We stopped by on a family trip and had more or less the typical Embassy Suites experience. I've always loved their omelettes at breakfast and that was a hit once again. We were staying for one night, and our room was in the corner on the first floor--comfortable, quiet and exactly what we needed. Upon check in, the front desk also provided us with bottled water and a snack (mix of chocolate, trail mix, etc.) Breakfast was delicious but we woke up late and got there with 20 minutes to spare, so we were able to get omelettes, milk, and whatever else we needed. They are pretty quick to close things up so be sure to get there in time! read more

When staying at a hotel, one of the things that bother me most is extreme outside noise. A couple sources of it were extremely thin walls & road noise. Thin walls: I read previous reviews where it was mentioned, "it sounded like kids doing cannon balls", etc. So I made sure to book the top (4th) floor for my 5-night stay. Oh my, without even having anyone above, it sure sounded like! I couldn't believe guests walking in neighboring rooms could sound so loud from mine (and sound like they were coming from above, which wasn't possible). Additionally, I lost lots of sleep as I could clearly hear my neighbors conversations each night, past midnight. They were speaking at a normal level too! Road Noise: To add on to picking a room location with no upstairs neighbors, I assumed the more quiet side of the building would face Newhall Ranch Rd. rather than I5. Well, that road was extremely loud too... I'd hate to hear what it would be like facing I5! TIP for parking: I read a review that they were charged even for street parking. That is that reviewers fault. During my 5-nights, I parked on the street (culdesac) nightly, saving the $15/night. You only pay for parking if you accept their parking pass! I couldn't believe how it seemed just myself and 1 or 2 others parked on the street (it's safe). It's not like the hotel parking is gated and it is footsteps from the street parking. Heck, street parking is can actually be closer to the entrance than most of the hotel parking! Laundry: Dryer #2 is a money sucker! Fortunately the contractor who operates the machine is responsive & reimbursed me quickly. But it was a major inconvenience as I was prepping to pack and having to wait for the 2nd of 2 dryers in the room to become available. It took 3 attempts to dry 1 load. Staff should take the machine "Out of Order" until the contractor fixes it! Appearance: from the outside & all aspects of the interior until you get in the elevator, this hotel looks pretty nice. But once those elevator doors open to your floor, you're in a different world. The hallways were so dark & gloomy and I often thought how it looked like a haunted hotel. Fortunately I didn't notice any odd odors in the stretch of hallway to my room but when I ventured through other areas, there were some real pungent odors. Overall solid hotel for a quick night's stay otw back from our LA trip. Location was close to the freeway, prices were decent, rooms were spacious and there's free breakfast. I booked a few king suites via booking.com and embassy suites was able to update them to double beds for no extra charge, which was ideal for our party of 5 adults and a toddler. $15/day for parking. There's a small convenience store with some snacks and beverages, a bar/restaurant with central guest seating in the heart of the restaurant. We were able to get some free drink tickets to use at the bar before 6:30p. My toddler enjoyed the big Christmas tree display in the lobby. Rooms and beds were comfortable but the furniture esp the couches could use a cleaning/reupholstery, the bathtub had some rust and there was an intermittent blinking light in our room. The breakfast was above average - I'd recommend the omelet station. They also have apples, bananas, yogurt, bread, cold cereal and oatmeal, hot food -scrambled eggs, waffle sticks, breakfast potatoes. The blossoms restaurant has ok food- we got the chicken wings, tacos, Caesar salad, and the quesadilla. We didn't get to try the pool- too cold and rainy- but recommend staying here if you want to cover some mileage before heading back to the bay! read more

Third crap stay at a Hilton property in a month. Property not full but no upgrades available for gold. Yeah I am kinda a dick for playing that card but seriously. Front desk basically told me rooms were available (I also checked their website) but gave me an excuse something about their system so not doing upgrades. Did tell me it's always good to ask. Gave me two waters for four guests checking in...single fellow in front of me got four, hmm just me? Did offer TWO snacks from the snack box since I was a gold...I took three just because, think he saw but didn't say anything. Should have offered a water and snack to everyone in the party. Zero for guest service. Room was clean, property was clean, pool/spa was good, breakfast above average, bed comfortable, reception meh (I say that because I don't like Bud Light, up charge for anything decent)...check in experience was unfortunate. Oh and they charged me $15 to park on the street outside the hotel (yeah, seriously...parallel parked there to avoid door dings, plus all spaces on front side were filled...surprise...that will be $15 to park on our street.) Wonder what the charge is if you park in their parking lot...just sayin...Counted three tip jars around the breakfast area (so you don't miss an opportunity to tip) but breakfast attendants did give excellent service. I know i am being kinda crummy but it started with the checkin experience. So...Yeah, third time was a charm...back to Marriott...except for the stay I already have booked in Texas, too late to change...I understand why they don't do guest satisfaction surveys...hehe...three star property with a one star checkin... read more

