We really enjoyed our stay here. A huge shout out to Corey at the bar and the kitchen staff who were super accommodating when we called at 9:46 PM to see if it would be possible to get food when we arrived. We were told "no worries" and were welcomed when we arrived. I wasn't expecting much from hotel fare, particularly right at closing but it was really good, especially the wings. We enjoyed a glass of wine while we waited and chose to eat in the bar/lobby area as the ambiance and seating was inviting and very comfortable. Although the food was definitely frozen, fried fare, they clearly have a good supplier and kitchen staff that cared to prepare and present it properly. The room was updated, clean and comfortable if a little on the small side in comparison to other Embassy Suites. Breakfast was good; however, there were items missing (specials advertised were actually unavailable) and machines not working (iced coffee) as well as a limited selection of coffee condiments but the staff was phenomenal. We enjoyed the pool as it was private and in a perfect sunny spot but it could've been a little cleaner (cloudy and leaves). I chalked that up to being rather early in the season for much pool traffic. The evening reception was enjoyable as well and the staff worked hard to ensure no one waited too long and tables were cleared and cleaned quickly. Additionally, this is the first time since Covid that I've had cleaning staff come around and offer to freshen up and restock, so I was grateful to not have to call and wait. If we come back to the area, we would absolutely choose to stay here again. Thank you to all of the staff that made our stay great...you all made it 5 stars!

Old hotel in need off some TLC. It seems like surfaces are cleaned and the sheets are white. My main issue is that when I walked into my room, I saw and killed a roach on kitchenette counter.

Not the pool on our visit

I have certain quality standards at Hilton properties and Embassy Suites is a brand where one has certain expectations to meet. Brunswick GA is a small town (mom grew up there) The bad: the pool water was green, one person in my party decided to brave it but didn't want to put their head under water. One area of the pool had so much algae, it felt like you were stepping on pond grass. "A little chlorine goes a long way" isn't an expression they are aware of The atrium of the hotel was definitely not being cooled by a/c. I understand the need to conserve energy, but it felt like a swamp in the common areas Where were any bellman to help with the luggage on arrival? They had luggage carts, but apparently it's do it yourself The good: the cocktail reception was great, the bartenders genuine and friendly, and customer oriented. The breakfast was great, the lady flipping the omelets was a good cook and very sweet. Had it not been for the breakfast and bar, I'd have opted to rate the property a 2 Note, I did complain to Hilton, and they did appear to appreciate my concerns With some minor customer service adjustments, would be a great experience overall.

Save your money, the rooms are old, dark and outdated! Toilet is for kindergartners it's so low and when you sit on it the toilet moves and bangs the wall! It's not connected properly! The floor grout is filthy, tub is gross with layers of caulking on the inside and base. Door looks the it was in a flood splitting on the bottom! Shower had no water pressure on 4 & 5 floor from what we heard checking out! We experienced very low water pressure as well! Lighting is low so you can't see, lightbulbs not working or bulbs flickering , crooked lamps & shades! What was once a nice hotel with great simple appetizers is now just chips, pretzels & fruit! The Free wine is cheap rot gut tasting and beers are Bud & Bud Light, with cheap rail booze! One positive not the bed was comfortable! Can't recommend this hotel for the price you pay for a bedroom suite! Save your money it's located in a nearly vacant mall next to a movie theater which doesn't give you a warm and fuzzy feeling for security! Never again will we stay here! Staff was cordial but could care less about conditions several people were complaining at the front desk! Save your money and stay elsewhere! I don't recommend Embassy Suites any longer, same experience or similar each time we've stayed the last 4 stays on the eastern seaboard! Would give 3.5 stars if I could!

Incredible place to stay. Morning breakfast....comfortable rooms. Cheryl & Sheliah were my breakfast providers and the were incredible folks to start my day off. I recommend this place for the friendly staff and incredible service. Val (the Pretty One) kept things lively with her humor. Sergio, Alvin & A.J. kept my coffee cup / orange juice full and the fruit /cereal bar well stocked. We stayed here for 7 nights and highly recommend this place and the people are so hospitable.

    Bathroom sink.

