At the time of the visit, I was wearing a temporary splint placed by urgent care and was experiencing pain and swelling. I informed Dr. Graham that I did not feel the splint was fitting properly and asked for guidance regarding appropriate immobilization. I was told that the splint "looked fine." When I expressed continued concern, I was advised to purchase a brace from Amazon and to work on making a fist so that my hand would not become stiff. I was not provided with a specific recommendation regarding the type of brace that should be used, nor was I given detailed instructions regarding activity restrictions or warning signs to monitor. Most concerning, I was instructed to return in four months. I specifically asked whether the intended follow-up interval was four weeks, and I was informed that it was indeed four months. A four-month follow-up appointment was subsequently scheduled. As a healthcare professional myself, I understand the importance of preventing stiffness and promoting recovery. However, I left the appointment feeling dismissed and without clear guidance regarding the management of an acute fracture. My concerns were not adequately addressed, and I remain troubled by the absence of earlier follow-up or imaging to evaluate healing and alignment. I respectfully request that this encounter be reviewed and that I be provided with clarification regarding the rationale for the treatment plan and follow-up interval. I started with Dr. Yurio and after a few sessions of physical therapy ordered an MRI. Turns out I completely tore my ACL and part of my meniscus. I was presented with my options and ultimately decided to have surgery to repair my injuries. I was transferred to Dr. Kaplan and he again presented me with my options. I decided to continue moving forward with the surgery. At no time was I pressured into having the surgery. For my lifestyle and health it made sense to move forward. Fast forward to surgery day - The surgery center is in the same building and is well maintained. I was introduced to several people who would be participating in the surgery and each one confirmed with me why I was there. It was clear patient care and safety was a top priority. Follow up appointments were a breeze. They email any paperwork required prior to the appt. And after check in the most I ever waited was 5 mins in the big waiting room or in the actual room. I saw either the PA and Surgeon during these appts. Both were professional and never made me feel rushed and felt comfortable asking questions. I was in and out in less than 30 mins from check in to check out. I had a positive experience from start to finish with this group of Dr.s and would recommend them. There are several Dr.s with different specialties available. I did see one of the foot Dr.s several years ago, can't recall his name, and did not have the same positive experience.

The management really needs to do something about the younger therapists and front staff. It's bothersome. They're arrogant and if they don't want to be there they don't need to be. His style of care has been very interesting but confusing! Throughout him trying to find solutions to help me however, has been giving me mixed signals! One day he would say he is trying to find solution's to my pain experience then the next he & his office staff treats me like I'm a homeless person off the streets! While I was in VA he made sure I was given pain medication for the accident I can say that! However, I broke my neck developed a serious infection in my leg and had to have surgery on both my neck from front to back & my leg was so infected that they spoke of amputation But God saved me and now I'm healing each and every day one day at a time! I am in so much pain everyday! I have been trying to get treated by this office but they turned me away about some Medicare Issues the day of my visit left me with no pain meds! NO one would return my calls, messages and they have been charging me for services NOT rendered! Examples were while I was stuck in the hospital in VA I am showing charges ridiculously for those times! I believe the Billing department has overcharged me numerous times! One month I would have no charges all of a sudden I'm owing thousands of dollars for treatment I did not received in Florida Pain office! I was turned away when I showed up for my appointment one day because they said I did not pay my co-pay! They blamed it on Medicare! However I called Medicare and they said they were good on their end! Everything paid that was sent in and etc! There has been a lot of turnaround situations I get it! But don't say I haven't paid my bills when I know I have! Sometimes the receipts doesn't show your credits on the EOB's as well!!! I want to focus on being pain free NOT more stress!!!
