Looking to retrofit my house from single pane aluminum frame windows. I sent a email bid out to the standard big box companies. Emergency glass was $500 cheaper. Unfortunately, the windows that they provide are not Energy Star rated. Meaning NO rebates from PG&E or MID. Who knew companies were selling non-Energy Star windows. I guess it's kind of my fault for not asking. But that one question cost me over $500 in rebates. I don't want to check what I missed on the federal tax incentives. I manage a restaurant that has glass front doors that kept slamming shut. I was very happy with this company who fixed my problem within a week. The women who answers the phone was polite and helped me as best as possible with the problem i had. They sent me out 2 technicians within a few days to check out my doors. Hired this company to do a full retrofit window replacement in our home. The reason for two stars is they had a very competitive price. The reason it's only two stars is, you get what you pay for. Our job consisted of 16 windows and two French Doors to replace sliding doors. On the day they arrived to install the new windows - they failed to bring 4 windows! And the factory cut another window incorrectly. Worst still - they pulled out every window in the house before this was ever realized! - Yes I asked before they started "you have them all right?" Was told "yes". But I have to doubt the inventory on the truck was ever counted. How do you miss 28% and not notice? At the end of the day, we had plywood in place of the missing windows and they failed to finish up the windows that did get installed that day. The missing windows had to be ordered. (Yup - never placed the order). That took two weeks. We could not put our window coverings back up because they had not finalized the finishing touches of the windows that did get in on day one. On day one - When asked when will they be back to finish up the windows that were put in (caulking, washing, moldings), the answer was 'when the missing windows get in'. (I was expecting an answer like; 'Tomorrow' haha silly me) When we let them know our dissatisfaction the response was - 'What we gonna do? Sometimes these things happen'. It took 3.5 weeks (after another botch which was a factory problem) to get all the windows in. It took me 12+ hours to clean up after them. Dirty finger marks on vinyl frames and interior walls. Broken glass and discarded screws & nails inside and out. Washing all windows inside and out. If you want to use this company for a full home retrofit - realize that the job will require your time and effort for a polished look. And somebody didn't count correctly at some point. read more

The owner of the Glass Co. truly is available 24 hours a day; he and his son showed up at 11:30p to fix the window. They were quick, professional, and even personable. This worst company who will get you over for your money and tell yell at you for the work they messed up on. First & foremost the owner who came out to install a commercial window who supposedly has "20 years" of experience had me do a deposit before cutting the window. I was kind enough to pay in full. When the window got installed he was 4 inches off with a huge gap between the window and wall! He didn't contact me and left the job site thinking it was great work. Mind you I called him 3 times before installation to make sure he had the measurements correct. After a very disappointed phone call he said it isn't his fault & would cost me another $200 for materials & had the nerve to yell at me & tell me how to run my business. These people don't know what they are talking about! First of all they gave me an appointment to come out and measure a table top between 1-2pm they arrived at 3pm. The receptionist is so dumb she didn't know what the hell she was talking about. She would say one price and still say she wasn't sure. She hung up twice on me and wouldn't call back. My husband explained to her that the owner there already quoted us a price, then she'd say well he can't do that price. They are so unprofessional and stupid! read more

The first installer came to my home to replace the glass in a window. He noticed that one of the panes had marks between the glass and told me it needed to be replaced. We then noticed the other panel that opens stuck, and he said the glass was too thick and needed to be replaced. He was very professional, used proper safety measures in removing/replacing the glass, and offered the additional change to ensure I had the best service and product. The second installer came to my home with a seriously bad attitude. He banged on my front door, when I opened it he didn't even introduce himself, came into my home with the replacement glass and said where do I go; I introduced myself, took him upstairs and he began to grill me on why he was there, where are the marks, the window is supposed to rub against the weather pane, etc. I told him that the other installer recommended the replacement. He then proceeded to remove the glass without proper safety measures, made a big mess, didn't have window cleaner (I supplied it and I had to clean it because he left so many smudges I couldn't tell if it had marks again). He made a scratch on the glass when installing it, then proceeded to tell me that my coffee table was dusty and it had a dog hair on it. Seriously!? I would NOT recommend them due to the second installer. The first was amazing. Too bad the second guy (he never told me his name, I can understand why) spoiled the review. read more

