Newly renovated hotel. Everything was clean and fresh. Our room was immaculate. Nice kitchenette equipped with dish washer and microwave. Dishwashing soap and sponge provided. Bathroom was well stocked. They have a restaurant and the food was just so good! Nice bar to have some drinks. Lots of seating areas around. Computer access, gym, bbq nook, pool and outside seating area. Breakfast was the usual Hilton stuff but you could go to the restaurant for a better breakfast at a price. Staff was friendly and there was a maintenance guy constantly mopping the floor by the entrance and elevators keeping it clean. It was a rainy night. Overall, we were impressed with the service and cleanliness of this hotel. Nice place to stay. Worth to note that there are quite a few different types of restaurants in the area. read more

This customer service here is Trash, very disrespectful and the breakfast is almost non edible. 1 guest washing machine for the 175 rooms with 91 being extended stays. On top of all this they say the clean your room every other day but it's been 4 days since I got service. read more

Went to get in my room, but my key would not let me open the door. That was the only issue. Room was nice and clean, with a modern look. TV had a lot of channels. Me and my wife both got a bagged breakfast sandwich, and both had hard "bread" bottoms. I would get an omelette next time. Waffle was good. You can show your breakfast ticket or your room key to get breakfast. read more

Stayed 7 weeks. Don't recommend. Here's why...(the review will get better towards the end, to include theft by employees) Hotel Information: Hilton Home2 Suites is connected to Hilton Garden Inn, which is essentially the same staff members and employees. Therefore the review should be for both interested guests. Background Information: FLETC is nearby training academy which brings in a lot of students and potentially a lot of business for local businesses. FLETC has (had?) a contract with the hotel to provide services to include daily cleaning to meet COVID protocol except weekends or holidays. First Impressions: Nice in appearance, spacious rooms, comfortable feel. Breakfast: For the first few weeks, there seemed to be plenty of options with added treats such as rice crispy treats. As the weeks went on, they seemed to run out of stock or funding and had very basic items out. One morning, the only cereal they had was the Chex type. Morning coffee looks like black water, nothing special. Basic Functionality: One of the main doors leading to the front patio worked only 10% of the time with key card entry. When I told the desk clerk the first few times, she acted like it was something she had never heard before and thought it was strange. I say acted because she knows it was broken and refused to put the work order in to get it operational the entire 7 weeks I was there. The cabinets inside the rooms were built with the slow close action to keep from being loud when shutting. This does not apply to the main doors. For example I would recommend you not stay here, but if you don't have a choice like my situation, refuse the doors near the exits. The doors slam and loudly cling when key card activated. Laundry: It's located in the gym area. It's quarter operational, but free. They figured out to make it free, they could just remove the locking door to quarter compartment but didn't think of this before buying coin machines, which means you still have to go through the motions of putting a quarter in 5-6 times and retrieve each time. Snack Services Break Area: Items for sell are a rip off. Why mark up items just because Hilton is selling it? A bottle of water was $3. The same bottle was sold across the street in a pack of 32 for $6. It's like a 700% mark up. Appreciate their fine assistance with providing water (not really). Suggest buying a water pitcher with filter. Employee and Security Issues (this may be lengthy): One of my classmates had a Ring camera in the room (in plain sight) with a sign letting employees know it was recording. His camera caught employees sitting around on their cell phones and going through his stuff on the shelf, showing the other employee. Another classmate had two things stolen from his room. One was a random egg from his egg carton. The second item was related to law enforcement so I won't go into detail on that item. It got to the point where I had to go buy a storage bin just to lock up all my laptops and important stuff just because we couldn't trust the employees. Management was told several times and never took actions until the last theft. They never took seriously any of the many other complaints we brought up over and over again and only offered a comped appetizer. For instance, one classmate came back in the evening and found her room's dead bolt engaged and keeping it from shutting or being secured. Anyone could have stole her stuff. They never fixed that issue and it happened four times during the 7 weeks. Two classmates had employees walk in on them without knocking, while one was getting dressed. Half the time the rooms were not cleaned and we never once had our linen changed on the bed. There are other things I am sure I am missing, but you get the point. Several of us had to get our on items from front desk like towels and ice bucket liners, which seemed to be frequent. The hotel is a circus! My belief is management hired their friends and don't care if their friends aren't doing their job other than sitting around and collecting a paycheck. Not only would I not recommend this hotel, I would recommend not ever choosing another Hilton again anywhere for that matter. read more

