Came here on a weekday to study and had a pleasant work session here. There is plenty of space and outlets, making it an ideal place for remote workers and students. We shared a sandwich with prosciutto and it was quite tasty. They heated it up so the cheese was nice and melted. The cinnamon roll was alright, nothing special. You can't ever go wrong with an iced latte. The iced caramel latte with oatmilk had a nice balance between the sweetness and the coffee. I ordered a cappuccino and that was a little lackluster. I've never written a complaint about an individual before, but today I had a really poor interaction with the barista girl with arm tattoos. There was a large order of seven drinks ahead of me, which she mentioned. No problem. After ordering one latte, I asked if she could restock the water cups so I could have some water while I waited. With a frown and attitude, she said she'd grab them after finishing the order she was on. I waited about 5 minutes, then came back when the very last customer in line was paying and I asked again. With even more attitude, she told me again she would after finishing the order, then grabbed some cups and stacked them in front of me without a word. No friendliness or apology. 15 minutes later, I noticed the other barista had finished all the drinks in the queue and was doing something else, but I still didn't have mine. When we asked her, we found out the barista with tattoos never wrote my latte into the queue! The other barista was super nice, apologized on their behalf, and made my drink right away. I see other reviews mention rude service here recently, and unfortunately I had the same experience. My family and I come here often, but I hope management takes steps to improve the customer experience. I feel hestitant to return if the barista with tattoos is working. read more

I was trying to find a local spot with some good pastries and chai reviews. This place came up and I'm glad I got the opportunity to check it out. Walked in and was quickly greeted by the staff. Had a lovely time here! Met a friend for coffee and it was the perfect place to meet. It's quiet, cozy, great ambiance, and lots of seating. I went in the morning and it was busy but there was no line, which tells me that they are well organized! I got a decaf pumpkin latte and it was absolutely incredible. dont get me wrong the acai bowls here are amazing, however i never know if i will fully get my moneys worth. first off paying $16.70 for an açaí bowl is a crime but half the time i leave with a half full container. Today was the worst experience i had, and when i asked if they gave me the correct size bowl (large) the employee was extremely rude and snarky. she claimed that it was in fact a large and was annoyed with the fact that i pointed out that i got a half full bowl and didnt offer any explanation or decent service to fully make one. clearly not every employee is trained with how to make each item on the menu correctly and it is affecting the quality of the service and food. This coffee shop would be a great place to come to more often however I'm not a huge fan of getting half of what i pay for and not getting a decent response when addressing the situation. read more

Parking outside ( more in the back) Coffee was a ok the first time. But been coming back several times since. It's convenient meting my clients that live in the area. It does get busy. I take leaving reviews pretty seriously, and I waited a while to leave this one. This is a good coffee shop and I would honestly consider myself a regular here, I've been coming for years! I've worked as a barista before, so I understand that not every day is a good one, but kindness and warmth are essential in customer service (especially at a shop that seems to value those things, based on the owners' responses to other reviews). Customer service can really make or break a place, and experiences like this could potentially drive people away. One moment that stands out happened when I came in on my birthday with a friend. I ordered a matcha latte the same way I had before (not stirred, with honey). I politely asked if they could make sure it was unstirred. The same barista responded in an almost condescending tone, "We never stir our matchas." And then... it was stirred. I didn't say anything at the time, but I honestly felt frustrated. That said, I want to acknowledge that the rest of the baristas I've interacted with have been sweet, kind, and bring a completely different energy to the space. They're friendly and warm, and they're a big part of why I still return. Overall, this is a great place to meet a friend for lunch, grab a coffee and go on a walk, or get some work done. They don't make the smoothie in front of you. They go in the back behind a curtain and now I know why. Very skeptical as to if they're using fresh ingredients because this is beyond gross! First off the girls taking the orders are always rude and second of all when I order açaí bowls I always ask for double peanut butter and they are quick to charge me but always "forget" to add the double serving of peanut butter. Very impressed with this cute coffee shop at Mill Creek Towne Center. We tried Visible across the way a few days before and well... you can go check out my review for them if you'd like. But Bequest had been on my Yelp list to try and the day finally came. It's cozy inside and what I would call inviting. The order counter is at the front and then all the tables and hangout spots are at the back of the business. It's a bit dark but I think that vibes with the mood. The woman who helped us the first time was so freakin' sweet and kind to talk to. She gave us a full rundown of the place (maybe the owner?) and helped with our decision making. We got some of the special flavors that day (Pistachio Rose and White chocolate Cherry Blossom) and we really enjoyed both. The next time we both got a white chocolate lavender and I loved it. Lavender made in house :) I also got their Fremont Panini and it was so good. I'd get it again for sure. We plan on going back to hang out while we eat and sip and I'm looking forward to it. I forgot to leave a review and this place deserves a review from me, because I don't screw around. I've walked by this place and never go in, probably because I can be lazy. Well, that was a massive mistake. This place rocks. There is a 100% chance I will return. The staff is very friendly, but not overkill. The coffee is great. The sitting area is very nice since they have a solid mix of- bar style high top tables, benches/couches, and a little book place. Didn't have anything from the menu since I just had lunch, but it looked pretty good. I've included a photo for others because I'm a nice guy. It's smaller than the other coffee shop across the street (spotted cow or some new name I don't remember), but I think prices are better and food is better and ambiance is better. Ok, only downside, but not really the places fault - a lady next to me was on a zoom call with no headphones. If this happens again I am totally going to pop up behind here and start having a conversation with the people on the zoom call until she puts on headphones. read more

Stopped in for a change of scenery from my desk at home. Grabbed a lavender latte and was able to snag a seat at a tall table. There were signs limiting the time that guests could stay, and with how busy it was I understand why. Not a great place if you're looking for somewhere quiet to work, and I wasn't able to find any wifi information anyways. Would be a good spot to meet up with folks to chat for a bit before exploring the rest of the Town Center. The coffee itself was alright.
