I first reached out to Skip to plan our honeymoon in 2018. I had never used a travel adviser before…read morebut I was worn out with planning a wedding so I left it in the hands of Skip- & it would't have it any other way. He is easy and accommodating to work with regarding travel. My Honeymoon had adventure and luxury as we had explained we wanted. We did Amsterdam, Rome, and Santorini. All locations had travel, car services (seriously amazing) and activities planned for us. The great thing is that when you see something you want changed- he does it in a heartbeat and keeps constant communication with you when/if there are any changes. We came back with lots of great experiences, & all within budget. Fast Forward to this year, we were in the midst of planning a second vacation across the pond and I didn't even think twice about it- I knew who I would call- Skip, Yet another great vacation- this time we simply wanted luxury and relaxation and that is what we got in the Almafi Coast + Mykonos. He planned it just right- as expected :)

If you read nothing else I write, read this. Hiring a travel agent is FREE! No scams or gimmicks or…read moreupgrades. Why wouldn't you at the very least call and speak to one. Having a travel agent isn't just a luxury. It's the smartest thing you can do for yourself and your trip. My personal experience: Skip helped us put together a FABULOUS dream vacation to Italy for our 10 year anniversary. From the first phone call to start planning to the day we got home everything went smoothly. He was always quick to respond, personal and worked with the budget we gave him. I'm a wedding and event planner so I'm a very detailed person and used to planning our small family trips but there are so many things to consider for your first international flight. Getting our passports, knowing which airports to fly in and out of, how long of a layover is enough time, how to travel between cities, setting up tours in a city where you don't speak the language, what to do when you're there. Skip sat down with us before we left to go over our itinerary and each activity along the way. Could I have planned this trip by myself? Maybe. But knowing the ins and outs of traveling is what he is an expert in and he can save you time and so much stress along the way. For example: Passports: We were going to just go to the post office to get our passport. When I told Skip our plan he stopped me and suggested a few passport services. As he pointed out, the post office is a government agency. Enough said. They can move slow. They can lose mail. Maybe it's not common but do you really want to take the chance of a single delay and you missing your trip? We took our applications to one of the recommended offices and they immediately caught an error on our form. Had we taken it to the post office, they would have never noticed the error and our application would have been returned and delayed getting our passport. Traveling: When I questioned the long layover there and back Skip advised me that I would need the time to get through customs. Boy was he right! We were never rushed but had it been up to me and I had moved the flights to what I thought were best, we would have missed our flights. Experienced travel agents know what to expect, are familiar with different airports and airlines. Have you ever booked a flight or hotel with an online discount company only to have an issue arise? You are at the mercy of someone on the other end of the line after waiting to get through to customer service and that doesn't guarantee the issue is resolved. $$$ and time wasted. Once we were in Italy, Skip had arranged for concierge services from the moment we grabbed our luggage. We had private drivers and even a private boat that took us from the airport to our hotel. No waiting in line for taxis. No fumbling for directions. We were treated like VIPs from the minute we touched down in Italy until we left. Skip arranged for private tours for the sights we most wanted to see. We avoided lines that wrapped around the block just to get in and were escorted through each area with an informative tour guide. Made the experience so much nicer and allowed us to have the rest of the day to do what we wanted. We visited three cities in total and used the train to travel between them. Skip had an agent waiting for us at the hotel each time who not only got us to the train station but also walked us through the station to our seat so we knew exactly what to do and how to travel. Then when we got off the train our driver was waiting for us to take us to the next hotel. Could you figure it out on your own? Possibly. But again, why have that added stress if you don't speak the language or understand what to do. While on one of our train rides, we watched a young girl get on only to later argue with the conductor, cry and ultimately have to move because of an issue with her ticket. Misunderstandings happen. But a travel agent knows how to guide you through all of that. Our second stop could have been a disaster when we got out of our car and went to check-in to the hotel. Only after having been there for about 5 minutes we realized we had left a bag in the car that had just dropped us off. The bag had all our electronics and most importantly, our passports. I calmly reached into the suitcase and pulled out the 2nd copy of our itinerary Skip had put together for us before we left. I called the number for the car service and within minutes they returned with our bag untouched. That small lapse in judgment could have been a nightmare had we taken a city taxi. We saw some of the most amazing pieces of history, immersed ourselves in the culture, ate some of the best foods and had such a relaxing experience the whole time. Truly it was a dream vacation and one we will never forget and we have Skip to think for that. I have no reservations in recommending him to my clients and brides and using him for every trip in the future!

