Checked into this hotel as it's central to downtown. Came in at 10 pm so was very quiet in the lobby area. It's was decorated for the winter festivities. Though it's an older hotel, it was clean and staff was kind. Parking lot wasn't too full but it was also mid week. Has gym and indoor pool so that was nice. I had an excellent stay at this hotel earlier this week. The facilities are top notch, with an excellent gym, pool and coffee shop on the premises. They also have a superb restaurant (Root 25) which I will review separately. My premier king room was on a corner and was spacious, with floor to ceiling wraparound windows, a large desk to work on with convenient charging, a comfortable bed, and a sofa and coffee tables. Plus there was a closet plus chest of drawers where I could store my clothes, an ironing board, fridge and safe. Price was reasonable - an average of $190 per night before tax (daily rates ranged from $163 to $223). Finally, the Perks cafe in the lobby was open long hours and meet my daily matcha latte and breakfast needs. Will be back for sure next time I'm working out of our Denver office. read more

Nice hotel! It feels a little isolated as there is not much to see within walking distance, but you can take the metro if you want.  I really liked my room (817), for the most part. I love the size, full couch, refrigerator, etc. But the bed was broken down. If you laid on the right side, it sunk. And if you rolled to the middle, you could feel the "grade" (higher up and firmer). It impeded my sleep quality, as I woke up every time the mattress grade & firmness level changed. So poor sleep. It was very quiet which is very important to me. Food was good (conference). Good service. Good front desk service too. I did have a couple of mugs and a plate in my room. I stacked them near the coffee maker was. Housekeeping just moved them outside my door, where they sat for over 24 hours. Other hotels remove that kind of stuff routinely. In addition, someone had dropped a cracker in the middle of the hallway on floor 8. It sat there for days, as people would step on it and it'd crack more. So, improvement is needed in this area. I had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency, as my bed was comfy, clean and had all the amenities I needed for a well rested stay! My favorite feature of this hotel is their gym, as they have everything you need for a great workout on your trip - they have two stationary bikes (one being peloton), and a few treadmills and elliptical machines for cardio. They also had a pull up bar, cable machine, and dumbbells going over 50lbs. Staff was friendly, check in was smooth, and they have a small cafe/coffee shop where you can get snacks, drinks and breakfast at. read more

Our flight was delayed. It was raining. We were stuck in traffic. When we finally arrived at the Hyatt Regency, we were exhausted. All we wanted was to fall into a comfy bed. This was an extended trip, a variety of events, a variety of climates. We had more luggage than usual. We checked in, grabbed a cart and slowly pushed our load to our room. Upon opening our door, a very strong odor of cigarette smoke hit us in the face. Back downstairs, pushing the unwieldy cart. New room. Another sluggish walk to our room. Opened the door - a double, not the king that I paid for. I failed to add that I broke my foot the day before - I was in a walking boot to my knee. I was just ready to rest. I was willing to just keep the double. My husband was not happy. Another slog back downstairs. This time we were upgraded to a larger room. One more trip back upstairs. This time it was a musty smell that hit us. One wall was mostly covered in heavy drapes that obviously needed a good washing. Whatever. It was only 4 nights. I was ready for bed. While setting up my CPAP, I realized that I had forgotten to buy distilled water. No problem. We had bottled water. That would work. When I turned on my machine, I was hit with a weird smell - I just figured it was the water. It wasn't the water - when I did use distilled water, the smell was still there. The mustiness had permeated the nightstand, that's what I was smelling. Strangely, there was a plug on only one side of the bed. Luckily, I always carry an extension cord which we stretched across the headboard so my husband could plug in his electronics. The rest of the stay was uneventful but next time we're visiting the area, we will definitely stay elsewhere. read more

Had a 2-night stay at the Hyatt Regency for a business event and it was good. Fairly standard hotel room equipped with a small fridge, safe, single-serve coffee maker and hair dryer. It was the season for Asian Lady Beetles, and there were two crawling around on my ceiling. The bed was comfortable and the AC unit worked well. Thin carpets and the shower was pretty standard. Unfortunately, there is no microwave for anything you may want to heat up for a snack or meal, so you'll have to choose a restaurant closeby or eat at the restaurant in the hotel. The lobby and main spaces were nicely decorated, staff is super friendly, the gym feels private and is well equipped and the paid parking structure is conveniently attached to a hallway that takes you straight to the lobby. The conference rooms were large and spacious to accommodate any business event and the breakfast bar had some great options with juice and coffee as well. Overall, I wouldn't necessarily stay here for a personal stay as it is in the heart of Denver Tech Center and a majority of the people I saw were there for business trips as well. However, it is a well taken care of property and is a convenient place to stay if you have business to attend to in the area. read more

