Although the food is OK the service was awful.Couldn't find the waiter to place an order and when the food was served each diner was served at different times. Not a pleasant experience when 1 person's food gets cold waiting for the others to be served. Again, had to hunt down the waiter to get the check. No luck here either. Finally had to ask the manager twice and was told the waiter was bagging takeout and helping in the kitchen. All in all a disappointing experience. read more

Terrible Service! Rude Owner and Hostess! Left before we were seated because the hostess was so rude and made a very mean comment when we asked for a booth! If you are looking for good food at a great price, this is the place! Chinese food is VERY easy to mess up, so you have to be careful. Veggies are always fresh and well done, meats are tender and don't have a gristly, shiny appearance like they sometimes do in Chinese dishes and the portions are large. Ma family of four can easily have a healthy and tasty meal for $40 and even less. Take out, in my opinion is actually better and I think the portions are even bigger. I've been going there for over 10 years. Awesome place and amazingly nice owners. I've never had a bad experience, and from what I've had, it's the best sushi in the area by far. You'd have to travel to Baltimore or York to get as good. Their chinese food is also very delicious. read more

Used to eat here at least once a month. No more. Both Sesame and Gen Tso Chicken were not of good quality. Overdone and lacking flavor. BBQ ribs were over cooked and tough. Fried rice was dry. This was the last time we will give them a chance to be as they used to be. No more. read more

The service is pretty bad but the food is decent. We've always gotten carry out; just recently tried to dine in but wouldn't do it again. The place is sort of creepy and the service is bad - there was literally no one else in the place and there was one server in the back of the restaurant on Facebook playing videos extremely loud. read more

This place has great service, fair pricing, and really good food. It's clean and everyone is so pleasant.

Use to go there all the time, but, yesterday was different. I asked for coffee and they brought me a Folgers bag, it did not taste good. They use to use fresh shrimp, but now they use small frozen, that taste horrible. The waitress, never once ask if things were ok. There was an old woman there, who would not refund my money for the coffe bag, which I did not drink. The woman argued that the coffee bag was real coffee, she did not get it. I told them I was not leaving a tip and paid my bill. The old woman said, but you got good service, leave the girl a tip, but it was bad. If after all these years, I will never go back there. I use to drive there from Baltimore....but no more....bye, bye, Emerald Gardens. Don't try to skimp on your customers. The woman even had the nerve to tell me that she went down the street to Walmut to buy the coffee bags and I can even call Folgers. What !! read more