Had to recently travel to Georgia and not familiar with the area. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms and the spacious amenities. Very clean and everything one would possibly need. Breakfast is hot and plentiful. No airport shuttle though. read more

Very nice room. There was a couple issues. 1. Dog place is on back side of building an people do not walk round building to get poop bags when there dog poops up front. 2. Service dogs can not be with you in dinning area. Not what the stamp law says, but we comply with there rule. 3. Pull out couch is very uncomfortable to sit on. 4. No stove . Not a bad stay. The room was clean mostly. There were some dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Overall though it was a nice place to rest my head. The breakfast was good. Waffles, sandwiches, cereal, and bagels. There is some more too but that's the most of it. The halls were clean. For how busy it was, it was quiet. I think almost every room was booked. They do allow pets and they were some of the best guests. One lady had her teacup pup in the lobby scoping it out. read more

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. I was disgusted to find a prior guest's false eyelashes in our bathroom, along with a trash can full of used tissues and styrofoam objects. Who knows what else I did/could not see?Staff claimed to be unable to move us to a different room and no manager was on duty. Our email to manager James Westenskow was never responded to. The hotel has a sign posted saying "We guarantee an engaging experience and clean, comfortable accommodations. If you aren't completely satisfied, let us make it right or that night's on us." DON'T BELIEVE IT! This hotel DOES NOT stand behind its guarantee. There are plenty of other hotels to stay at in Brunswick and you would be smart to try one of them. read more

Hubby and I stayed here 5 nights on a business trip. Clean, yes! The housekeeping staff is very attentive and super friendly! Front desk staff also friendly! We loved that there are 4 elevators, never a wait. The only cons were old and cold eggs for breakfast, and stale, obviously pre-frozen biscuits. Also, most hotels have coffee available all day, but here it was $2. However, that won't sway us from returning, mainly because of great staff and cleanliness! read more

A newer hotel with big rooms. There 2 room suites are really just one large room with a mini kitchen in the hallway. There is a curtain separating the bed and sofa. For whatever good that does and a small bathroom. Breakfast offers plenty of different choices and since the hotel is merged with the Hilton Garden Inn as well there are plenty of amenities. As well as a bowling alley next door. Sound proofing is pretty good, unless you get stuck next to a barking dog. Now for a (redhot moment) the air conditioning is fabulous! A nice cool room with a button for keeping the fan on all night. We only had one issue. When we left for breakfast in the morning and returned, the a/c went off and reset the heat. Be aware of your air sensor. It may have a mind of its own. read more

Couldn't get past the very strong smell of animals in the halls and in my room. I have a large dog living in my house, so i'm no stranger to a little doggy smell, but this place was on a whole different level of stink. The lobby and receptionist area was the only place that didn't smell of dirty wet dog odor. read more

The check in person could not help me despite having a prepaid reservation. She had to call the manager over for assistance. Employee training could improve their skills. It appears all guests are expected to have a smartphone that reads QR codes. There is no printed literature in the room except for a Bible. No phone book. No printed guest directory. There is no information about WiFi available on the hotel website, or the cost of "premium" WiFi. The online guest directory available only through the QR code has incomplete or or no information about many guest services. Lots of "insert here" in the Hilton directory boilerplate. This is unfathomable after a year of being open for business. Called manager on duty with a question from the room phone but never got a callback. There is a lot with Tesla superchargers adjacent to the hotel via a short walk. Breakfast service was sparsely attended perhaps due to the high prices. There is significant road noise during nighttime hours. The blackout curtains were good. The bathroom was clean and in-room coffee available. I cannot recommend this hotel. Hilton needs to make their staff more efficient and responsive-- and recognize that many guests prefer an Old School style printed and complete Guest Services Directory. Quite a few lodging establishments in the vicinity. I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