I was very glad this hotel had a room available. I tried to reserve a room on the app but internet was not working that well while we were driving. Plus we were only here 1 night and it was great. We got there late, and were hungry. Unfortunately the food closed down when we got there. So we needed to go out for food. There is a lot of construction going on so there were some on ramps closed. We got food though. The room was nice, standard king room with a living room area. The door to the bathroom was a little wonky, and I noticed there wasn't a place or hook to put my towel when I took a shower. The breakfast in the morning was decent. There was definitely space to move around to get the food and we like the seating area. Overall a good stay. read more

worst embassy suites I've personally been to. This hotel has completely ignored the standards because they get a lot of kids due to being right next to six flags. The carpet in the room was super dirty. This is not a normal embassy suites, this is a kids resort. Do not stay here if you are expecting a regular embassy suites. The breakfast was also the worst from embassy suites, if you like their omelets you're in luck because that's all they have even at 6am! What a joke, save yourself money and stay at motel 6! We called down 6 times because kids were literally jumping off the bed doing cannon balls into the floor. The hotel did nothing to fix it because this is a kids resort. read more

3.5/5 We stayed here over MDW since it was the only place that could fit our big group. The room had a good setup with multiple beds and a sofa bed, but the beds were SO uncomfortable. None of us slept well, and the kids hated the couch bed. It seriously felt like sleeping on metal springs! I will say the room smelled super clean and can tell housekeeping did their job. We tried the breakfast and honestly, I'd rather grab an Egg McMuffin at McD. Also, if you're heading to Magic Mountain, heads up the trolley wasn't running during our trip. We ended up taking an Uber, which was actually cheaper than parking and dropped us off right at the front. Cost about $30 round trip and way less hassle. read more

Situated somewhere between hotel and motel are places like Courtyard by Marriott and Embassy Suites. I stayed at the Valencia property of Embassy Suites. Overall rating of 2, indicates that this was a hardly acceptable (and thankfully unexceptional stay.) Furniture in the room is close to needing replacement and the fabric on the couch was threadbare and worn. The toilet wins the prize as lowest I've ever sat on. It was like a child's training potty. Temperature kept fluctuating and the AC unit was fairly noisy. Sleeping was difficult due to the overly soft bed and unsupportive pillows. Also, a flashing series of lights disturbed the dark, no doubt from the smoke alarm. Cleanliness wasn't too bad, but the tables had dust on them. The room had an ever present smell of cigarettes. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room!! All in all this was a low end experience in terms of service speed, room quality and value vs price. There are plenty of better options out there. But, if you must have a place to sleep over for a night, this dump still beats most motel choices. 2 star rating. read more

He said they were in guests' rooms, but didn't make the effort to get another employee to see if he could round one up. He apparently doesn't care about making a good first impression! I have nothing bad to say about this place. It's an old building. But they keep it very clean. There's free breakfast starting at 6 a.m. The hotel is close to a lot of great restaurants, but the location itself is off the Main Street and quiet. I stayed here for two nights and it was lovely. It's been a while since I've felt so comfortable in a hotel room. I would definitely stay here again. read more

