The cleanest Hampton I have been in - especially the bathrooms. I want to give a huge shout out to the housekeeping crew at this location! Great job and I appreciate it so much I told the manager on duty. There is a beautiful palm tree at the front entrance and this location is conveniently located by many dining establishments, gas stations and right off the interstate. I have no idea why this hotel only has a 3 star review!!! We stopped here at midnight on our way to a wedding in Sarasota and found the woman at the front desk very friendly! Our double queen on the 5th floor was quite spacious, beautifully decorated and a lot more room than a lot of hotels that are twice the price. The toiletries were paraben and sulfate free which shows the company's dedication to what most consumers mark as a priority! The hotel Restaurant had something perfect to snack on as you prepare to leave! We will definitely remember this place on our next trip to Florida, which is often!! read more

I stay at Hampton Inn all the time when traveling and usually am very satisfied. Even those that are a little tired are clean and well-maintained. The hotel in Brunswick was neither. The hallways needed vacuuming, our bathtub had chunks of rust/mold (not sure) hanging off the spigot (which wiped off, indicating that housekeeping didn't clean the bathroom well, the refrigerator made a loud noise that sounded like an alarm clock, and the water was lukewarm at best - no hot showers for us. Usually, coffee is available early in the morning before breakfast opens at 6 am. When the coffee finally came out, it was undrinkable. Finally, if you are going to charge a $75 fee for having a dog in the room, perhaps you should actually deep-clean the room. It was obvious that dogs had defecated in multiple areas in the room - floor & furniture. Having said all that, the bed was comfortable, the location is convenient, and the digital key actually worked here. read more

An overnight stop to break my trip up. The front desk Staff was polite and quickly got me checked in. The room was clean and well stocked. Mattress was comfortable. This location had dark roast coffee which was a plus. My past few trips at the Hilton hotels, the location stated they no longer have dark roast. Located close to I-95 for easy access. read more

Trying out a new spot as we layover on our trip to NC. This was in the same area as the Holiday Inn and it was walking distance to a restaurant we wanted to try, Toucans. Very clean. Looked new! Indoor pool and jacuzzi if you take a motion for a swim. Staff was amazing. Very friendly. Checked us in and upgraded us to the King suite! Wry nice. The room was huge. Living room, large wet bar and nice bathroom. Everything was clean and smelled awesome! Really great hotel. We will stop again. read more

Front desk staff was rude and not helpful at all. Phone in the room did not work. Took one full hour in the morning to get all that was needed to have a cup of coffee and tea in the room. Foam cups for microwave use. Room smelled stale. If this was king executive suite for platinum members I don't even want to think what a walk in would look like. This is a truck stop hotel. Fleeing hurricane Milton and was charged almost $400 per night. Could not find another night costing more than $134 so PRICE GOUGING. I complained to the GM Claire Moody who did nothing. I reported then to the Georgia Attorney General. IMHO it is a crappy hotel taking advantage and I'm in their loyalty program!!! We stayed here mid-October 2024. We generally look for Hampton Inns on our road trips and have previously stayed at this location, but we won't be going back. We will also be much more careful about choosing Hiltons in the future. The hotel is in need of a makeover and we paid a lot more than we normally pay for a Hampton Inn, and we could have probably had the same experience at some other hotel for $100/night less. The AC unit loudly cycled on and off during the night, so you were cold with air blowing on you for 10 minutes and then hot for 10 minutes. Shower water was not hot at night. Exercise room equipment is limited and very dated. The hot tub in the pool was closed off by yellow tape, making it look like a crime scene. I shared these concerns with the front desk attendant in the morning and she was very professional and pleasant, and promised to let the manager know, but there was no follow-up. read more

Never will I EVER.............. stay at a Country Inn Suites again!! The Brunswick, Ga location room 315 was a disgusting from check in to check out. Front office check in: No one is EVER there, they are either in the side room smoking and chatting it up or they are in the lobby, there was a baby there the entire time. Daughter rang the bell six times before someone came. The entire hotel smelled like a sour mop and mold. Room 315 was beyond disgusting. Every part of the carpet had a stain, the suite area setup very outdated and full of stains on the chair and sofa which didn't even match each other. Bathroom two bulbs were burnt out one socket not working, entire inside toilet had satins in it and floor was deplorable. The bedroom curtains dirty with a blood stain. The bed sheet had a stain on it. Overall just horrible, the owner needs to totally sanitize, clean and remodel the ENTIRE hotel. Daily rate should be $50 or less this place isn't worth a penny more! read more

