home matched our budget and did not meet MANY of the requirements she had helped us form the previous day. I do feel like she used the fact that this was our first time buying to her advantage. I believe she just played the game well. She was great at her job but not for us. I do wish we would have had someone who genuinely had our best interest at heart and not just their pockets. She did come off as very sweet and genuine making it so easy to trust her but at the end... that's just the nature of the game. So to anyone out there using this company..... please please please be sure to do ALL of your homework and stick with what YOU like - not what someone may try to talk you into. That is all.

Do not use this company!! Terrible customer service, no accountability and only after your money…read more MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING THEY SAY TO YOU IN WRITING OR RECORD IT!! We were just blindsided with a bill we were told by a customer service representative that WE DID NOT OWE! Good luck getting a hold of anyone, they will avoid your phone calls if you have an issue they don't want to deal with! And when you finally do get someone and ask to speak to escalate your issue they tell you that there is no one higher to speak with! From the very beginning, MHN tried to make me store a washer/drier that wasn't mine even though they claimed they had no problem removing before signing paperwork, but then changed their mind. I threatened to walk away from the lease if they didn't removed the units, which they finally agreed. Should have walked at that point.   About 7 months in our lease, we get a dog and I filled out the MHN online application process. I submitted it and never heard anything more about it. Months later MHN emails me that I am either going to be paying a hefty fine or I will be getting rid of my dog since I haven't notified them properly. Once again, I call up and speak with someone about their online application process where I clearly did it LONG ago and they said "oh, I see. Yea I guess we don't check this at all." They then waive the hefty fee and only had me pay the pet deposit amount and add on a pet fee for each month following.   After living in the rental for 3 years, we bought a home and went through the move out process. We got our final bill where they cleaned the house and got it ready for its next tenants and the amount is much higher than I was anticipating so I call to dispute it. The person on the phone tells me that I don't need to worry about the fee amount right now because they will be filing a claim under my name with the deposit insurance company I have been paying towards for the past 3 years and that that was the whole point of that recurring charge. Come the following January, I receive a notice in the mail that I am now going into collections with the deposit insurance company for non-payment of almost $2k. I then send off my verification of debt letter so they can stop the collections process for the time being while I sort this whole thing out. Then early February, I contact the representative who told me that I didn't need to worry about the 2K and find out he no longer works for MHN but reassured me it was their policy that I shouldn't have to pay it and that I should reach out to MHN.   So, ONCE AGAIN, I call MHN to speak with someone about this issue and the representative then informs me the employee who originally instructed me not to pay was actually fired for this type of false information. They also tell me that they cannot help me further and I'd have wait for a call back from the person who handles these claims.....no one called me. I call on Monday, 6 TIMES!! still get no answer. I leave a voicemail then submit a "Contact Us" message from their own website telling them to call me. Instead they sent an email. It was obvious they were ignoring my calls. I respond back that someone needs to reach out and only then did someone call me back. I was told this was all my responsibility and completely ignored and refused to acknowledge their own employee's mistake putting us into collections and negatively affecting my PERFECT CREDIT! The manager's response to this is "if you didn't get any of it in writing we can't help you." They also stated that this person who gave me the bad information was never actually fired, he left on his own. How convenient is that?   No accountability and refusal to do the right moral thing purely because I do not have what was claimed in writing. No care for their clients! Pure greed and mismanagement!! Thanks for leaving me with a collections bill that is accruing interest each and every day and I could have probably handled in October.

The house has been pretty good overall and a decent value for the neighborhood. But the Maintenance Folks are absolutely the worst, with the worst customer service if you ever have any issues. They are rude, which is really the worst thing about them and they are in the least bit helpful. They are good at finding the least experienced and cheapest person to do a job if that is what you are looking for as a landlord, but as a tenant who pays on time and in full every month I expect things to get fixed and looked into a lot faster than these guys do.

I am finally free of my lease, so I feel secure in writing this review. Please consider literally…read moreany other rental option besides renting through RentWerx. I rented through RentWerx from May of 2024 up until last month and I could not be happier to be rid of them. To start, my former rental property was never shown to me or my roommate, neither on the initial tour nor following the lease signing, and this was advertised as a "lockbox move-in" as part of the $45/month benefits package you were not allowed to decline and are automatically enrolled for upon starting your lease. The only RentWerx staff I came into contact with for the entirety of my time in my former rental home was a gentleman who took photos of the condition of the home halfway through the second term of my lease (which I am not even sure if he was subcontracted by RentWerx or not). Furthermore, the renewal lease was prepared incorrectly, and I was scalded by staff over email because I actually read through the agreement and called out said errors. For the full two-year lease, a lockbox was required to stay fashioned to the front door handle, unless I wanted to put down an additional $2K on top of the $2K security deposit which I could not afford. I did not mind the lockbox but upon moving out, I was charged an additional $25 for leaving my keys in the lockbox that I was required to keep on my door. If you do (unfortunately) choose RentWerx as your property rental agency, pay attention to added fees as they will try EVERYTHING to make you pay more. I requested proof of residence as I applied for my new rental home both over the phone and online and was met with two different responses from two different RentWerx agents. The agent I spoke to over the phone sent proof of residency no problem while the other I had contacted online tried to charge a $45 processing fee... Poor communication, shady work practices, all-in-all would not recommend. Please field ALL other options before chosing RentWerx!