Checking in was a breeze and the customer service great, they offer 2 free alcoholic drinks or non-alcoholic during happy hour between 5pm-7pm. They also offer snacks; goldfish, carrots, celery, ranch, chips, salsa and nacho cheese. It wasn't much but it was great knowing we didn't expect it. We had plans with friends for dinner, if we didn't already make reservations, I would've stayed for dinner. Stayed on the 4th floor room 413, came in clutch since it was an ADA room and my partner would have had a hard time getting in and out of the tub, since our other friends were also in the hotel (I personally suggested) I noticed how much bigger our room was! Missing a star because the breakfast could have been better, I noticed the chafing dishes were new but why wasn't the food hot? I did like the create your own omelet station which came with bacon and hashbrown again, food could've been hotter. Great service from the cooks! Also, there was an odd smell in the hotel, other than old and outdated lol but it came on very strong. The hotel is old but for the most part up kept. The pool and hot tub looked really dirty from our room on the second floor but when we walked near it noticed it was just the plaster was in need of resurfaced. The breakfast table much is the main reason I spend more more to stay at embassy was mediocre, if you like eggs the omelette bar, scrambled eggs were ok but the waffle sticks and potatoes were dry and overcooked. They no longer serve any breakfast meat due to the cost, however the website still boasts they serve sausage, bacon and is a key part to the embassy experience. We have stayed at several Embassy Suites and this one is THE WORST! When we checked in the gentleman was nice but did not give us any info on the hotel. My husband asked about the cards we usually get from other locations for breakfast and parking. He said we did not need anything. I went to the car later that evening and saw parking permits on all the other cars dashboards. So I had to go back in to ask for one. When we got into the room it was dingy. That room has not been deep cleaned since the building of it in 2007! The shower head had orange build up, there was hair all over the bathroom floor, the couch was old and dirty and had fraying in several spots, the mirrors were streaky and have not had any cleaning solution put to them ever, there was a scratch on the TV, the fire detectors flash all night long in the living room and bedroom, the bedroom bed was not that comfortable we woke up several times throughout the night, the pull out sofa bed was worn down to a pancake and was so uncomfortable. You have to sleep with your head where your feet should go as the bed has an incline (unless you want to sleep in the Trendelenburg position), the AC is extremely loud, the hallways smell like feces every morning coming back from breakfast which is so nauseating. Speaking of breakfast, it was ok. Not much of a selection. Scrambled eggs, potatoes and mini pancakes. Everything is room temperature. There is no breakfast meat out you have to ask for it. They do have muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal and fruit as well. The omelettes were good as they are freshly made. The cook was being fake nice. The staff seemed bothered about guests getting breakfast for free. Don't offer it then! You aren't allowed to bring your food up to your room which is ridiculous! It felt like I was at a low budget motel for a high price. It is close to Six Flags so that's a plus if you're visiting there. Although there are plenty of other hotels to stay in that are much better. We will never stay at this location again. read more

We stayed here a couple times before whenever we visit magic mountain. The price is expensive and I believe somewhere in there they add breakfast. Breakfast is key for me here. Endless amount of breakfast from 7am-10am. Good food. The rooms are clean and for the cost its probably a little over priced but gets the job done for the stay. I have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times in the last 10 years. Sure, it's in need of a facelift, but it's the people working here who make the stay worth it. The front desk was so polite and helpful after we stumbled in after a 12 hour drive. My glasses had broken and that was the last straw for me. They let me use tape to repair my glasses and offered to check if they had told that could fix things. Whenever we needed extra towels or supplies, we usually got them within 5 minutes of asking. The lady running the omelette station is the VIP. I forgot to ask for her name, but after a few days, she greeted me with a huge smile and a cordial greeting in Spanish. She had my omelette order memorized and always remembered to give me extra bacon or sausage for the kids. Personal touches like these keep me coming back. The beds were comfortable, but the sofa bed was loud and rickety. If you sneezed while sitting on it, it sounded like you were making a porno. The pillows definitely needed to be replaced, but I was so exhausted every night that things worked as it. Parking was always ample even though it cost $12/night, but there is plenty of street parking so you don't have to pay. The omelette is what keeps me coming back because I am no novice in the kitchen, but man, I cannot replicate this omelette to save my life. I only give this a 4 star because the hotel needs to be upgraded a bit. However, everything is functional in the room for basic needs of staying at a hotel. The televisions in the room and the lack of USB outlets is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, we had a great staycation!the staff was very friendly and attentive. The evening reception and the bar and grill were a much needed treat. The food is delicious! The bartender switched the channel for us and played music on the speakers for what we liked. Friendly staff, where locals come in for dinner and a visit. Literally across the freeway from Magic Mountain, Six Flag. Mall and shopping nearby as well. This was just a "meh" hotel. The rooms weren't great, the gym wasn't good (more than half the equipment was broken), and staff wasn't the best. The two things it has going for it are the fact that it's a mile away from Magic Mountain and that they have free breakfast. The omelet station at breakfast was really good and quick. The rest of the breakfast was also good for a hotel breakfast buffet. The thing that bothered me the most about this place is that apparently I accidentally chose a king bed instead of two queens. I'm not sure how that happened but the prices are identical. I asked when I checked in if I could just change rooms and they told me it would be another $75 to make a lateral change. I also heard another guest who apparently frequents this chain ask about a late checkout and the hotel was going to charge him an exorbitant fee. Add those things to the fact that they sprung a $15/day parking fee on me and it just felt like a really cheap hotel trying to add a whole bunch of junk fees to nickel and dime everyone every chance they could. Although the hotel is close to Magic Mountain, it's not exactly walkable And there's no transportation from the hotel to the park, so there's no incentive to stay here just to go to the park. If I go back to Magic Mountain, I'm definitely going to look at other hotels in the area before coming back here. I can't say that I recommend it. read more

