Edit: The owner of this location reached out to me and informed me that all the fruits in Guava Sunrise are authentic and fresh, except for the guava (which is a flavoring). She also notified me that the way I ordered my smoothie should've included different substitutes, which caused it to be too sweet. I appreciate her messaging me, and I'm planning on visiting this location once more and rewriting my review the next time I visit Seattle. The customer service here is very good. I love a good smoothie. I stopped here after a Costco trip because I wanted a variety of fruit without buying gigantic 20 oz containers of them. The workers are really friendly, like other reviewers mention. I got the Guava Sunrise smoothie and asked to remove the whey protein while also getting a free add-on from checking in on Yelp, and the worker told me she could give me another add-on since she wasn't putting in the whey protein! I got a Vitamin C boost and some acai. However, my order wasn't that great since the flavor was incredibly artificial. It might have been the Vitamin C boost overpowering everything, but I felt like I was drinking dessert instead of something that should've been packed with fresh fruits. Other reviews don't seem to have my issue, so I'd say stick with more organic ingredients that don't obfuscate the existing taste of the smoothie if you're looking to add an add-on (like chia seeds, for example).

All that whey protein

Emerald City Smoothie is my current favorite stop for healthy smoothies and bowls. I used to prefer Jamba Juice but it seems like my taste buds have changed. When I first tried it, I wasn't fond of the taste of the whey protein but now I keep coming back to Emerald City Smoothie. I love that there is so much options to choose from and it is categorized by your intended goals, such as weight loss, immunity support, mass building, etc. You're bound to find something you like. There is a lot of customization involved in choosing your add-ons. Drinks come in 16oz and 32oz. I usually go for the 32oz because I'll just drink it all day or put the leftover in the freezer and let it thaw out the next time I finish it. Although it's on the pricier side, it is worth the investment. The smoothies are usually packed with nutrients, protein, or antioxidants. My fave drink is the Emerald smoothie. It takes even better with peanut butter if you enjoy a nutty, creamier taste. I also recommend the Green Goddess if you want your daily intake of greens. Any of the berry smoothies are satisfying, including the Açaí Fusion and Berry Berry. There's still so much drinks I've been meaning to try. The staff there are friendly. If you don't know what to order, ask them for a suggestion!

Lots of options!

I was afraid this would be just a pricey Jamba Juice clone, but it's much better! The smoothies actually taste like fruit, and there's no weird gritty texture (you know what I mean if you've ever had JJ). The lady behind the counter was flying solo and was killin it even with a line three people deep. They have quite a selection of smoothies depending on what you're in the mood for or trying to accomplish in life... bulking up, want to lose weight, want to just eat fruit? Can do! The Pineapple Bliss was lower calorie and had all my favorite things, so sold! And it's clean, cold, and tasty. The perfect car breakfast for sitting in traffic after making a trip to Costco.

PB and J Smoothie that takes amazing just like the sammich

If you want good variety of smoothie options with good add-ins this is a good local option. The staff are nice and service was quick. Good place for the family

Wow, this place is not what I expected. As an avid Yelper, I usually look up places to check out when I want something yummy. This time, I was at the nearby Costco and decided to stop by without any prior knowledge. It was not what I was expecting at all. I don't know why I thought this was a basic fruit smoothie place but I was surprised (not in a bad way!) to see that this is a more complex and healthy smoothie spot. LOCATION & PARKING // There is a ton of parking here BUT there are so many cars around because of the Costco and the Home Depot around here. It is a hot mess driving around this place so be careful or else someone will hit you or randomly walk in front of you. The actual smoothie place is medium sized. There aren't a ton of tables inside and it's more of a grab and go kind of place. MENU & SERVICE // The menu here is enormous! I like how easy it is to maneuver because you can select something based off of what you're looking for. I applaud them for their accessible design. The service here was great too - nothing to complain about! DRINK // I ended up ordering the COCONUT PASSION (Coconut, Pineapple, Banana, Almonds, Whey Protein, Nonfat Milk) with a shot of VITAMIN C (bonus: the shot is free if you check into Yelp). When I first got it, it was a lot more thin and liquidy than I thought it would be. I don't know why but I thought it would be thicker and colder. I ended up not being able to drink it until much later so when I got home, I dumped it into a glass and left it in the freezer for a bit. It was really good! I thought the almonds added something unexpected to the drink. I'm glad I chose this - it was the perfect blend of sweet, summery, and refreshing. The only thing is the smallest size (16oz) is almost 7 dollars! OVERALL // 3.5 stars While it was a good smoothie, I don't think it's worth the price. I don't see how people can afford this place regularly unless you actually budget it in. This place is mediocre and, while it was good, I probably won't be back.

Walking into this spot just makes you feel healthier. I swear the air is has detoxifying properties not otherwise found in nature. I happened by on a scorching hot day when I was in need of something cold and delicious. I had been craving a smoothie for a couple of days, but the spot I usually go to was too far away. Lucky me, Yelp pointed me in the direction of Emerald City Smoothie. I had the berry berry, and it hit the spot! I really enjoyed that it was not too sweet. You could really taste the berries. Service was friendly and efficient. The price point is higher than other places I've been, but I'll pay it for convenience sake alone.

Been visiting the Costco Shoreline for the main warehouse, gas, and of course, the ever popular and…read morecrowded food court since 2002. (I've stopped in also at Costco SoDO, Woodinville, Lynnwood, Lynnwood Business, and Silverdale). Useful to have the individual ordering touchpad kiosks and then the wait until your number is called. I recently noticed this past week that the tables have been increased and reconfigured. That helps with seating and traffic flow. Definitely I avoid it during peak dinner time and weekends....simply too crowded! What's been ordered over the years? Of course, the hot dog and soda. My fave go to. I miss Pepsi since the switch to Coke products, but I read somewhere that now bottled water is offered now. Pizza by the slice or whole pizza. There's only cheese or pepperoni. Remember the days with the combo? Still can't beat that price for fresh out of the oven pizza though. The Homie loves the chicken bake. I tried one of the deli type sandwiches once, didn't care for the thick bolo bread. Tried the giant chocolate chip cookie, prefer the days of the long churros instead. The espresso type bevs are just okay, prefer the soft serves. I sure miss the days featuring mango though. Service is expedient. For the price and convenience, it's a treat. Rarely pause to eat onsite, usually it's to go.