Driving from NJ to Florida we needed somewhere to crash for the night, and this Hampton Inn allows you to bring your dogs. The hotel was clean enough, I just think the rooms that allow dogs should have tile instead of carpets. The breakfast in the morning was good, something for everyone and a waffle bar. read more

I have been a very loyal Marriott rewards member for over 26 years and have reached the Titanium Elite lifetime membership, but I guess that doesn't seam to hold any weight at the Brunswick Courtyard Marriott. I used my first reward voucher ever and it was not a Bonvoy happy experience. We checked in at midnight. The lobby was empty and there was one associate on duty. That's where the good part stoped. I asked if there were any upgrades available and was told the hotel is completely booked. I was ok with that. When we checked into our room we were greeted by a very nauseous cloud of weed (marijuana). Either someone was just in the room smoking, or the scent lingered in from adjoining rooms. When I called the front desk to ask if they could send someone up I was told to come down to the front desk and they would change my room. So I packed up my family and we returned to the front desk were we patiently waited for 15-minutes, which was not easy that late, for the front desk associate to finish with a checkin she was working on. When she finished she informed me that there were no rooms available to move me to. I asked her why did you have us come down then? We could have avoided the uncomfortable situation if she just told me that on the phone. We then returned to our original room we opened the sliding door to get the extreme odor of weed out of the room. Not exactly how we wanted to sleep on a cold night and with the noise of the adjacent highway. During breakfast I asked the front desk for a breakfast voucher that I typically get due to my Titanium Elite Status. It was a bit of a struggle, but the front desk associate gave me a voucher that she said was good for only two people. I was ok with that and said I'd pay for the rest of my family. When we approached the breakfast counter it was empty. The woman working the counter was not that friendly, but it's Christmas so I understood. I paid for a $4 bagel and was charged $6.50 and I gave a $3.50 tip. The bagel was nuked and was a bit chewy at first, then it turned into a rock, like when you over cook bread in a microwave. The bagel was delivered to the table with one pat of butter, I asked if there was any cream cheese. She said no and walked away. Not the best breakfast experience. Overall I was very disappointed. I travel for work 160 days a year and typically stay local when I'm on vacation, so I was excited to take advantage of my status and hopefully share a positive travel experience with my family. After traveling for 7 weeks, this was the last night before we headed home. We were able to checkin on-line, and choose our room, but they didn't have digital key like all the other locations, so that was disappointing as I love the concept of not stopping at the desk, but going straight to my room. The lobby was nice, and the two people working at the desk were personable and efficient. They even reminded us to take our oatmeal raisin cookie. Our room smelled clean and was bigger than many rooms we had stayed in lately. There was a microwave and refrigerator and there was actually a freezer, which seldom happens. The TV was extremely small for the size of the room, but at least the bed was comfortable. The room was quiet, which was really nice. We didn't choose to have breakfast, but they were serving it in the morning. read more

I had to stay at the Hampton Inn in Brunswick for a work assignment. Parking was very easy to navigate. When I went into to the hotel, the receptionist was very nice. I was checked in fast and was asked to be signed up in the Hampton Inn's reward program. After checking in, I was given water and popcorn which was nice. They also had cookies and free coffee in the lobby. When I got in the room, I did my normal inspection. Everything checked out. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall, the stay was good. read more

My wife and I traveled to Brunswick for a couple of days. As a Hilton honors member, I searched for hotels and found the Hampton Inn and Suites. I found a King bed suite with a walk in shower!! I called reservations to book the room with the walk in shower!! Yes, there are photos of the room with a walk in shower. I checked in, took the luggage up to second floor and I find a room with no walk in shower. Went down to the front desk and the attendant said there was only one room with a walk in shower, so she moved us. Went into that room and walk in shower, yes, but not same as pictured on website. This was a room for people with wheel chairs. This is Fraud!! Also, the walls at this hotel are paper thin!!! There is no way anyone can get a good sleep at this place. Do not stay here if you need some rest!!! read more

