This store makes it super easy to do business. I was able to ask multiple questions, send over my…read morelogo and pay by credit card all by email. If you have a JPEG logo for example there will be a fee (which was under $50 with tax) to have Hometown convert the logo into the file type required for embroidery. When I went into the store to look at the logo once it had been digitized I was able to have changes made to it - delete words and realign other words. The staff were super helpful telling me what is common in terms of logo width and font size. If you have a logo already made they can pretty much execute any drag and resize action you could want. If you don't have a file already, while they don't design logos, they can set you up with stylized words. The staff were super patient as I picked out the colors to be used bringing me spools of thread to compare against each other and against the shirts I brought in and the digital image of my logo. I find their prices super reasonable and everyone was very friendly. It was just $12 per shirt that I wanted to have embroidered. I didn't buy the clothing there, but they had a retail floor of clothing and hats and a half ream sized catalog that you could purchase anything you could imagine from. My shirts were ready for pickup a week later and I was really happy with the quality and colors. I will certainly drop off more shirts soon and I'm thinking some hats too and maybe some of those cloth grocery bags.

When I explained to her that I wanted my pants at the shoes - you know - the style these days, she said she hated that style and told me I wasn't 21 anymore. Yikes! Good thing I'm not sensitive about my age. At any rate I just want my pants tailored so I leave them there and she tells me my pants would be done Friday but maybe before. I happened to be driving by a couple days later (Wednesday) so I thought I'd check in on them. The nice lady met me in front. She said one pair of pants were done but the others weren't. I didn't have any cash so I went to the ATM and planned on taking the one pair of pants for a business trip I was going on. When I got back, I was met in the front by the second woman who was very miffed that I came to pick up my pants early and told me that neither of them were ready. She was noticeably upset that I came for my pants before she texted me that they were done. I was like - I just talked to your co-worker, and ahhh I'm confused. I was probably as scared as her colleague who isn't saying anything or bailing me out. Well ok this was a truly odd experience, but no worries. Friday it is. Friday just before close I stop by to get my pants. No dice. I was told they aren't done and that I should come back tomorrow to get them. At this point I'm like I'm never coming back here as soon as I get my pants. Saturday before close I didn't hear back so I go to get my pants. The nice lady helps me. I quickly try my pants on and get out of there because frankly I never want to see the other lady again. Ironically enough the scary lady kept saying that I would get a text when my pants were done and got pissed at me for checking on them early but then she didn't text me to tell me my pants were done after she said they would be done and then again after she said they would be done for the second time. My pants are too short so I just wasted $98 dollars on two pairs of pants and $16 a piece for a bush league tailoring job. Go to nicks tailoring on Detroit in Westlake by subway. Nicest guy ever.