I convinced my hubby to stay at the Hyatt Regency because I've had such nice experiences in other cities. This one not so much. We arrived on a Thursday at about 10:30 am. We were informed that we would be charged a $25 early check in fee. What?!?! Who does that? The room was sitting empty anyways. I've never had a hotel anywhere do this. Strike one. The hotel is about 12 stories tall. They have 5 elevators, but of course the one with the glass windows was out of service for most of our stay. We get up to our room, 903, and the first thing that hits me is the smell. Some sort of cleaning product has been used and has a horrible lingering effect. I was tempted to change rooms. After our flight and the drive to the hotel, I wanted to use the bathroom. I walked in and looked for the light switch. I couldn't find one. We called down to the front desk to learn that the mirror is the light for the bathroom. Oh brother. So you're telling me I have to shower and do everything in the dim light? Which also means no fan. Might I also point out that this is clearly an older property in dire need of remodeling. Which leads me to my next point.....the height of the toilet, or lack there of. I felt like I was doing squats every time I had to go. Strike two. We went off to adventure and came back at the end of the day to a very hot room. There is a tiny space in the corner of the room where the vent is and it is not adequate to keep the room comfortable. We had the fan on high and the temp at the lowest setting so when we got back it would be nice and cool. Nope. Lesson learned. Close all drapes before you leave for the day. Those windows act as big magnifying glasses cooking the interior. Our 2nd day we returned to the room after a day of adventure and the bed was not made, the trash not emptied and no coffee cups. I promptly called down to the front desk and your associate Daniel proceeded to tell me that it was because I had the "do not disturb" sign on the door. NOPE I tell him. I don't use that. He says " well next time don't put that on the door". Are you kidding me??? I just told you I didn't use that. And if that was the case, why did the made come in and replenish our towels?!?! Learn some customer service! Strike three! You won't be able to get wifi in that room. I'm very disappointed in this property and that it has the Hyatt name. Wonderful hotel located at the Denver Tech Center. This is a bit of a drive from Downtown Denver, so there is not as much to do around the area for sightseeing, but there are still some options if you have a car for outside restaurants and businesses. We checked in here on a Wednesday evening and everything went smoothly. There was a little bit of a hiccup with the front desk bringing up a baby crib for us that we hired from an external vendor. The front desk lady sent us a card with some complimentary drink vouchers as an apology for the wait. The room itself was an oversized king which was very spacious. All the standard amenities you would expect at a Hyatt Regency hotel-mini fridge, coffee machine, etc. I appreciated the large sofa and coffee table and even a sound machine by the nightstand. Hotel restaurant is called Root25 and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Servers are all super friendly and have great food. The hotel itself has a decent fitness center, indoor covered pool, large conference centers, coffee shop that serves pastries, drinks, and has lots of food for purchase. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service up to 3 miles vicinity for hotel guests, which is a nice perk if you want to go somewhere close by. This definitely makes for a pleasant stay if you are in the area! read more

We were briefly in front of the hotel with our car, dropping off a guest of this hotel. We never even got out of our vehicle. We just got a $75 parking violation in the mail that says "no payment/Registration". Our registration is current and there's no way we were there for more than 5 minutes. We were giving a ride to one of their guests. This is ridiculous. Now I have to take my time to clear this up. I was able to look the phone number up for the third-party company that Hyatt uses to issue these parking violations. This information is not on the violation I received in the mail. I had to leave a message. I couldn't even talk to anyone. When I called the hotel, they said I would have to go through this third-party company to clear up their mistake. read more

We had such a pleasant stay at Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center. The room was spacious, quiet, comfy bed, hot water with great shower-head pressure, convenient keyless entry, fluffy towels and cozy robes with matching slippers. The location is not too far from the airport, downtown or any arena of your choosing. The staff were professional and pleasant although we had no reason to interact with them much. Four stars because there is only one restaurant in the hotel and rooms do not have a microwave and there is none available for use on the property. Not a deal breaker but good to know is for those of you who frequently use one when traveling. There is a mini store and a cafe in addition to the restaurant but still for a hotel that size one would expect more options. read more