The staff were very helpful and nice. It is an older property, but pretty well maintained. The rooms were spacious and the shower was a nice surprise. The cooked-to-order breakfast made my husband's morning. Eggs to his liking, bacon done just right, lots of juice--and lots more options to choose from (the pancakes looked divine!). It advertises as a dog-friendly hotel, but there is no grass anywhere on the property and the landscaping is pretty pet hostile. Fortunately, the neighboring hotel had an abundance of lush grass. But, I felt bad taking my dog over there several times during our short stay. Due to an accident that closed the Grapevine, we knew we'd arrive after all the restaurants closed so we called ahead and Jason connected us to the restaurant. The server patiently read us the menu, took our orders, waited until right before closing, then made our dinners. She stayed late to make certain we had everything we needed. The lack of stars are for: no grassy area, even a tiny spot, and while our room was very clean, it seemed that staffing may have been an issue, as candy wrappers, room service trays, and other debris was in the hallway when we arrived and when we left. read more

Sure, I noticed that the carpet and some of the fixtures in the room seemed a big aged. But everything was clean and comfortable. This hotel has positives and negatives; Positives: the room was spacious, about 400 square feet. The ki g size bed was relatively comfortable as was the work space. Bathroom has an odd layout but plenty of hot water. Breakfast in the morning is back and a great bonus. Negavives: Towels and linens could use an upgrade- feels like they've been washed with a brillo pad. Tons of under five year old kids- not conducive to relaxing. Paint was peeling from many areas in the room and bathroom making it seem very unkept. Won't stay here again. read more

The worst part of this hotel is the mess and grossness of the breakfast area. If this is any indication of the cleanliness of the kitchen, I do not eat here. The staff takes dishes in the back and wipes tables with a dry cloth. They do not clean spills, and let dried hard foot rot on the counters. You'd think something like this would garner a bit more attention from the big boys and girls at Hilton. But, unfortunately it doesn't seem to even show up on their radar. I have been a regular patron at the Embassy Suites in many states. Since our stay at the Valencia, CA location, I have officially taken them off of my list of preferred hotels to stay at. Stayed here for 2 nights for our family trip to Magic mountain. We had an option to choose our room from the Hilton app. We had a very good experience. Location is good very close to magic mountain, also close to shopping and dining. The hotel suite is spacious and comfortable. Clean and we had everything we needed. They have complementary breakfast, they made omelette and bacon, also had breakfast bar where they has options for my picky toddler. They also have happy hour in the afternoon where they had snacks and drinks. Our favorite thing about our stay are the staff, they were very friendly and very nice to us. Great customer service. Quick check-in and check-out. The score is due to paying for a clean suite, but when entering, having the trash can located under the sink filled with trash that included wine bottles, diapers, candy wrappers, and so on (the bag of Cheetos is mine). I called the front desk to kindly send someone to clean the trash and, but no one ever came. Disappointing to say the least. Also had an older gentlemen walking around the lobby without a mask and the staff not expressing anything to him about it. Clear signs were posted about masks being a requirement when entering the establishment. Besides those things, not a bad place to stay. read more