After a Zoom call with her, Kimberly got to work planning a week of winery tours, historic hotel stays, and must-not-miss tourist attractions. I admit: I am not a person who uses travel agents on a regular basis, but when I learned that she lives in the area, I trusted her to plan our trip. We stayed in contact for months, going back & forth on email & text about preferences in the recommended numerous stops along the way, and when all was said & done, we had the trip of a lifetime planned. In the end, our stay in the Hill Country exceeded even the highest of expectations. A couple things to note, that were very much appreciated: 1) The personalization she put into the planning process. Kimberly asked our musical tastes, our food preferences, hotel preferences, etc. We stayed in boutique hotels, mostly, and Kimberly was very helpful in picking locations she felt we would like; she nailed it. 2) Her local knowledge. Kimberly hooked us up with a driver for a day of vineyard / winery tours - someone she has used before. Michael was an outstanding guide for us, and provided some of his own local-knowledge about good places to go and things to see that we otherwise may not have known about. He even stated that Kimberly had contacted him the morning of our tours to make sure everything was lined-up. How's that for service? If you are considering using an agent to plan a personalized trip, I highly recommend Kimberly at Travel Two Luxury. I am certainly going to recommend her to friends. Her personalization and attention-to-detail are extraordinarily appreciated and beyond compare!

She goes above & beyond in taking care of our family during all of our adventures and honestly we cannot recommend her enough!!

Do NOT sign the contract, unless you want to do the work yourself!…read moreI hired Natalie to organize my wedding in Punta Cana, DR and I chose her over other travel agents because she sells herself very well. Many promises were made during the interview, most delivered with attitude and only after demanding them. Issues: 1. She's very nice and proactive when it comes to charge you for everything in advance, once you submit your payment you will barely hear from her and Natalie acts as she's being bothered every time you contact her. 2. My fiancé's best man emailed and called her way in advance and she never responded. Forcing him to make his own reservations. 3. When I asked her about our website and distributing this to our guests, she told me that I had to send it to all my guests. I then questioned her asking if that wasn't her job since she's the one getting paid for this and she had the nerve to call me "rude" when all I was asking her is to do her job and make money off my guests and myself. 4. On repeated occasions she told me that "I wasn't her only client", and you will receive this treatment from Natalie when you demand her to stick with what she promises. I truly believe being a TA is no longer her passion, you can tell she's no longer good at it. 5. I have had at least 5 families in my wedding party reporting that Natalie was rude to them when they asked questions and she was impatient with them. They had to make their own accommodations because of this without using Natalie, which let me to not have the minimum required number of guests (due to Natalie's incompetence and lack of empathy), the hotel was willing to work with me, after noticing how unhappy I was with Natalie as my travel agent. 6. Even my wedding coordinator noticed Natalie's lack of attention and coordination as her emails are disorganized. She forgets what information she was given and then asks you to find the information for her. Again, I ended up doing majority of her tasks. 7. She will promise an app to be delivered 2 weeks before departure. She breached her own contract and posted this app 2 days before departure with MANY mistakes that I had to point out for her to fix. 8. I tried to break the contract with her on a couple of occasions and after consulting with the hotel in the DR, I was going to punish my guests in order to get rid of Natalie, which in good faith, it's the only reason that prevented me from doing so. 9. I guarantee that you will have to triple check EVERYTHING that Natalie does because in every single task, there were mistakes. Wrong itineraries, wrong names, wrong dates, you name it. The purpose of this review is to avoid more people to go through what I went through. I wish I would have never gone under contract with TravelAbundance or with Natalie, don't make the same mistake I made! Go somewhere else.