I stay at the Hyatt in the Denver Tech Center area whenever I'm visiting for work. The Hyatt is about 20 mins from the Denver airport so not a bad commute. After a long flight, I just wanted to get to my room and go to bed. The first time I stayed here, check in was smooth and easy. I stayed for a whole week. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating, she made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Shortly after settling in, the power goes out. I called down to the front desk and they said they were working on it but the power didn't come back on till the next day in the evening. Definitely not fun trying to navigate around your room in the dark. The rest of my stay was pleasant. I definitely appreciated housekeeping, they were consistent with cleaning up the room and making sure the water was stocked. My room also had a stunning view, you can see the mountains as well. The hotel also has a restaurant/bar located on the 2nd floor. The staff is really friendly and their menu offers many choices for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is also served started at 6 am. In the lobby, there's also a little shop called The Perks. You can order coffee, matcha, etc. in the morning. They also carry on the go snacks. My 2nd stay here was far from perfect. I arrived later in the evening and was ready to get into my room to relax. Thankfully there was another associate at the front desk to check me in. Things were going well until they wanted to charge me $700 for incidentals. $700??? The most I've ever paid for incidentals was $200! My room was already prepaid so I'm not sure why it was such a high number. The previous time I stayed at the Hyatt I was only charged $200 for incidentals so there is no reason why the amount should be $700 for only 2 nights. I would rather stay at another establishment since there always seems like there will be another problem. read more

The desserts here are awesome and they do a great job with the bar service and helping people get to the right location (usually 12th floor). Booked our stay for 3 nights. The first night they were kind enough to accommodate a late check in after 3AM. We called ahead of time to inform them our flight kept l being delayed and they made sure the staff knew we'd be showing up after typical check in time. Getting in after 3AM, exhausted, all I wanted to do was get into that bed but pulling back the sheets I noticed there was brown specs stuck to the sheets with what looked like pieces of toilet paper or paper towels. I stripped the sheet off to find some brown residue smeared on the comforter. We called down for a new room and they promptly gave us new clean room for the remainder of our stay. Other than that our stay was great. They have Smart TVs with Netflix but you have to log in to your own account. There are outlets throughout the room, had a nice view of the mountains in the distance and had a couch. The bathroom has real bad under lighting that does not make for good makeup. For my ladies, I suggest you take the standing mirror to the couch and let some sun in. Our coffee machine was broke...but they do have Perks downstairs that serves Starbucks and there is a Black Rock Coffee within 3 minute walking distance. YOU HAVE TO EAT AT ROOT25 during your stay at some point and try the Double Smash Burger. Delicious, they have a new chef and I can tell the staff was very proud of that. read more

the Hotel itself was not in itself bad ...what was bad was the ticket I received from their parking garage T Park support for $80 . this supposedly was for violating their parking policy of paying for parking. Paying for parking is not bad; however, $80 for it is; however when the front desk at the hotel does not tell you or ask you if you are parking there and, then when you ask where to park, they actually tell you, you can park anywhere outside the building (including the garage) and when you do park they give you a violation (that is their term). In any case I will NEVER stay at this Hyatt Regency. I wish I had read the other comments about parking there ... I won't be now and I will tell all my friends and aqaintences to stay away as well... read more

We decided to spend Valentines evening in DTC mainly because all of our evening plans were in the area. We had stayed in the area for concerts and other celebrations in the past and though knowing it's mostly a business area, thought it would be nice to stay at a clean hotel. The minute we walked down the hall to our room, there was a giant trash can in the middle of the hall where there was a water leak. We kind of shrugged this off until we came back from our valentines plans to put our leftovers up to find our fridge was leaking. We went to the concierge and they offered to change rooms (which we didn't feel up to at 9 at night) or send up a new fridge. We chose the latter. Once maintenance came up, he informed us that house keeping turn the fridges off when they clean and he'd get some towels. We now had to wait for him to come back and had we not known the fridge was off, our expensive dinner would've spoiled. Will not be staying here again! read more

