We were not sure what shoes we wanted or what would work best for us, but they were very knowledgeable about shoes for different types of foot issues ( high arches, flat feet, etc.). We tried on quite a few pairs of shoes and never once did they seem annoyed although they were very busy assisting other customers as well. We were both fitted with perfect shoes and left very happy customers.

At first glance I wasn't sure what I'd find, but after spending some time going through the racks, I found something classy and one of a kind for a great price. The store is well organized, with clothing sorted by size and color, which made browsing easy. The fitting rooms are spacious, and they also carry shoes and accessories, which I'll definitely keep in mind for future occasions. The reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5 is that the loss-prevention/customer service approach felt a little overbearing at times. Associates were very attentive, but I was asked multiple times if I needed help while browsing, and there was often someone ready to take items from my hands or move them elsewhere. After I found the dress I wanted, I overheard an employee being instructed to place it behind the register before I checked out. I understand the need for theft prevention, especially with consignment inventory, but as a paying customer it left me feeling monitored rather than welcomed. The checkout experience reinforced that feeling. When I attempted to pay with a $50 bill, the reaction made it seem as though there was concern about whether it was legitimate, so I ended up using Apple Pay instead. After checking out, I was told I could select a complimentary item from the store's dollar wall as part of their rewards program. While looking for my item, I was once again asked if I needed help by someone I was approached by several times before (I feel like if I needed that much help I would know who to find???). I read some pretty awful reviews about the customer service here, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I hustled in with my normal jovial jive. Mike kindly greeted me and led me to exactly what I thought I was looking for, Cobian sandals. While Cobian's weren't at all it for me (too tight in the middle of the foot), as I browsed Mike perfectly balanced providing support/giving me product knowledge with allowing me time to try things on slash check things out. In other words, anytime I had questions, which I had quite a few, he was there, but not in a hovery way. He informed me of other products, but really only when it was appropriate. As soon I tried my first pair on, Mike let me know where to find the nearest mirror. I knew I was leaving the store with sandals today, and Mike made that experience a breeze-no hiccups, no funny business, just excellent customer service. Macy's is closing, but you'd never know it with how dedicated she's and hard she's working. The dressing room is packed and people just leaving piles of clothes everywhere. She's running everything here. I thought she was a manger because of how on top of everything she is and how everyone else that is working was checking in with her for direction. To my surprise she's not a manager, SHE SHOULD BE. What a gem, seriously. She'd be a huge asset to ANY place she goes to after this. The sale is killer, I got a designer dress for $15! It's been such a great shopping experience and then to meet Deborah afterwards it just icing on the cake.