The housekeeping staff were the most inconsiderate I've ever experienced. I was barged in on twice, they didn't knock or announce themselves. Luckily I had the door latch on so they weren't able to open it much, but they didn't even apologize. When they clean the rooms, they engaged the deadbolt so the door doesn't close all the way but they constantly go in and out of each room and let the door slam as the grab supplies. So if you weren't already awake by 9am you will be. Either way, you get to listen to the slamming doors for several hours. I've always see housekeeping staff prop the door open with a door stop or their cart, never the deatbolt. They yell down the hallway to each other and take personal phone calls with no consideration of their guest that may be trying to sleep. I've worked at three hotel properties and stayed at least 60 more and I've NEVER seen anything like it. It boggles my mind. They do do a decent job cleaning and are friendly when you do interact with them so I guess that's something. The rest of the staff are nice and the hotel is clean. However, I'd never stay here and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either. read more

Stopped on our way to Florida. We trusted Hilton to provide clean and safe rooms. What a great hotel. The staff was over the top, some of the nicest I have ever dealt with. We felt perfectly safe at all times and all areas. The rooms were cleaned and sealed. They even provided a full breakfast under very controlled conditions. We plan to stop on our way back. read more

this hotel is not interested in customer service. (1) we are hilton honors guests. (2) at check in we were offered 2 bottles of water for our party of 4. due to manager policy, we were denied 2 additional bottles, unless we paid $2 or something a bottle. Seriously? these bottles are $0.20 at walmart. (3) we were charged $75 for our pet, this was not disclosed during our reservation process. (4) the pool was closed. (5) my email to the manager at this point went unanswered as of today, 3 days later, still unanswered. (6) staff were rude to us about our dog, accusing us of not being in the room with the dog when we had people in the room, and then making a big deal about it, and it wasnt even our dog barking cause we heard another dog on the floor barking. (7) the spinach and bacon salad at the restaurant was a bacon and spinach salad (too much bacon) and the bacon was sour tasting. (8) the breakfast buffet was lacking - they did not have enough supplies so there were a lot of empty spots where there should have been food. Some of this may seem petty, but when bad experiences build up and up and no one seems to want to hear about them, it makes me have to share my experience. read more

We were woken up in the middle of the night by a loud bang on our door. I waited by the peephole and this young black mail ran head first into our door. It was hard enough to put a red place above my eye. The night clerk brushed me off, I explained we felt scared. She told police they were knocking and thats it. I later seen this person with a name tag on in the hotel. We were made to look crazy. Two other guests let me know they had it happen too. I spent the whole night up guarding my family ~ it was a nightmare that they cared nothing about. The manager told us that he would walk through the dining area and randomly ask or check things out to see if anyone seemed suspicious so my son stayed down there until 10 am.. guess what, he didn't! Really disappointed in our experience at this hotel. I had called ahead to confirm it was pet friendly and was told it was and there was not a fee. So I booked it ahead for our overnight stop on our drive to Florida. We arrived in the hotel after having driven for an hour and the front desk women who was just getting ready to leave for the night puts a pet agreement down that seemed really over the top and noted a $75 fee. At this point I was exhausted from driving over 11 hours and being stuck in traffic and I just wanted to go to bed so I let it be. The room was fine. Nothing special. It reeked of urine which was unpleasant and the towels did not feel clean. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and felt very cheap. When we woke up in the morning I found I had been charged a $150 pet fee. On the way out I mentioned this to the women at the desk and her response was just that I must have talked to someone at central booking and he didn't know about the pet fee. I explained that it was too much to find somewhere else after having driven all day and she just shrugged. I felt completely blown off and ripped off. All around a terrible experience. Way too expensive for such poor rooms and experience. Stay elsewhere! read more

Hotel was very clean. Stayed on first floor and heard every single thing. Sounds like people are stomping above us and just up all night long. My husband travels for business and stayed in this hotel for 6 months. Yes, for 6 months his company paid for his room. As summer approached and vacation season began, they continually ask him when he was checking out. See what his company was paying per night is lower than what they get when the vacationers arrive. His kept telling them, He would be there through the end of the month. The lady booking his room from his company communicated that as well. When he found he was able to leave a few days earlier, that was also communicated. As he returned from his job site for his LAST night stay in the hotel, he found that they basically throw him out. Everything from his room was in plastic bags including food, his personal items. They just dumped it and wheeled it into a cart and out of the room. Did they call him? Did they say "hey we thought you were checking out today? Nope, just dump his stuff and let him arrive to find they had done so. UNBELIEVABLE! Of course, management said "oh sorry, our mistake". But honestly, this is a new hotel which substandard management practices. My hubby's company will take their business elsewhere and also recommend that same for all of their subcontractors. No excuse for the way he was treated. None at all. read more