Local, family run, business. Capable of any job large or small. Quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Their prices are too low for the work and service they provide. They recut a piece of glass for me that I broke in transport, no additional charge. Emergency glass constantly under bids everyone in town on my rentals glass repair, 3 times in the last 2 years. I asked them if they'd like to donate to a charity I work for on my last visit, and although they had never done this before they went out of their way to do so. I endeavor to run my own business in such a manner. This review does not do them justice. As for the other negative reviews, They're obviously fake, No Stephanie has ever worked for this company. Rosie must have mistaken emergency glass for another company. I have never gotten a quote that even came close to Emergency's prices from Dons, as such I would imagine Titus is mistaken as well. read more

I had a horribly sad experience with this company. We bought a house and had them install new glass in many of the windows that had been fogged or damaged. We had a horrible storm hit our home and only the glass that they had replaced began leaking from irregular areas. I called them, they came out and kept saying that it was the window and not the glass. The owner was the one who came out. He never once truly examined the instalation that his workers had done. At that point he began drilling holes from the exterior into the interior of my home, without my consent. There is a total of 8 holes. He told us that if the windows continue to leak then at least they would drain to the outside. My dad was with me and showed him the PROPER place to drill to let water out. He ignored my dad and left. We were just in disbelief. My husband and myself called the office for 48 hours trying to get someone to call us back. I finally had had enough, 8 total holes, leaking windows/glass and no one responding to help us. During this time, my dad inspected the windows and glass FULLY all by himself. He found that many of the screws were never inserted back into the correct holes which was leading to the leaking! I finally made my last phone call to them today, 5/21/19, and wouldn't allow them to say, "someone will call you back", I told them that I would wait on hold. The owner got on the phone and began telling me that I gave him consent to drill holes from the exterior to the interior, which I did not. He then laughed at me on the phone. I got really mad and he then said he would come out to my house. FINALLY! I felt as if someone was listening to me. When he arrived, I recorded everything on my phone! He first denied the holes he drilled, but then quickly decided to change his tune once he knew he was caught. He then told my dad that he gave him consent to do the holes, which he told me on the phone it was me. My dad just looked at him and said he didn't do that and he wasn't even the home owner. He truly didn't believe me that he drilled a hole from exterior to interior. I kept telling him to go inside the house and look, he wouldn't. Then he stuck a stick through the hole and tried to say it wasn't going through, I then grabbed the stick and pushed it all the way to the inside of the house. Again, all on video tape. By the end of it, my husband kicked him off our property. We were NEVER asking for new windows. We wanted someone to help us with our leaking windows, not some crazy holes that would drain the water and yet they went from exterior to interior. We have photos and a full recording of the visit. Now we are left with 8 open holes that outside air is getting in and out of :( read more

They did a great job with the unique cut of glass. The order was processed quickly, the install was quick and I found them to be very courteous. I used company before they cut glass for me and needed a tabletop done this time over the phone I was quoted $195 for 1/4 bronze glass and $80 for delivery which I told I would just pick up myself. The tech came out and measured table and had to wait 20 min for Stephanie in office just to get back to him about if I wanted to upgrade for pencil polished glass, well she never got back to him so tech left. After they called me back they tried to charge $265 for the same glass that I was quoted $195. She said Anthony made a mistake so the lowest her manager could do is $235, I was hung up on when I was going to give her a answer. She never called back or anything but thanks because I went to Dons Mobile Glass and got same exact glass for $172 read more

After my Back Sliding door broke expectantly we were panicked about what to do. I spent all morning calling different companies to get the best price. Emergency Glass co was not only the cheapest by at least a hundred dollars less but also the only one that had the size I needed in stock and could come out right away. Just a few short hours after I called they had someone out here and my glass replaced in no time. I hope I don't ever have to use them again but definitely would if the need ever comes up. read more
