1-Star Review Title: Beware -- Unlicensed Title Loan Activity I took out what Embassy Loans advertised as a "title loan" in October 2024, secured by my vehicle. After researching with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, I discovered that Embassy Loans does not hold a Title Loan Lender License under Chapter 537, Florida Statutes -- which is required for this kind of loan. They publicly market "auto title loans," yet only hold a consumer finance license (Chapter 516), which does not authorize loans using a car title as collateral. Under Florida law, unlicensed title loans are considered void, and lenders may be required to refund all money collected. I've since filed a formal complaint with state regulators and the Attorney General. If you're considering a loan here, verify their license first and understand your rights before signing anything. read more

If your borrowing 1,000 be ready to pay 2,500 back. Right before paying them off they tow my car for being late a couple days. They stopped emailing and calling us a long time ago as well. If we would of got a call and we're aware of this happening we would of quickly made the payment. We were going to pay that same morning they came for the car. We were just extremely busy the week before that we go carried away. This company is trash. Now we can't get to work. It's just a spiral of problems. Embassy Loan Underwriting department do not consider individuals with unexpected hardships to penalized them to maintain the livelihood when no other options are available. So when you pay off the title loan due to uncontrollable life events, income delays, death in the family along with verbal and email communications is not acceptable. You pay off the title loan and penalized you when you come back years later to deny you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME because they do not consider where unexpected life events occur beyond your control. Seek other options and keep your vehicle. It is not worth going through the process to be denied. read more

Unless you are so hard up for cash that you are about to put pantyhose over your head and rob a bank don't go here. You will feel as though you were robbed. And this is true. Example, borrow $500 and take 12 months to pay it back, you will pay back $1200.00. Even if you pay back early you still will pay back about $1000.00! The receptionist is unprofessional and ignorant. She was overheard speaking badly about customers who were sitting 5 feet away, at a volume that they could hear her. They had about a dozen employees working, but only ONE girl was helping the 5 people waiting in the lobby. So we waited about 2 hours from the time we arrived until we signed the paperwork. Then waited another 45 minutes to get our Moneygram number. Most of the employees here look and act unprofessional and talk down to the customers. read more

I have used Embassy Loans a few times when I was in a tough situation and needed cash quick. I can honestly say, they are very professional and there are no hidden fees. They are upfront and tell you all the fees associated with the loan. Oh....by the way, Embassy Loans reports to all the credit bureaus really fast. My credit score went up immensely. I also like the fact that when I do need their services...they are pretty fast. I highly recommend Embassy Loans if you're in a bind and need some extra cash. read more

I'm sure it's difficult to have satisfied customers, in this type of business, but I can tell you first hand, I have no incentive to writing this review, in fact, I would rather not use their service if I don't need to. But one thing is for sure, these guys are fair, direct, up front, and honest. I contacted this business for a title loan and was told to fill out the application on-line and someone would get back to me. I did,but when their representative returned my call,I was told to complete the application with them again! Please Beware of this company! Finally.I was told that I did qualify for $7500 and I should bring the car over between 12;30-2:30 pm .WASTE OF TIME..They took a copy of my License,Car Title, Social Security# and signed agreement..Then told me I needed to bring the car back the following day because the person to inspect the car wasn't there!?? The following day someone called me and reiterated the same but couldn't find my information (unprofessional) The next day I drove all the way there again and they wanted me to sign up again..after a looong wait ,a guy named Alejandro came over ,inspected my Porsche went back inside and offered Only $5000 (on a like new $68,000 car). After I explained I had been previously approved for $7500 ..He then became very rude...What a waste of time ..Please save yourself and stay away from This business ..Also they require an extremely expensive -insurance replacement type waiver??-While you may have insurance already. This place practices terrible service. I mailed the monthly payment and just because they didn't not receive it on time, they towed my car without notifying me. Both of the front tires were damaged for which they paid for after I reported their horrible actions to the BBB. their subcontracted storage facility charged me a fee for keeping the car behind an unlocked chain linked fence and an additional fee for " keeping an eye on the contents inside the car". I paid off the loan along with the dumbfounded fees and I got my car back. I definitely would not recommend anyone to use Embassy Loans for is a highly probable that your car is going to get towed away without notification. Moreover, should you have conflict with them, report them to the Better Business Bureau and don't accept a bribe of removing your complaint in exchange for money. I accepted such deal and Embassy loan fraudulently and misleading reported the car as a Repossessed property in lieu of title loan payment . I'm currently trying to lease a car and the car Dealer doesn't approve it due to such a false report. read more

Avoid this company at all costs. They will not work with you if you get into a bind and the fees are outrageous. They will take your car over $200 and add a $1000 in fees for you to get it back even after you have already paid the original loan back and the high interest. The associates are rude and they have no empathy towards anyone. They dont care if you are sick, laid off, or even on your deathbed, they will still take your car instead of working with you.
