Here's a condensed and impactful Yelp review version based on everything you've shared: 1 Star Absolutely Disgusting - Never Staying Here Again I stayed at Embassy Suites Denver Tech Center for 11 nights, and it was by far the dirtiest hotel experience I've ever had. The room was filthy from the start--stains on the furniture, grime in the bathroom, what looked like black mold in the shower, and thick dust on every surface. The pullout couch was broken and slanted at about a 45° angle, and we found chip wrappers behind the headboard. The bathroom sink was clogged and filled up when used. Even worse, we requested new sheets due to what looked like a bloodstain on the comforter--and housekeeping just reused the same dirty bedding. Despite a Do Not Disturb sign, hotel staff entered our room FOUR times without giving us a chance to respond--just a light knock and they'd walk right in. My wife and daughter were walked in on multiple times. On checkout day, my wife returned to the room at 8:30 AM (checkout is noon) and found housekeeping already stripping the bed and folding up the couch like we were gone. She felt so uncomfortable that she left early. The cleaner didn't speak English and couldn't understand her asking them to stop. The front desk was unhelpful, and overall, the stay felt careless and unsanitary. I've been loyal to Hilton for years, but this stay was absolutely unacceptable. Do not stay here. There are way better hotels nearby.

Love that they're done with "single serving" items.

I'm falling out of love with Hilton and their properties/ brands. What was once an enjoyable experience to "get away" for work or leisure has become a roulette wheel of things that will work and things that won't. What worked here: - Great location about 15 minutes south of downtown. Lots of restaurants and shopping options in the immediate area and close to I-25 to get anywhere. - Free, plentiful parking. The lot felt secure and I didn't see any evidence of break ins. - The indoor pool was nice for the kids. Clean and well maintained. - The included breakfast was nice. The folks running it were friendly and the buffet kept full and fresh. - I like that we're leaving "single serving" shampoos and items behind in favor of bulk, mounted products. Less waste. (Weird that there wasn't body wash, though.) What didn't work: - About 1/2 the outlets in the room (329) were dead and didn't work. Makes it hard to plug things in. - Fixtures / outlets are outdated. There isn't a USB charging port in the entire place. You. Red a power block for one of those broken outlets. The fridge sounded like a freight train so we unplugged it. - WEED. Our room reeked of if. Someone in an adjoining room was smoking constantly and reports to the front desk over the 4 days went unheeded. Hilton needs to figure out how to enforce "no smoking" in their hotels. - Semi-flushing toilets. Like the rest of the room, they are dated and don't flush well. 3-4 flushes to get waste and TP down. Beds / mattresses need replaced. My spine could tell you just how many springs are in that double bed. - The AC / heat is controlled by a thermostat designed around the same time as the first Nokia cell phone. It works about the same, too. All in all, a decent visit. With other brands upgrading and building new properties, it's time for Hilton to force some upgrades and refreshes.

Cannot recommend at all. The room was 80 degrees and 20 minutes after turning on the AC it was 83. After trying 2 rooms, I booked another hotel. This was early spring, there's no way a room should be that hot unless HVAC is broken. Location is decent but hotel is outdated and maintenance was not offered. I booked another tried and true hotel. I booked this because it was walking distance to Arapahoe bus station with direct service to the airport.

Where to begin...bed bug bites are active here and was bitten multiple times (six bites and counting) swapped rooms hoping for relief and TBD. I'm a female and was in need of feminine products. Uh, they don't sell any but you can probs get a hot pocket and toss in the micro. Know your audience Embassy Suites. WOMEN. Had to go to the gas station to get pads. It's 2023 peeps!! Get with the times ES. This hotel is outdated. No USB ports... My hairdryer hurt my feelings. Didn't work, tried three different outlets and felt defeated to even ask for another one. ES, get your shit together and get with the times. And women get periods so deal with it and give us ladies access to what we need!! Thanks mucho, a human

Gross, health hazard (fluids in pool, kids not wearing masks)

I understand Covid - I'm a paralegal and I seen as advertised a pool and hot tub available at a three star hotel. My wife is a CNA, and took complete safty and caution. As did I trying our best to enjoy the situation. Trying our best to have respit and be safe. My wife and I wanted a swim. There are few pools open. It was my wife's birthday - and we booked two nights. Night one was a wreck, management yelling at staff, kids under 10 running all throughout the hotel with no masks. My complaint is am upset. And scared, I will visit my Doctor ASAP! 1: Chaos, tons of kids, spitting coughing everywhere. 2: Kind staff working their best! 3: Adult fluids in the pool! (Gross!) No joke look at my reviews, I had to reload this app! Night audit girl would not let us have a late check out during snow storm - but Mngnt? C'mon!!!