We visited the Hyatt in Tech Center for a conference and it was an interesting experience for a bunch of reasons. 1. There's no overhead lights in the bathroom, only mirror lights, so when you take a shower it's pretty dark in there 2. There is nowhere in the hotel where you can buy water if the coffee shop isn't open. They have water in the rooms which is overpriced, but no drinks in their vending machines. 3. The coffee shop downstairs is . . . Not great. They usually have one person running it and it takes a very long time for them to take orders. They somehow take orders slower than they make drinks. The food available was an eclectic variety. I appreciated the presence of breakfast pastries and sandwiches although I didn't eat them, that is until Saturday when I found myself needing a breakfast sandwich more than anything in the world only to learn that they didn't have any. 4. The restaurant (root 25) left a lot to be desired (I left another review there so I won't harp on it) 5. The wifi was AWFUL. I haven't seen wifi this bad at a hotel in a long time, and if they host conferences, it's pretty unacceptable to have no network. 6. The air handling systems were somehow as loud as they were inconsistent. In some rooms there was a loud humming and in others it was silent. In one corner of a room, it might be freezing cold, while it's sweltering 10 feet away. 7. The first redeeming quality; the catered lunch we ate on the second day was absolutely delicious from the salad to the cheesecake 8. The second redeeming quality; the top floor hall was a lovely place for our opening reception All this to say that we really did have an awesome conference, but this was far from my favorite hotel we've stayed at. I came in here for a late night drink after having two drinks and trying to cash out I was proposed with a check that I signed giving my card for and the run on that about 5 to 10 minutes later I was approached with another bill and told that the first one was for my room bill and now I was approached with another bill, these bartenders are incompetent when it comes to billing and understanding who is buying what very disappointing because the customer service was good, but the was I had signed multiple bills for one tab. read more

Very nice hotel welcoming staff. We booked our room through Costco and price was very good. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Has a nice size pool and a very good bar and restaurant on the premises. Plenty of parking and a nice juice bar/coffee shop down stairs in the lobby, with lots of assorted snacks, candies, chips, ice cream etc. It's a fair bit outside central Denver so if staying here you definitely need a car or an Uber/Lyft account. read more

I was in town for a conference, and this was one of the suggested hotels for our two day stay. The group rate was reasonable, and was what I expected to pay for a hotel of this magnitude. Check in was quick and painless. The representative was friendly and helpful by letting us know about all of the amenities, the restaurant options, the shuttle bus details and she gave us the weather report for the weekend. The lobby is nice and vibrant. There's a complimentary fruit infused water station which was nice and refreshing. There's an indoor pool, several restaurants w/ room service, a gift shop, a small store in the lobby that offers grab and go items along with Starbucks drinks and fresh fruit. I had a room on the 8th floor, with an amazing view! The room was spacious and comfortable, and came with everything a standard room would have; iron, hair dryer, coffee machine & toiletries. I found the mattress to be extremely comfortable which made for a good nights rest! We ordered room service and it came in less than 20 minutes. My salad was great, but my friends fish tacos were not. We called to inform them that we were not satisfied, and they offered to bring her something else but she declined. They took her meal off of the bill, and sent up some free dessert to compensate! I'm not sure about the parking here because we used Uber during our stay. Cons: the walls are paper thin! Also, it was extremely difficult getting someone from the front desk on the phone. We had to call several times before someone picked up! Decent. We opted for this one as a more safe quiet area. We stayed 4 nights. Definitely an older Hyatt once you're in the rooms. Needs to be dusted top to bottom better and more throughly cleaned. I wish I brought my slippers because the carpet grossed me out. No valet either, but the parking is right out front! Across from us someone left their food outside their door for over 24 hours which was disgusting. I was surprised nobody had been by to pick it up.. I assume these are due to short staffing but not a big deal. * You can ask the receptionist to open the shop if you need anything when they're closed. We were able to get snacks and stuff late at night. They did have a security guard outside every night we were there. He was also wandering inside the hotel on our floor for hours which was weird... anyways, nice staff, a Starbucks and restaurants close by! read more

They definitely have a managerial gap with the maintenance team. I will never stay here again. My family and I were visiting Denver for my youngest daughter's graduation from college. My eldest daughter and her kids arrived around 2am after a long day of traveling. They went immediately to their room and went to sleep. I came over to their room around 10 am which happened to be across the hall from my room. I immediately noticed the water damage on the ceiling, after further inspection we saw that there were water stains on the floors and there were stains on the pillows. She had order breakfast for her kids, she allowed them to eat in my room, while she packed up her stuff to get another room. She went to the front desk to complain and get another room, she was immediately given another room. The girl at the front desk offered her free breakfast and said when the manager comes in, my daughter would get a discount on her room. Problem solved, so we thought. My daughter checked into her new room and someone else called from the front desk, very hostile. Told my daughter she would not receive the breakfast that she had ordered previously for free, but she will receive vouchers for breakfast for the remainder of the stay. My daughter went to the front desk to ask about this with her kids, at this time they told her she would have to wait for the manager that would be coming in at 3:30. A free breakfast was not my daughter's idea, it was the young lady at the front desk. So, she didn't understand why they were taken the offer back. When the manager came in, he called my daughter and said the hotel would not be giving her any compensation, because the girl at the front desk said she was aggressive and using profanity. When I went down to speak to the manager, he repeated this to me. when I asked for examples of the profanity and aggression used, he couldn't tell me. He said he didn't ask his staff those questions. He was very apologetic for the condition of the room, but didn't compensate anything, not even breakfast. A good manager would have taken off the first night stay, since she came in at 2am and slept in a moldy, damp and dirty room with small children, He tried to say it was a miscommunication between Maintenace and the front desk, but who should pay for that, my daughter. read more