This Hampton Inn is NOT up to Hilton standards. They only stay in business because of all the government travel. Rooms are in desperate need of a deep cleaning and remodel. The beds are not comfortable and the noise is almost unbearable. My company picked the hotel for me and I would never choose to stay here again. My Diamond status meant nothing to the staff- all of whom are friendly but untrained in the Hilton standards. The housekeepers are friendly, but I know they went thru my closet and moved at least one of my bags in the room. The breakfast didn't vary much during my stay. The business center is a joke- no FedEx or UPS boxes. Housekeeping didn't make up my room one day because I had the do not disturb sign hanging until 10am, even though I talked to the housekeeper on my floor and asked for service. Last- there was a very rude woman on check-in. She was rude to my coworkers and I, didn't care about Diamond status, and I overheard her being rude to another customer. I asked one of the staff if there was a manager around and they pointed to the rude woman at the front desk- she is the GM. I plan to give talk to Hilton Corporate- this place needs to get inspected badly and their staff needs training badly. The GM needs to find a Motel 6 to run. If you're Diamond or Gold- don't expect ANY recognition or rewards (ie everyone gets a prepackaged bag of water and preselected snack). read more

I'm really disappointed in our stay here. My Mom used to work for Hampton Inn & Suites, so I know they usually have a great standard, but this one is definitely below that standard. I stay in hotels a lot with work (multiple times per week), so I notice the little things. Today, when I went to shower, all the towels were still wet, so I'm not sure if they were not dried 100% or if they had been used already and just rolled back up. Then I realized the soaps had all been removed from the soap boxes. This leads me to believe that somebody is not checking nor cleaning thoroughly. When I called down to guest services to find out more information, nobody answered. I spend a lot of money with Hilton properties each year, I have points, the credit card, the whole nine yards, so I usually never have issues with these properties. So this one is a bit of a let-down for me. Details are so important, especially when it comes to cleanliness. For that reason, I'd give this two stars. The bed slept comfortably, which is about all this location had going for it. Do better y'all. read more

Me, my family, my daughters softball team, consisting of many small children. All reserved rooms in advance. We drove several hours to get to this hotel,l had reserved for Friday and Saturday so we could enjoy Easter weekend as a team on the beach. When we arrived, the staff could not give us the rooms we reserved. The excuse was they were short staffed and could not get the rooms clean. We have been through this before, it happens. So we dined at toucans which is within walking distance had a great experience, went back to the hotel and tried to enjoy the pool until it closed. I say tried because the chlorine was strong. All the kids were hurting from it. We had a decent little breakfast in the lobby the next morning. We had a successful day at the ball field. We came back to a night manager that was the rudest child I have ever met. The night manager was banging on the counter and yelling at the coach for no reason. I think this person was so young the power of being a manager was new to them, and the end result was the manager called the police and had the police remove a husband and wife with two small daughters. And a mother and wife of a veteran, and her 3 small daughters. Without refund on top of it all, and at midnight. How are you supposed to get another room? The upper management will be notified. I'd imagine, the hotel won't care as long as they can take more people's money without providing any service. If you are a family traveling, I would say there's motels next to this one.... don't stay here. Night management is absolutely horrible, and I don't think upper management Is gonna change anything. read more

This hotel is beyond tired; outside of the expected nicks and scratches, the room smelled, the elevators routinely go out (twice during our 1 night stay, and we heard the staff talking about it as a normal occurence), carpeting was stained, ice machine was broken on our floor (clearly for a while, since the tape and sign it held up were old and dirty), nowhere to sit except for one desk chair that didn't work very well... On top of that, the front desk manager spent his time busily texting, mask hanging off one ear. Even when I went downstairs and received a perfunctory "How are you?" from him, he never looked up. Lobby eating area would be all right except it was freezing - after our complaints that it was too cold to eat our dinner there and nowhere to eat in the room, nothing was done. Staff complained a while later and still, nothing done. Management took no responsibility for any issues and was completely unhelpful at all times. Hilton clearly doesn't consider this outpost a priority, or even half a priority. A pity. Really do not recommend staying here. read more

Worst Hampton Inn in memory. One bedside lamp with broken switch and the other with a bad switch and a burned out bulb. Very few outlets. Very noisy refrigerator made sleep difficult. Even with fan set on continuous low it cycled with a very noisy AC system. Bath fan ran continuously and was also irritatingly noisy. Bedside tables very small. Lots of other hotels within ¼ mile an a much lower price. Try one of those. read more

This place is a joke. I booked a room from Dec 14th to Dec 15th as I drove 5 hours from FL to GA.
