A few things I look for in a great dentist: kindness and care with my children, realistic and coherent goals for their dental health and an office that doesn't make them feel like they were abducted by a light in the sky. It was my 5 year olds first x-ray. Both kids didn't flinch. They trusted the doctor and technician. They felt welcome and safe. Also appreciate all the reminders about the appointment for a busy mom. I took my son here to get some dental work done. He had some cavities on some baby teeth. But one in particular was causing him pain. The doctor suggested addressing all teeth under general anesthesia at a later date. This was in February. We set up his procedure for March which was the soonest they could get him in. I had to keep my son from school and obviously he couldn't eat due to general anesthesia. An hour before his procedure I get a call saying oh did you get our message yesterday I said no. She then admitted no one actually tried to contact me the day before. She said the doctor was out with Covid and they needed to reschedule to April. I told her my sons in pain can we at least take care of the tooth that's bothering him this month. She kept saying she needed to talk to the doctor and couldn't give me an answer until next week. I let her know how unprofessional it is to call someone an hour before a procedure when my son hadn't eaten and I kept him from school and now I get no other options but to make him wait longer. I found a place that could get him in the next day so I asked this office for the X-rays and notes. On the email she put here's mason's progress notes. My son is not named mason. I asked for the rest of the info she said when she cancelled the appointment yesterday it deleted it. So they canceled his appointment the day before but called me the day of, unprofessional. Then when I told them I was going elsewhere she magically could get my son in on Saturday! She said the doctor remembers "her" and we can have "her" come in on Saturday. I said my son is a boy. She replies that she was new and didn't look at the file. Even though this is the same person I spoke to back in January when I brought my daughter here, so she cannot be that new. Regardless with all the errors I chose to go somewhere else who was able to help my son without general on the same day as his exam. read more

My son had the best experience here today! From the moment we walked in I was impressed. The waiting room is so clean and kid friendly with a tv, toys and fun chairs. They took us back right away(didn't make an impatient toddler wait) and started his exam. Each chair had a tv above it and they turned on PJ Masks for my kiddo, which he loved! The chairs were fun colors and again everything was so clean. The tech explained every single thing she was doing to my son before she started. Once she was finished the doctor came over and checked out his teeth, gave me a few tips on how to keep them healthy and we were on our way. All in under 30 minutes! I brought my kids in today for the first time & they loved it! Dr. Minh & his assistant Tina are both wonderful. They are compassionate & have a very caring staff who loves kids. The office looks brand new so I'm assuming they just opened not too long ago. Either way, their office is amazing. It's filled with the latest technology & entertainment for the kids. It helps loosen them up & make them feel right at home. The day of my sons' appointment I had to reschedule very last minute - I mean right before their appointment time - the receptionist (sorry, i didn't get her name, but she's a sweet asian lady) she kindly rescheduled for me without any problems or attitude (unlike some places they give you shit for it). I apologized so many times & she reassured me its okay & they'll be happy to see us at our next (today's) appointment. They are beyond fantastic from speaking over the phone to the end of my kids' first appointment. They made it so easy to schedule an appointment, they make sure all your info are correct, check insurance before hand, & also you get to fill out paperwork online which saves you so much time! They provide great environment for kids & help parents understand what's going on with their children's dental health. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND their wonderful services. I had an appointment today at 12:30pm for two boys. I got there around 12:15pm, however, the clinic was empty and there's a sign hanging on the front door saying they will be back at 1pm. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and knocked on their door just incase the sign was a mistake, but to no avail. There was another family that also had the same schedule. I went to my car to try calling and at this time my two boys is getting fuzzy.. Mind you I received a reminder 2 hours prior. When I was checking in, I asked the front desk girl what's happening, can't you hear that I was knocking the door. She said "I didn't hear that, I heard the phone rang, but I was having lunch in the back." Ya I know it's your lunch time, but if your office can't fulfill my appointment was scheduled at 12:30pm, then professionally you should not schedule your patient during those time. Furthermore putting up you-will-be-back at 1pm sign when there is a 12:30pm appoints is simply unacceptable. A simple apology for the confusion could have suffice but was never uttered through out the entire visit. read more

My daughter had her 2 hour dental appointment today with general anesthesia, full month x-ray, 8 aluminum crowns, and 4 porcelain veneers treatment. First time here. My son has a disease and needs to be extra cautious about contact and germs in a medical environment. The tech let me know right away she was getting over a cold. I explained the situation and they were great about working with me. Both dentist and tech gowned and gloved and the dentist did his cleaning and exam so the tech with the cold was not in his face. The kids enjoyed the tv above the exam table as well as the little room with iPads in the waiting area. Overall friendly environment, and I'm glad we chose them. read more

I took my son to Emerald Pediatric Dentist because I was told by two other Dentists that my son needed sedation. Dr. Minh got us an appointment on Saturday. Tina the Dental Assistant was Awesome! She got X-rays on my son's teeth. Without sedation. And my son got a tooth pulled out that was stuck. They were gentle when my son was nervous. This is a new facility, it's very nice. I was referred to this dentist office by our insurance company. I went on the dentist website and reqested an appointment around 8 pm. Surprisingly, my e-mail was returned ASAP and they set up and confirmed my appointment for the following day. I brought my 12 year old son in for a tooth/gum ache. When we walked in I was shocked on how colorful and beautful the place was. We checked in and waited in the lobby for a few minutes. My son was excited as they had three iPads in the lobby for kids to use. They also have a TV. Dr. Raymond Park treated my son along with his assistant. I'm not sure of the assistant's name but she was incredible and made my son feel so comfortable and laugh the whole time. They also had these cool big screen ceiling TV's that the kids could watch while getting their teeth worked on. Dr. Park was awesome and took the nervousness out of my son. This was our first time coming to this dentist office and this entire visit was incredible. My son will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this dentist office for any child.
