As a mom of three finding "me time" is a rarity, especially with a newborn, but I'm so happy that I used this time on finally trying this class! I decided to start with the Beginner's Foundation class with Sofia, and she was awesome! Sofia was upbeat, patient, and super attentive throughout. She made sure everyone in class had great form and she kept the energy high the entire time. The class was pretty challenging and worked muscles I didn't even know could be targeted. My abs, hips, lower back, and core were all on fire and sore for days(in the best way!) My partner joined me, and we both walked out of the studio smiling and sweaty, trying to plan our next Pilates session. The vibe was perfect for beginners as it was welcoming, supportive, and overall motivating. Can't wait to return to WestCore. We are officially hooked!

I am still a beginner in lagree, and have taken a few classes already, but Mona recommended strongly that I should have taken a foundations class first. I understand that each lagree studio works differently and has different techniques, but she might have been right. However, Mona was really supportive of me, fixing my form throughout class and I really appreciated that! The reformers here could tilt up/lay flat, and it def seem bigger than most reformers I've tried. They have so many big dyson fans around the studio! A suggestion that I would make would be having small amenties in the restroom; hair ties, spray deodorant would be a great touch. If you forget to bring grippy socks, it will be $15 and they have it right in front of the studio.

I really liked my instructor in the first class; the energy and the way she led the group were different, combining rhythmic movement with melodic voice commands. I paid for two weeks during which I met other coaches - all of them were great! What I appreciate about this place is that there was never the same set of exercises; every day brought something new. However, I am still deciding whether to return because I also want to do yoga, and their prices are quite high. They offer payment for 10 classes, whereas many places have a price for an unlimited month instead. I joined back in 2022 when I lived in San Bruno, and there was even a time when I was unemployed that I would come twice a day. This studio offers a huge variety of classes, and the instructors are truly the best - so passionate, knowledgeable, and motivating. I've also gotten to know the owner, Leila, and I have the utmost respect for her for creating such a welcoming, community-centered space. She's always open to feedback and is constantly looking for ways to elevate the experience and make sure members are really getting their money's worth. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be challenged, build strength, and find a supportive community. With so many different class styles, there's truly something for everyone!