There's a free set dinner every night (hot dogs, nachos, and a rotating themed dinner - BBQ, pasta, or fajita) with 3 free adult beverages per adult over 21. The room was clean, smelled good, and was pretty typical for a mid-range hotel. Beds were comfy and plenty of water pressure. The sound proofing was okay (could have been better, but not that bad either) except for the door. The morning breakfast was included and was better, with more choices, than most mid-range hotels. Every staff member we encountered smiled and seemed genuinely happy and friendly. The vibe and positive energy definitely sets this hotel apart from any place I've ever been. The only bummer was that the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance/repair during our visit.

Extremely disappointing stay at what was advertised as a premium Hilton property…read more I was booked at The Inverness Denver for 2 weeks in February 2026 and it was one of the poorest hotel experiences I've had. Within minutes of entering the room, I noticed that the HVAC return air filter was heavily loaded with dust, with visible buildup on both the filter and vent grille. The room also had significant dust accumulation on furniture, lamps, artwork, horizontal surfaces, and behind furniture. The balcony furniture was dirty, the screen door had a hole in it and did not operate properly, and several pieces of furniture and wall surfaces showed noticeable wear. The room simply did not appear to have been properly prepared before check-in. I immediately documented everything with photos and emailed the hotel's guest services team and General Manager. We also spoke with the front desk in person. Rather than offering another room or clearly explaining how the issue would be resolved, I was asked to return later and "check the room" myself after housekeeping finished. When I asked how long my room would be unavailable, I was simply asked, "How long will you be gone today?" Housekeeping replaced the HVAC filter after I complained, but the broader cleanliness issues remained throughout the stay. Dust continued to accumulate on surfaces, and I ultimately brought my own air purifier into the room because the air quality still felt poor. Even after running the purifier continuously, a surprising amount of dust collected on the filter during the two-week stay. Many of my personal belongings accumulated a sizable amount of dust while in the room. Housekeeping quality was also inconsistent. On multiple occasions the bed was not properly made, including repeated instances where the mattress protector/sheet did not fully cover the mattress after housekeeping serviced the room. This happened even after I had already raised concerns about room cleanliness. Communication throughout the stay was equally frustrating. The General Manager never responded directly to my documented concerns. The only acknowledgment was a small gift basket left in the room containing snacks and drink tickets, which did not meaningfully address the issues. There were also multiple communication problems unrelated to cleanliness. I was never informed about vehicle registration or parking procedures during check-in and had to return to the front desk later to ask whether I even needed to register my vehicle. Resort fee charges were also never explained. I was charged $30/night the duration of my stay for a resort fee at booking and staff was unable to explain what benefits were actually included and told me my booking did not include resort credit, regardless of me paying this nightly resort fee. Adding to the frustration, there were unexpected staff interruptions during the stay, including hotel maintenance personnel arriving at my room for issues I had never reported and a luggage cart being delivered to my room that I had never requested. I had hoped this experience would be addressed through Hilton's customer service process before posting a public review, but after exhausting those avenues, I felt it was important to share my experience so future guests can make an informed decision.

There are no plastic bags in the trash receptacles so that gets pretty nasty if you have stinky trash or diapers. I heard a lady ask for a trash bag at the front desk because she needed one for diapers. When we walked in I was instantly brought back to 1975, the carpet was ripping at the seams, there were endless stains on the walls, hairs under the sheets, mold next to the fridge, a pubic hair on the toilet!!!!! Etc!! There were so many things wrong with this room especially the fact that we paid $200 for it. When we took over 30+ photos of the room we presented them to the manager Angelina Ross, who in reality seemed like she could care LESS. She assured us we will be given another "better" room, well after almost 45 minutes she came back to show us the new rooms with all the same problems. Stains on the walls & rips at the seams of the carpet, all of which she insisted was inevitable & natural "wear & tear" of the rooms here. I wish I was joking.
