For $10 more if you register online you can purchase a day pass to have alcoholic beverages there while you paint.

Very organized place, lots of paint colors, clean brushes and sponges to use endlessly and amazing service. Upon entering we were greeted with a big smile and provided information on the wide selection of pottery there and design ideas. Pricing is very accessible and a great place to let out your creativity.

I love the calm environment and staff. 10/10 favorite pottery painting place in Seattle

Glass fusion project and painted ceramics (before firing). Sunday afternoon art with family!

My mom, niece and I had a wonderful time this afternoon at Emerald City Fired Arts. The studio has lots of ceramics to paint plus the option to do a fused glass project or also a mosaic tile. If you are looking for a fun, creative and memorable time to celebrate time with family and friends or a special occasion you'll love Emerald City Fired Arts. Plus, The studio was nice and cool on a hot summer afternoon. Great service, knowledgeable staff and a well run studio that I'd love to return to!

Excellent selection of colors, polite and helpful owner, good selection of projects and materials, and a really reasonable price. This was exactly the experience we wanted.

    Lots of techniques available.

I came here with my meetup group and we all had a wonderful time! I was able to make a reservation and finalize all the details via email with the (owner?) manager, Maidrine. She was absolutely lovely! So helpful. My group is for crafty gals who like adult beverages. Applying/paying/receiving the minimal charge banquet fee so we could BYOB was also part of what made the experience so great. We brought some drinks and some snacks, had a pizza delivered and set up at the long table in the back where we got our craft on. Maidrine was so helpful and patient with us. There are so many different techniques - beyond the basic paint brush. There are step by step instructions on each table, examples displayed on the wall and she has tools on hand (ie; stamps, silk screens, yarn, tape, etc.) Honestly I should have arrived 30 mins early just to pick out my piece and figure out what I wanted to do with it. Excellent experience. Will be back. Great for groups! Birthday, kid, baby shower, bachelorette , etc. parties! Ladies nights. Date nights. Rainy days. Parking was easy too. Right on the corner on the first floor of new apartment buildings.

Kind staff, broad selection of ceramics, paints and other items like stencils. Booked for a birthday party and the group all had a blast.

Do you have wheel throwing ceramics?

Hi Dixie, We do not have wheels at our studio and generally do handbuilding only as part of summer…

They had fabric, all aspects of sewing and scrapbooking, jewelry making, bulk paint and glue, glitter, and a wide selection of different containers. I don't think I could even write everything they had. The prices are dirt cheap: I bought 9 or 10 things for $5. If you (like me) are really into sustainability, I can't think of a better place to pick up your crafting supplies.

Somehow, I had never heard of Seattle ReCreative, but I'm glad I stumbled upon it! The store doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's much bigger than it looks. The front rooms have sewing supplies, knitting/crochet needles, fabric and notions, plus modeling clay, jewelry and beading stuff. As you go further back, there's a room with office supplies, a section of cards and stationery and paper ephemera. The biggest area is in the back, though, where the main warehouse is. That's where you'll find gift bags and tissue, floral supplies, wicker baskets and tins, paint, and tons more random stuff. The other side of the warehouse is a crafting area that looks like it can be rented out - they said they had had a bunch of kids in earlier for a field trip. You definitely have to sift through the piles of stuff to find what you're looking for, but the prices are very reasonable. I love that it's reducing waste and encouraging creative reuse - anyone with hobbies knows how expensive it can be to get started with supplies, and this is a good way to try things out inexpensively. (Or get rid of the evidence of an abandoned hobby.) Their hours are a bit limited, but similar to other small crafting/hobby supply shops. Overall, if you're willing to roll up your sleeves and hunt, there's lots of treasure to be found!

They have a great cat/dog toy section! The store features art and goods from local artists and there's so much cute stuff. I can easily spend 15-20 minutes perusing all the goods. I found the employees to be lovely whenever I visited. They sometimes would tell me about an artist if I'm looking at their wares and I love hearing more detail about things but I never felt pressure to buy anything.  Also they sell anything under the sun here from jewelry to vases to clothes to things for kids and babies. Great variety. I found a random darling egg sticker for my friend who loves eggs and my friend found these cool mushroom magnets for her sister who loves mushrooms. See, this store is amazing!  Pacific Place is a shell of its former self. A lot of the stores have closed and it seems like most people who do come here are coming to eat at Din Tai Fung or HaiDiLao but if you're in this mall make sure to stop by the 3rd floor and check it out! Highly recommend it! There's something for everyone. Also can be a fun way to while away some time if you're waiting for your seat in the above restaurants.  Also I just learned they have a website  https://thehandmadeshowroom.com/ so apparently I don't have to be in Seattle to shop their goods! Free shipping on orders over $50.
