They are among the most compassionate and outstanding professionals I've come across in any aspect of healthcare. Prior to finding this practice I had some bad experiences with dentistry so I am extremely anxious and guarded with dentists, but truly you can not be in any better hands than Dr. Scott and his team. I need full sedation for dental work and nitrous gas for cleanings - they can make it happen. I'm comfortable the whole time. I'm not in pain and getting anxious. I'm not avoiding the dentist for years because I know it'll be a horrible experience. True professionals with a gift for what they do. He's the best and I wouldn't go to anyone else. I had issues after that and he would see me immediately- was very polite and courteous along with his staff. I continued to have issues and would repeat asking "Is there a hole left in there?" I also explained that there was la bump in the middle of the extraction. He stated each time "No everything looks great." In 12/22, I had intense sinus pain on the side where the tooth was extracted. Again, went in and was told the same thing - "no everything looks good." By mid January I was in so much pain, I was impaired pretty much to lying in bed and icing it. I was referred to a place in Clearwater/FL who assessed me and diagnosed me right away with a dental boil (the bump) which indicates trouble to begin with and an oral antral fistula (which is an opening like a hole) I was shocked that Grady being in this profession could not diagnose a simple dental boil nor the oral antral fistula for 8 months. and seeing me many times. Now, I am scheduled to have surgery to close this opening which is the cause of the severe sinus pain. It is going on nearly a year of pain. Yet again another dentist making me feel like I was crazy each time I said "I really think something is not right." With that being said, I would not recommend this office for any major dental work. I have learned now that I will never have any major work done unless there is an Oral surgeon that does the work. Always go with your gut instincts! The office staff and Grady were very personable and very courteous every time. I give them 5/5 stars for that. They would get me in right away when I called with concern. I think Grady is a great person. I just don't think he has the expertise to handle major work.

However the last time I was there Dr. D…read more came in and examined one of my back molars and told me that there was decay under the crown and that 'there would be no pain' since I'd already had a root canal there. I went to my dentist in Michigan and asked about this situation - he checked carefully for decay under that crown and could find none. X-rays and further evaluations since then have never found any decay or evidence of anything requiring further attention. That would have been an expensive and unnecessary procedure to remove the crown and repair decay that wasn't there in the first place. I won't go back to a dentist that recommends things that aren't necessary...there wasn't even a question of 'let's keep and eye on this' - which is what my dentist said - keep and eye on it...he's kept an eye on it for a year, still no issues, no decay. I was sent follow up text messages stating that Dr. D. had recommended a procedure and I should contact their office right away to get that scheduled....nope, no thanks. Will be searching for another dentist who will be honest about such things in the future. Lucky for me I'm still snowbirding so I can get a second opinion when I get back to Michigan!

I worked for Delta Dental for ten years and understand completely how in network and out of network coverage works. This company did not want to submit and take less than the customer is paying. The first bridge was aesthetically unacceptable with gaps that created food traps and caused pain in my anchor teeth. The second attempt was even worse; the bridge (although still uncemented) had no retention, and an uncemented bridge should have some level of retention. The bridge would only stay in if my head was tilted back--a clear failure in basic clinical standards. When I raised these valid concerns, Dr. Anderson was rude and condescending, mockingly telling me she "was not a magician" and making insensitive remarks about my uneven gumline--an area injured in a traumatic car accident. Rather than taking responsibility for the failed fit, she shifted the blame onto me. When I requested that the second bridge be remade properly, she chose to release me as a patient instead. I was sent away with only a temporary bridge in my mouth. While she did eventually issue a refund, being abandoned mid-treatment with a temporary, non-permanent solution left me in a stressful and precarious position. I would strongly caution anyone considering complex restorative work here. The lack of professional empathy and the inability to produce a functional bridge after two attempts is unacceptable for a "board-certified" specialist.

I had a terrible experience at another dental practice that was on my list of providers, having a crown put in and a periodontal cleaning. I complained to my insurance company and asked to have a second opinion on the crown. It just did not fit right. They sent me to Dr. Richardt and they later agreed to let me have a new crown made by the new dentist. First I went for new X-rays and a periodontal cleaning. It was like night and day compared to the other place. I saw Dr. Meadows and she thought I should have a root canal on the tooth that bothered me, and since I wanted the crown removed and replaced, it was decided that Dr. Richardt would do the root canal and Dr. Meadows would do the new crown right after. From start to finish it took a little over two hours, only because there was calcification making it difficult to get to the second root. The five stars is for everyone who works there, from the front desk, to the hygienists, to the assistants and finally, the dentists. They are all caring, they listen and best of all, I felt no pain at all. I highly recommend this dental practice.
