Phenomenal workout. Clean, organized and engaging workout. I am so thankful i found this place. I am absolutely hooked. Core, abs, constructive movement to learn a very challenging skill like kickboxing and Muay Thai. I cannot convey how amazing Udar is for working out, developing a critical skill, cognitive development, core, cardio etc etc etc. And the owner and coaches are incredible. I've been coming to UDAR for a little over a year now, and it's been an incredible experience. The instructors are highly knowledgeable and motivating, pushing you to reach your full potential while maintaining a positive, supportive environment. The classes are dynamic, challenging, and always fun, with a great mix of techniques and fitness. I've never been someone who "looked forward" to working out, but that has completely changed since starting at UDAR -- I've truly noticed not only positive physical changes but mental ones as well. I hadn't worked out in literally 5 years. I wanted to not only get more in shape but get healthy and feel better about myself. UDAR has been a game-changer for me!! I am not the type of person that can just workout from home or a video. I really need someone helping to motivate me. UDAR and all of their instructors do just that. There is upbeat music, TV screens with the punch/kick combos so I don't have to stress my short term memory, and instructors that pump you up and coach you just the right amount throughout each class. Also, it's not really what I thought. I had no idea I'd really be doing a full body workout. The instructors keep it interesting with bag workouts, mat work, resistance bands, etc. Although the whole class is hard workout, it's also over before you know it. They really do a great job with the pace of activities. It's only been one month, but I already feel healthier. Something about working out makes me not crave sugar and instead crave water and protein. I'm looking forward to being confident in tank tops and bathing suits again. I've been trying to commit to three days a week and I love that they have several different day and time options for my ever changing work and personal schedule. UDAR is a great add-on to your current fitness routine, or, like me, UDAR could also BE your fitness routine. So grateful to have found this place right in LB! read more

UDAR kickboxing is the best. This was my first gym/group fitness since the pandemic and I feel fortunate to have found it. Working out at home doesn't work well for me. I've always enjoyed group fitness. UDAR has been a game changer for me. At 40+ years old, this is helping to keep me strong, healthy, flexible, cardio-ready and bad ass! The classes are challenging, fun, provide variety and have enabled me to learn the practice of kickboxing in a clean, welcoming environment. Awesome. So much fun here. I've only been to one class, but I had such a good time, and such a good workout. I'll admit, I was nervous before the class that I was going to either puke or break my foot, but neither happened. They have a special online that allows you to buy 3 classes for 19.99 or 5 classes for 29.99 with a free pair of gloves. Can't effn beat that with a stick, so we signed up - gotta mix up the workouts (yoga 3-4 times a week, lifting 3 times a week...toss in some cardio kick boxing to REALLY knock people out -summers coming fools!). The first class, we had to be there a little early to sign the waiver that says if you die or get heat stroke or someone kicks your butt, Cannon isn't responsible. Sure, sure whatevs. The lady teaching the body conditioning class while we waited sounded like a BEAST - she was yelling, and pull results out of the students in the class. When they were done, they filed out one at a time, dripping in sweat - and grinning. Giddiyup. The kickboxing class sets you up with a big thing you kick and punch based on what the instructor tells you to do. She holds a stop watch, so its essentially internval training - the cardio and kickboxing part to elevate your heart rate, broken up with abdominal crunches (varying) to keep you from having a stroke. You get to move at your own pace, take a break if you need to, wipe the ever pouring sweat off your face and drink some water. It would have been nice if they showed a little more technique, however, I think the purpose of the class was to get a really great workout - and they delivered. There were all sorts of different physical "types" from shredded, to not-so-shredded but trying. I don't think anyone felt uncomfortable or out of place - and I forgot real quick that I was nervous going in. I'm def stoked to try the body conditioning class, and keep this as part of my weekly workout regimen. I'm not sure of pricing after the five classes runs out, so that will most likely dictate how often I come here - but its friggin awesome. Go. I love working out at Udar. After the first day I was hooked. I had done a little kickboxing at my former gym and I liked it a lot but it wasn't offered after 2 months. I was always thinking of doing a kickboxing gym that was closer to my home (my former gym was closer to my work). The day came where I just said "I'm gonna do it". I came across Udar on my Facebook. I started at the end of July and I go 5x a week (I was only going to my former gym 2x a week). The trainers are also super fantastic! They're very motivating! I actually look forward to going. I just joined this kickboxing place & I love it! I had used groupons for a while go figure out which was the best fit, & this one won. This place isn't the cheapest I've found or even the closest, but it is a great experience! Though pricey, they let you do a trial class or the 28 day challenge & it is just an excellent workout with excellent instructors! I like that there is a similar structure to each class (warm up, bag work, cool down), but the combination of moves and exercises changes everyday. It is intense, but always allows for modifications, & instructors are always available to teach you the different moves. I also appreciate if I get lost during a combination, there is a screen with all the moves listed to refresh my memory. I love kickboxing in general & I'm glad I found a place where I can work hard & enjoy being there. read more

Awesome place, excellent workout! The people are super friendly that work there and guide you to give your best. It is a fun workout with cardio, punching, kicking and some sit-ups and push-ups in the mix to break things up. The class keeps you focused on perfecting the moves the instructor tells you and keeps the pace going so fast that I was shocked when it was over. Best hour to workout and feel like you really did something intense. I can see this working for strength and endurance training! I will be back. read more