First night I arrived to the room it was dirty.... Housekeeping failed... Megan at the front desk handled it and changed us rooms and offered to give us some points. .... The same suite wasnt available so our family was separted in to 2 smaller rooms. The following morning we get moved again to our original suite that we requested in room 420... At 5pm on Saturday we left to Magic Mountain and returned at 1am.... As we open the door this bag with those items was on the counter by the sink.... 2 Lighters included in a Smoke Free room.. Someone entered our room without permission or any notice. OUR SENSE OF SECURITY WAS GONE, OUR PRIVACY WAS VIOLATED. We call front desk and explain to Megan the situation and that it needs to be investigated.... I had to sleep on the sofa ned and it wasmt comfortable..... Next morning i talked with the Manger about the whole situation and i told him to check cameras in the hallway and computer system about the person entering our room without permission. I explained to the Manager that person needs to be fired.... Manager on sunday morning said he would check. Manager agreed with front desk to give me 50% off my bill and points. On the survey i also explained the situation about an intruder entering our room and Assistant Manager Waliur Rahman respond with "Sorry for the inconvenience".... I DIDNT RECEIVE MY DISCOUNT AND DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY POINTS. Mr. Rahman's word is suppose to be his bond and he broke it. Embassy worker (Assistant Manager) opened his mouth and offered discounts but never went thru with any of it..... I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS HOTEL. MR. The lobby and pool area are very nice. That's where it's ends. The room was gross. There were stains all over the carpet, the sofa, the sheets, even one of the lamp shades was stained. Speaking of lamps, not all of them worked. One of the bedside lamps wouldn't turn on. It's really too bad because the room layout was nice, and the price would dictate a nice room but that's not what they deliver. I was also really unimpressed by the staff. When we checked in the woman was quite snooty, and not just to us. She was condescending and rude to the people ahead of us. It seems like everyone had issues with their reservations and instead of realizing that maybe the issue was with the hotel system, she treated everyone like they were too stupid to know how to make a reservation. I will also say that if you need any sort of ADA accommodations, they were not willing to do that here. read more

This place is so goofy. It's comes with two beds but are pretty tiny making it verb hard to share with somebody.else. The pullout couch is actually bigger than the beds. But what makes the whole thing worse is that all the beds are a little slanted towards your head so you have to do a weird sitting up position to be comfortable. The pull out couch is extremely creaky, you can not adjust positions, or get up to use the bathroom without waking up the whole town. Not to mention the bathrooms. The bathroom is pretty big which I enjoy; however, the shower is so confusing. The shower has an adjustable nozel, the bad part is that the water pressure doesn't match a single on of the pictures it says on the nozel. The shower head was probably found at the dollar store. There is also a divot in the tub which makes it so all of the water never fully exits the tub down true drain. When me and my family fanially arrived here after driving 13 hours, I decided to take a quick shower before I went to bed. But as soon as I stepped into the shower my foot was met with an icy cold 1inch deep pool of water in the divot inside of the tub. As me and my family just got here 10 minutes ago, this meant that there had been a pool of water in the tub from past visitors. But on the bright side,the room has 3 rooms inside of it which are all spacious and easy to be in. Both rooms include a TV and cabinets. And the view from the window on the top floor gives you a wonderful view of 6 flags and all of the rides there. The pull out couch does come out a little far so if you plan on sharing, take the side closer to the bathroom so you don't have to crawl over the bed back and forth to do anything as there is maybe 3 inches between the bed and the cabinets. Rarely is an Embassy Suites breakfast setup so bad that it warrants its own one-star review, but.....here we are. 1) Soda machine wasn't turned on. I asked an employee if they were going to turn it on, and he looked really confused and simply said, "No." Okay.... 2) Sign at the breakfast buffet indicating that any item from the lobby must stay in the lobby, and specifically mentioning that you cannot take a plate of food up to your room. I'm a solo business traveler (and an introvert at that) who feels much more safe and comfortable eating breakfast in my room than in a lobby with people staring at me while I eat. This is the first time I've ever seen an Embassy Suites not let you take your plate to your room, so maybe it's a new policy? Either way, I'm trying to wrap my head around what could possibly cause this policy and I can't figure it out. 3) Hot item buffet had no sausage and no bacon. Lukewarm eggs and stale lukewarm potatoes was it for hot food, unless you wanted a tiny pancake the size of your palm (which I'm sure was also lukewarm) Y'all needa fix this read more

I've stayed there with my son twice in the last six months. I don't know why people knock this hotel but I love it. You always get a suite and they have a fantastic breakfast and the free happy hour drinks and apps is great. The pool is decent and it's five minutes away from Magic Mountain. read more
