Stopped by Emerald Coast Nursary today. Wife and I walked the grounds, went through the store, through the greenhouse and back out front and didn't see a single employee the entire time. While they do have a nice selection of plants, we left with nothing since there was no one to assist in buying anything. Very disappointing indeed. read more

I had a very pleasant experience purchasing a Gardenia here. They were very helpful and friendly and I appreciate the fact that they recommend parents keep an eye on their childeren and not let them run around. I also thought the plant I purchased was an excellent value and it was loaded with buds...its going to be beautiful when it blooms! I will be returning to buy more plants here! read more

Disappointed by my experience at this nursery. Most of the plants have no labels with name, sun requirements or pricing which is fine if the staff was knowledgeable or friendly. You only get one or the other here. You might come across a friendly worker who isn't very knowledgeable or you get the woman (the landscape architect) who is knowledgeable but extremely unfriendly and rude. I rather drive to Pensacola for a good nursery than deal with them again. I'm sure for professionals it's a great resource in town, however, for the home gardener you are better off going elsewhere. read more

We do not recommend Emerald Coast Nursery as we lost close to $3k on trees that they planted improperly in 2022. When we noticed the trees starting to die in 2023, we reached out to see if there was anything we could do to save them. They recommended we contact the local county extension. We were fortunate enough to have an employee come to our house to diagnose the trees in person. She immediately saw that each tree was planted too deep and they were all slowly suffocating and would eventually die. We emailed the owner and the landscape designer with no response. When we showed up in person in hopes of rectifying the situation, the owner refused to accept responsibility. She offered 25% off replacements which was coincidentally the weekend sale at the time and no discount on the install at all. I wish I would have seen the small sign amongst the cluttered front desk that stated they do not guarantee their plants or installs. So, if you choose to use them, be aware of this policy. 2 years later we are having to start our backyard privacy hedge project from scratch. This has been a major waste of our time, energy and money. read more

Emerald Coast designed, prepared, and installed new landscaping at our home in Bluewater Bay. The grounds needed a complete overhaul after 25 years as a rental. Leslie, owner and proprietor, personally inspected the grounds and then directed the install of a wide variety of perennials, flowering shrubs, and grasses to create a natural look for homes here in the northeast coast of Florida. Emerald Coast even came back to put covers on the two most delicate plants to protect them through the deep freeze of Christmas 2022. Our next project will occur in 2023 as the back yard is re-built. The team we will select to complete this project will be Leslie and her staff at Emerald Coast. read more

Spoke directly with owner, he came by the house and verified that no sod was installed but he would call back on Monday. No call, no sod. But we did receive a bill to be paid in full on May 9. Went to the office again (8th time at office) numerous phone calls. Baldwin turf is saying the job is completed, even though the owner physically saw it had not been done. Well we are in the last week of May, still no sod, but our 2 neighbors, one who ordered at the same time as us have theirs completed and the other ordered a month ago and they are finished already. No explanation as of yet. I do not like giving them a star when that is too high.

I shop mostly at children's boutiques, and did find them a bit overpriced, especially with more common brands like Maileg and Jellycat. It's in a fantastic location, and I liked that they had some fun beach toys as well.

Moi favorite fruit is Mandarins. I love Mandarins & Bailey's had a miniature one that I purchased in 2023 that I planted in a very large pot. It's doing so fabulous & produced its first harvest of fresh organic Mandarins just in time for our Thanksgiving holiday. The Organic Mandarins from the miniature tree aren't mini at all, they are yuge, super acidic & super juicy tasting. The best Mandarins I have ever had, and I grew them myself. I also made all my own homemade organic fertilizer for them out of kitchen scraps, banana peels & egg shells etc., they are truly delicious. OuiOui :)... All the plants I have purchased from Baileys are doing great, however, the Miniature Mandarin Tree is the show stopper. If you love Mandarins, I highly recommend the Miniature Mandarin Tree. OuiOui. Bailey's has tripled in size since I first started shopping there. Now, there are two more lots with tons of Christmas trees & tons more plants. The produce section has also grown to triple in size & they are now carrying tons more inventory, gourmet goods, culinary utensils & cookware etc., LOVE the specialty items. I'm so excited to see what Bailey's develops with the new additional, outbuildings & extra lots with extra parking. It looks so beautiful as Bailey's has always done a great job with the Nursery & nursery plants.
