The first time I met Mel, I had never tried strength training and was nervous about doing things correctly and avoiding the risk of injury (especially because I had chronic back issues). She put me at ease immediately and gave me efficient and helpful cues for movements I had never done before. Within the span of an hour, I was in love with strength training (and continue to train that way to this day)! So it's not a fully honest representation of actual customer experiences. I'd also be careful with the referral deals and "free session" offers. Those offers only apply if you agreed and paid to a certain amount of classes or committed to their annual membership. Also, their billing terms are NOT explained clearly upfront. If you look through the other negative reviews, I realized many people had similar experiences with this business..unclear agreements and unexpected charges showing up later. Based on my experience, I would not trust this business. I just hope this can help someone else. If you ever take a class here you will notice Sarai locks the door during sessions because another person who was a victim of her scamming continuously showed up to speak one on one with her however the owner never showed face to that individual. The funny thing is that they will respond to this rating saying "we have no record of you attending here" but clearly it's an anonymous review. Jasson (who's also an actor/stuntman in over 30 movies and TV shows) has worked with Hollywood A-Listers George Clooney, Halle Berry, Penelope Cruz, Tori Spelling and Paul Walker (R.I.P) to name a few. His rates are very reasonable given his status ($150 an hour) and my boss just started his signature "8 Week Red Carpet Body Program" and won't stop talking about how amazing he is. At first it was hard to believe that his average client loses 4 dress sizes in 8 weeks, but now after seeing my boss... I'm totally blown away. UPDATE: 4/18/14 OMG! My boss just bought me a session for my birthday and Jasson spent an entire hour with me asking how exactly I want to permanently change my shape, what my current eating habits are, then laying out a specific cardio/eating/training strategy to get rid of my saddlebags, etc. After that, we worked out for 75 minutes doing exercises I have never, ever seen before let alone done before, and all with tiny 2.5 pound weights, bands, balls. Holy Cow, I can't even MOVE my body today! I have never felt like this before. I hope he can start teaching classes somewhere because as a personal assistant, the $150 hour price tag is too much for me but I am thinking about getting a second job to at least see this man once a week. It took them 2 days to get back to me. When someone finally called me back, the man, I believe his name was Joe, yelled at me while a baby was screaming in the background. He tried to explain to me the contract, which was not what I had paid for or agreed to (I'm a lawyer...a contracts lawyer...his explanation was not what the contract was) He offered me store credit, but none of their packages come close to the price I had paid for the deal...He was very unprofessional, rude and I am greatly disappointed. From dealing with him on the phone I would NEVER deal with this company. Groupon refunded my purchase and I'll just have to start looking for a different company to work with. Thank you Groupon! As for Fitness Therapy Bootcamp, I don't need the hassel of a company that doesn't know how to work with someone or wants good customer feedback - I expected a challenging, harsh workout, I didn't expect to be yelled at on a phone call prior to even stepping foot in their establishment.
