He advised that I would now see Align Physical Therapy group and stated I would see the difference in treatment. When you enter the waiting area, Samantha has quite a few professional framed degrees in different areas of specific wellness. I have not seen that in the other PT places I have attended. It is quite impressive. She also involves her patients on the education of their treatment so we can understand what is involved in her treatment for us. I am not sure how Samantha can acknowledge each patient and recall their injury and the back story to go with it. Pretty amazing to see. This woman is filled with energy, love for the buisiness and the care she takes with each patient warms the heart. The business is in a house and feels intimate. Her assistants/techs, Donovan and Rene follow Samantha's lead and again, you feel connected to all who works there. I wish there were 100 Samantha's but she is unique. Her knowledge of the body is beyond incredible and it's clear she has a thirst for more knowledge with continuing education classes. I have had chronic pain for a few years. She has communicated to my treating physician ( shout out to Dr Nair) the treatment she is providing and the result of such..... She has these magic hands with techniques I have not experienced before which has given me relief where I can feel like we are making progress, unlike past experiences. Unprofessionalism and Frustration at Align Physical Therapy Group I'm not one to write reviews, but my recent experience at Align Physical Therapy Group compels me to share my frustrations and warn others about the issues I encountered. The initial impression I had of this establishment was, unfortunately, an accurate representation of the service I received. My first interaction was with Michelle, the scheduler, who seemed more focused on her attitude than providing helpful customer service. Despite her discourteous behavior, I continued with the scheduling process, hoping it would be an isolated issue. Sadly, this was not the case. When I called Align Physical Therapy Group to cancel my appointments, I was met with even more unprofessionalism. To my shock, they had blocked my phone number, forcing me to call from a different number to get in touch with them. It was at this point that I discovered that Michelle had never actually scheduled the appointments in the first place, leaving my health in limbo. This oversight not only wasted my time but also worsened my condition, forcing me to seek help elsewhere. Align Physical Therapy Group needs to seriously reconsider the role of its scheduler, as empathy, communication, and attention to detail should be prioritized in this position. I strongly recommend anyone seeking physical therapy services to look for alternative options. While this office should aim to heal and rehabilitate, my experience was filled with stress, unprofessionalism, and unnecessary setbacks. I was referred to see Sabrina Summers at Align PT for PTSD work after my fiancé had done the same and had incredible results. I myself suffer from PTSD from combat stress having served 10 years and 2 combat deployments with the US Army. I must admit I was skeptical but I can not express how incredibly wrong I was to have been. Miss Summers, who herself is an incredible woman and wonderful soul, guided me through 2 of my hardest memories and most severe triggers and smoothed the frayed edges to leave the memories as just that...memories that are no longer associated with pain, loss and fear. I have spelt better than I have in years and only waking up from night terrors only rarely where before it was nearly nightly. I have used several physical therapy offices over the years but shoulder pain, lower back pain as well as knee and foot pain had persisted until I began treatment with Sabrina Summers at Align Physical Therapy several months ago. Knee pain and lower back pain have almost disappeared as well as most of my foot discomfort. She has dramatically increased the range of motion in my shoulders and arms and I continue to follow her directions while working with a personal trainer. Her technique has been nothing short of miraculous for me. She has worked on my nerve related systems, as well as muscular and spinal alignment with amazing results. This was an excellent experience. Dr. Summers is attentive to the mind-body interface and utilized this process as she developed and provided a plan of care. My concerns were addressed professionally with excellent instruction, demonstration and written materials that allowed me to continue a home exercise program to maintain the improvement in my mobility afforded me during hands-on treatment sessions. In her absence, her partners also continued the plan of care, adding their professional expertise so that my recovery was not delayed. I was having the urgency to go to restroom way too much, the worst part was going three to four times a night. My doctor suggested pelvic floor physical therapy . That's when I first met Sabrina, she showed me how all muscles were weak. Showed me how to strengthen the plevic floor muscles.I had no idea. She did a few pressure points and that night and so on I only get up once a night! It's a friggen miracle!! Sabrina is such a great therapist, explains what is happening to the body, is gentle and effective as a therapist. She was recommended by an aquaintance who had been to her. I had a pinched nerve in my back and after only 3 weeks of therapy, I am feeling great. She makes sure that the body is in great shape before letting you be released while making sure you understand how to properly take care of yourself. This is the first place that used dry needling procedures on me. I never felt any discomfort when this procedure was used.She and her staff are delightful and thorough in treatment. I highly recommend Align Physical Therapy. Several Nurses from Northern Nevada Hopes Clinic sent me there ten years ago and I go back when ever I need therapy. Last few months I had a slipping problem on my left foot. Doctors did not know what was happening so I made an appointment with Sabrina Summers again. After my first visit I was able to get more feelings in my left foot and have not slipped yet and I am extremely happy because I had a real balance problem before seeing her. After six months of being barely able to move and unable to stand upright due to what I thought was sciatica, I was finally able to afford to go to PT. I have been a patient of Align Physical Therapy since I crashed into 4 trees on Mt Rose skiing in 2013 and did a spiral fracture of my left femur, and I had a TBI. We started working together since 2015 to correct my physical condition and strengthen my ability to walk, also aid my double vision. I am able to walk without my walker and my cane now.