I thought it was really nice the customer service is great the beds were comfy the rooms were clean the breakfast was awesome $21 for a buffet breakfast or they would have a different menu if you did not want the buffet very reasonable free parking and they have valet parking. We did eat at the root for dinner and it was not the best I ordered the salmon it was so overcooked it was hard it came with the broccolini which was also very hard the mashed potatoes was okay. The worst experience at a hotel I've ever had. We stayed here during New Years and we dealt with: - No AC - Both our cards being hit with hundreds of $$$ of unexplained pending charges that stayed on for weeks. - Extremely loud neighbors, and us having to call 5 times past midnight to do something about it. - Our neighbors trying to break into our room when they finally sent ONE security guy up. Security didn't even do anything. - Finally saying they're going to upgrade us to a different room in the middle of the night to get away from the loud neighbors, just to move and it be the exact same room. - Asked twice for towels at the pool, never came. We stayed at the Hyatt DTC on May 27-28, 2017. We won a free stay from the Denver bridal show held at the hotel earlier this year. For something that was supposed to be a reward and prize to celebrate our engagement, we did not feel celebrated the entire time, and the staff was uninformed about how to redeem any part of our prize. We were never once offered a congratulations nor did the staff make any effort to go above and beyond since we are planning a wedding and could have been viewing this hotel as a potential venue! When we first checked in, I showed the front desk our gift certificate and we were given coupons for the breakfast buffet. I don't recall this woman's name, as there was a serious language barrier and I did not understand most of our exchange. Another staff member came over and said because we were there on a gift certificate, he would upgrade our room (again, no congratulations or mention of the bridal show). Before upgrading our room, the front desk staff failed to look at our existing reservation, which was an ADA room by request. When we got to the "upgraded" room, which did NOT feel like an upgrade at all, my fiancé who is a wheelchair user, discovered he could not even comfortably use the bathroom independently, or even fit in enough to shut the door. We debated for a short time, before we decided this was UNACCEPTABLE. If we were here for a reward stay, we both needed to be comfortable and not sacrifice our needs for a mediocre "upgrade." I walked down to the front desk, and spoke with the gentleman who "upgraded" our room and explained that in doing so, he had taken away our requested ADA room and the upgrade would not work for us. He said he "didn't even look at the reservation," and gave me a key to another room on a different floor and told me to "Let them know what I decided to do." He did not escort me to the new room or offer to assist with moving our bags to the new room. He also apparently never communicated to anyone that we may be switching rooms, which ultimately I believe caused the chaos. We were not offered any other sort of upgrade or an apology, since the "upgraded room" clearly would not meet our needs. Long story short, this resulted in chaos and our "romantic welcome" of champagne and strawberries to be delivered to the wrong room. Dinner was mediocre. The food was fine, but our waiter was clueless about the beer menu ("Yea I've never tried that....Sorry.") and never brought our appetizer we ordered- which was brought later and was comped. The restaurant was also freezing, even though we were nowhere near a door or window. The next morning we were excited for our free breakfast included in our prize package, and this TOO turned into a HUGE headache. We were given coupons for the buffet upon check in, but our prize said free breakfast in the restaurant or room service, so there was no way it was exclusively for the buffet. Our waitress, Mary, who seemed annoyed when we presented the letter and coupons said she would sort it out, and came back saying she had documentation of three different things- The coupons, the free breakfast on the letter and free breakfast for ONE. Finally we were just able to order off of the menu and breakfast was good! I had 2 bloody Marys which were mediocre at best. After our plates were cleared Mary brought our check, and then disappeared and never came back. There was ONE other table occupied at this point) which I found odd for a Sunday morning of a long weekend, while there were two events going on in the hotel. We were planning on paying with a credit card, as we did not want to put anything on the room since it was A FREE STAY! Mary puttered around, including going into the private event space where there was NOBODY SITTING and avoided us entirely. We waited literally ONE HOUR before we decided to put the meal on the room so we could just leave. I checked out on my phone and we left the hotel. I am VERY disappointed in this whole experience and do not plan on returning. We are no longer considering the Hyatt DTC as a wedding venue, and we will tell our out of town guests to stay away! If you are going to offer a free night as a prize at statewide bridal shows, the staff needs some serious training in customer service and how to make your guests feel honored and celebrated. I have liked Hyatts in the past, and found them to be leaders in ADA compliance. This stay has made me reconsider staying in all Hyatts in the future. read more