I dot usually write reviews but since it only takes a hot meal to make the guys above to give a good review I thought I'd warn you. Outdated. Rooms are very dark Small sink area hardly any room for bathroom items to get ready. We plugged the sink so I wouldn't lose items bc it has no plug. The plug in the tub is so old it comes all of the way out to keep the water to drain, or plug it completely. Shower pressure was THE WORST I've ever had. I can't wash my hair bc it would take 45 minutes to wash and get it all rinsed thoroughly. .... Are the good reviews above from the guys.....just bc of the breakfast? Because that's what it has to be. I haven't even had breakfast yet we just got into the bed and it's hot even though it's set on 66, and we're too tired to call and have to move to another room. The fan for the air won't even kick on. Listen if you can travel back to 1995 this would be the place to stay, but in 2023 IT NEEDS UPDATES & REPAIRS.... NOW!!! All of the other hotels in the area had 3 stars, so we chose this one based off of 4 stars. But I can tell you that we won't stop at this exit to stay ever again.

What an interesting location. I was nervous as this hotel is in a pretty much abandoned mall. However we did feel safe and the hotel is very nice. The bed was excellent and the service was exactly you would expect from an embassy suites. I do have to say that I really like the keyless digital key on my app. Also what an amazing breakfast. They have a chef to cook omelettes. I would stay here again when visiting the beach. This hotel was perfectly located between st. Simone's and Jekyll Island.

Stayed in this hotel last week for a baseball tournament. Walking in is fine if you can get passed the abandoned mall parking lot. The lobby and restaurants were also decent. However, when we got the room it was musty smelled of an old locker room. I paid for an upgraded corner room to just have views of the old mall roof top, the pool

It's the first hotel I stayed at since Covid that is doing housekeeping services in the room!

Stayed here for a month in September 2025 for work. This was probably the single worst hotel…read moreexperience I've had in my life. I'll start with the highs: the staff is reasonable friendly, and the A/C in the room does get pretty cold. And that's where the good ends. Housekeeping is hit or miss--there were multiple days when I returned to my room at the end of the day only to find an unmade bed, despite housekeeping being a daily-promised thing at this property. And despite this, one of the housekeepers had the gumption to leave a hand-written note asking for tips. Sorry, while I do usually tip for that service, when you start expecting it, especially after not actually providing housekeeping, I'm not inclined to reward that. Now for the really bad. At the time, the hotel's keycard encoding machine was not working. For a solid month. My classmates and I were admonished by the front desk staff not to lose our keys (or, oddly, the paper keycard sleeves--guess those are in short supply?), because they could not be replaced. A coworker was staying in an adjoining room, and his keycard stopped working. The hotel's solution? Giving him a master key. Yes, this random guest was provided with a key that could open any room in the hotel. Which he demonstrated by unlocking my door. Lovely. Then, the painting. Rather than spend money on something that would actually improve the guest experience, like deep-cleaning the carpets to get rid of whatever that weird, pervasive smell was in the hallways on every floor, the property owner decided to repaint the exterior of the hotel. Another coworker staying in the hotel was parked adjacent to the building on the day painting started. The front desk had our vehicle information and knew who every vehicle parked on the property belonged to. Did they contact my coworker to ask him to move the vehicle? They did not. They wrapped it in plastic and continued with the painting. Finally, checkout day. Checkout is at noon. I had moved most of my stuff out of my room the day prior, but had left several things, like my Keurig, a Squatty Potty, and a rather expensive Dyson fan. Upon arriving at the hotel at 10:30 AM to grab the last of my stuff, I was surprised to find that my room was empty, everything cleared out. I went down to the front desk, where the clerk was surprised to see me. "You're still here? We thought you checked out." Why? Why would you think that? I haven't turned in my key, the one you were so adamant about me returning. Also, there were still several items left in my room, things which nobody would reasonably expect would be discarded so callously. And again, the hotel knows who is staying in their rooms. I was required to provide my cell phone number at check-in. Was a courtesy call made to ensure I had not left without checking out, absconding with that irreplaceable keycard and its wilted paper sleeve? No, of course not. After about ten minutes, one of the housekeeping staff sheepishly returned my Dyson fan to me, along with the Keurig. The Squatty Potty was MIA, but frankly, after some stranger has manhandled it, I would have felt weird using it. An acceptable loss at this point. Side note: the hotel has but a single washer and dryer. If you're planning on an extended stay, this ain't the move.

Shower pressure, EXCELLENT! Typical free breakfast at this price point. We would definitely stay here again