I booked her first international trip . 3 years ago, we had to cancel a trip , due to my laying in a hospital, as we were struck by another car . Immediate surgery. We apologized over and over We , booked a few months later , to Florida . Was wonderful. Then last year , I had a 55 year reunion trip with my best friend , she and her husband , with my encouragement, booked also with Travelabundance . We never complained, in Berlin, the transfer was a hour late , in Prague, the driver couldn't find us for an hour, then it was a dirty , best up , rusted out van, dropped us off , three blocks from hotel. In Vienna , the dinner cruise , was not running at that time of year . We never said a word , because frankly , things happen , we had a great time , everything was great So here is our story, Natalie deserves , everything positive, wonderful review. It's all true . I would encourage people to book with her . She gives an amazing service . Except, we were told by the agent to book our airfare , ok, her first complaint, which we found the hotel we wanted in Zurich, all she had to do was give us the prices of the two different rooms , which we booked . Then to get to another destination, by air, there was a a different airfare that came through our credit card then what was Austen , a substantial difference, when, we questioned , and cancelled, we were told by the agent to book the rest of the trip on our own, we were almost through anyway . I did contact Natalie , as a business, we were basically told it was a an upscale travel agent , there platform was different now . Which meant we don't question price . Natalie did get us the airplane , but sadly , she wouldn't finish our train or transfers . I gave Natalie the train, it didn't show up on her search engine, I thought take a different train , route, was told to book it on our own, the next day , I did send her a picture, on her search engine there it was . Ended up , i found a better train , no. Stop to Zurich on my own and booked it, I booked my transfers . We are just not the type of people , who nust book, without seeing prices . Our mistake , her services are now for people who g Have no budget constraints. We had planned an Italy and Portugal, trip . Will seek a travel agent here . It was very hurtful, I love Natalie , but we are just not her type of client. Which is disappointing, because she does have a great platform. What is upsetting, the agent , who dropped us cold , because we questioned room prices and the air discrepancy . We spent a lot of money , on last October , we never made a complaint or fussed over the mistakes. Our attitude , things happen . So we are saddened. It's not as if the agent had to search for a hotel, all she had to do was check the prices of two different rooms . She told us to make our own airplane reservations, we did , the airplane price difference from what was quoted , was to much of a difference. Would I still encourage people to book with them , yes , it's just people like us , who shouldn't , we are not in this same league. I will say , the app is wonderful, she plans great trips .. I write this because we learned , we are not the type of clients , they want . To just leave us out in the cold , to finish the trip on our own , was very sad , which we did . ,

Thank you Fair Trade for an amazing adventure!…read more Fair Trade Safaris put together another memorable safari experience for me, my husband, and our friends. We love the national parks we visited in Uganda and Tanzania. Seeing wildlife roam freely always makes my heart feel full. It is such an awe inspiring experience viewing such beauty in our world. The Fair Trade team made sure our travels went smoothly. We were greated in Kigali, Rwanda, and Arusha, Tanzania, by our drivers who took such good care of us. Our personal requests were always granted. I personally appreciated our drivers knowledge of the bird species that caught my eye during our travels. I would highly recommend Fair Trade Safaris. They have lived and worked in many of the countries they include in their safaris. They take great care in fostering a commitment to conservation. They seek to empower the local communities by including cultural experiences in the itinerary. Thank you Saurabh, Diana, and team, for taking such good care of us! Stephanie Seay

We travel often and like to plan our own trips, but when trying to figure out where to begin with…read morean African safari, we knew we would need expert advice. We were drawn to Fair Trade Safaris based on their commitment to African animal conservation and to the local communities. We chose Tanzania in order to see the Great Migration in June and July. Our family of four (two teenagers) first visited Tarangire National Park, a gem with beautiful baobab trees and animals left and right. Elephants were especially prolific. Next was the Ngorongoro Crater which is an absolute necessity in any Tanzanian itinerary. The landscape was stunning and the animals were mesmerizing. The Ngorongoro Farm House was among our favorite stays with delicious food and inviting accommodations. We then visited Serengeti National Park and stayed in the Kati Kati tented camp which was so authentic and the people were so nice and engaging. The food was tasty and we enjoyed "glamping" with giraffes and zebras right outside our tents. Finally, we visited western Serengeti and saw the Great Migration. It was so moving and unbelievable, there were even some tears shed! It's exactly as you see it on National Geographic. Josephat, our fabulous guide, was several notches above other guides. He spotted animals in trees far away that we couldn't see without binoculars. He even had to show other tour guides where animals were hiding on many occasions. One day he talked with other tour guides that were searching for a group of cheetahs seen earlier in the day by other guides. He used his knowledge of their behavior and searched in a few remote spots and found the group of five cheetahs. We met other tourists at the hotel that night that asked if we ever found the cheetahs and we replied in the affirmative. They were disappointed because their tour guide never found them. Thank you to Dianah and Saurabh for helping us with our itinerary and logistics. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit Africa again. Sincerely, Eric, Gwen, Jenna and Caroline Peterson