I have been here for seven nights. I am an event planner and we had a meeting here this week. Warning for travelers - on the weekends there is no sundry shop. You cannot buy water or aspirin or anything. Throughout the week the lobby has kept two large containers of nice ice water filled so that gas can fill their water bottles or get a cup of water at any time. I ran out of bottled water in the room. I asked the person working at the front desk if the water jugs were going to be filled because they were both completely empty. She said they would not be filled because there was no Bellman on staff. I asked her where I could buy water and she said there was no where to buy water. I would have to go out to buy water. I asked her if I could get waters for my room like from housekeeping. She bought three bottles of water out and said she had to charge them to my room. I asked her why I had to be charged for bottles of water when there's no place like a vending machine or Sundays place to buy them and they're supposed to offer free water in the lobby. She told me I should've gone out to buy a case of water. I told her that I'm I have been here all week for an event that I planned for my company and that I don't have a car with me. She told me she would charge them to my room and walked away. This is a Hyatt Regency, I know it's not a four seasons, but they should have a sundry shop available to buy medicine and bottled water as needed. She was very ignorant and a little rude. I think the less than here is traveling now in The United States, at least is not as it used to be and that you really have to fend for yourself 100%. Even if you're paying hundreds of dollars to stay in a nice hotel. If a hotel this nice cannot staff it appropriately then they should not book all of their rooms. They should have enough staff to service the guests that are here. read more

Simply outstanding. I'm over the moon and feel so lucky! Special thanks to our reservations agent, Sean O'Connor, for the kindest welcome letter we will have framed and making our stay extra special at the Hyatt Regency. We've been spoiled with the gorgeous upgraded suite, delicious chocolate covered strawberries (better than Godiva), and a bottle of Cava to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary. We really could feel the love! The DTC surrounding area is so gorgeous in the fall, perfect for taking a stroll and admiring the colorful leaves. At the hotel there's also a super fun ping pong table we played all day and evening, board games, outdoor lounge and games with a fire pit, indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi at just the right temperature, including a fitness center. I enjoyed the outdoor seating area in front of the hotel cafe as well. I can't wait to come back again. read more

We enjoyed a delicious Mother's Day breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center. Meals were delicious and plentiful. The stars there are their staff and wait staff: helpful, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended. read more

We had a negative experience from arrival to departure. On arrival, at approximately 9:00 pm we pulled in the drive to check -in. We were greeted with, "you need to move your car... with instructions on how to get to the "free parking" garage. We unloaded the luggage and checked in with a request for a king room. My wife was "escorted"- hurriedly upstairs while explaining that I would not know the location of the room as I had to park the car. The response from the valet/bellhop said "text the room number." When I arrived back at the lobby, with my hands full, I had to find someone to ask what room we had been assigned. Upon arrival to the room, we had been given an ADA room after asking for a king room. Terrible layout... the shelf in the bathroom was about 5" deep, only one outlet (right next to the shower), sandpaper toilet paper and tissues, and the in mirror clock off by 5 hours, 10 minutes --- unacceptable. The eggs Benedict were subpar as were the pancakes .. 55$ breakfast !!! The waitstaff at our firm party were not able to identify items other than to say what type of meat was in the passed appetizers. We stayed for 4 nights - on the afternoon of the third day, we arrived back to our room with a note IN THE ROOM that said despite iur request for privacy, the property policy is to enter the room at least every 24 hours!!! We felt very vulnerable knowing people had been in our room even though we had requested no service and had specifically asked for privacy ! Upon check-out, I was asked to give HYATT a chance to "provise (sic) better, next time." Attached is a picture of the overloaded outlet in the room. Overall a very poor reflection on Hyatt properties. read more
