A late update on this initial but needed to be done. I had another person respond to my query and promptly and courteously came over to measure my windows and sent over quote. It was annoying that he kept calling me by another name, forgot my information, or the insistence that I purchase a type of window like the other man that came before him. They do offer cheaper windows but you are ultimately the person paying so you decide the windows that come with guarantees and coverage. Andy and his son Gabriel did an amazing job replacing our 6 kitchen full size windows. We were referred by a friend who was happy with their work and we're very happy with the experience we had. First, Andy came over twice and provided sample windows and gave suggestions and went over all the details and what to expect (things I didn't think of like the house alarm and how the tint options available). I reached out to Green Tech for a quote for the windows in our house (11 including a sliding door). We already had other quotes from more well-known companies. Andy responded right away and we had a quote within the week. He gave us options and didn't push or try to sell us either. Had great customer service! When installing the windows, the team did a phenomenal job. They spent a fair amount of time for each window and ensured quality work, but was also able to complete the job in a day. GTWD was the last company I called for an estimate to replace 11 windows plus a sliding patio door. The previous estimates ranged between $25,000 and $40,000. The appointment process for the other companies was cumbersome and included contact with multiple persons before talking to the person who would provide the estimate! When I called GTWD, I spoke to the person who answered my call and the next person was the sales person, Andy. Andy came the very next morning! He provided me with product information, never tried to sway my decision but he brought window samples, the only one to show me samples, so I could make an informed decision on which windows would work best for me. The other companies told me it would be at least 6 weeks before they could begin working on building windows for me. GTWD had my windows built andb installed in approxitmatly 3 weeks. The installers were professional, courteous, respectful and went out of their way to be helpful, moving furniture, replacing it to its original location and cleaning up behind themselves. Their cost was reasonable and less than half of my lowest estimate from the other companies. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace or install new windows. We are doing a new construction project in Belmont and have interviewed and hired many contractors for architecture, general contracting, tile work, flooring, and more, and Matt from Greentech has stood out as the most professional and helpful of all of them. We have had many issues with the framing and window ordering and despite none of these being Matt's fault, Matt has been incredibly helpful and solution oriented, often times making of for the mistakes of our GC. From suggesting ways to waterproof a window that couldn't be mulled or how to fix windows that didn't open right to exterior finishing ideas for the entry door, Matt was always providing solutions to problems he didn't create. You can't ask for more than that as a home owner. In addition, Matt's crew was very professional and on time despite having to leave at 6am to get through traffic to get to our jobsite. Unlike the workers from our GC, his guys had proper, professional equipment (including safety equipment!) that gave us confidence that he was doing the job right from start to end. And last but not least, Matt's prices were very competitive. He could have charged us extra for having to come back to our jobsite two extra times because of issues that were not his fault, but he didn't. In a big project like ours, there were some contractors I dreaded talking to, people who the very thought of talking to would raise my blood pressure. We didn't really know what kind of windows we wanted but he suggested we go with windows to match our front living room window. If you're looking for new windows, look no further! Andy and his team are absolutely phenomenal. Not only are they extremely punctual, but his team runs like a well oiled machine to make sure the timeline he provides will be adhered to with little exception. Unfortunately for me, when they went to install my new sliding glass door they found the wood had rotted out thanks to bad drainage of the patio. They spent the next few hours fixing this with very little added cost to me, were very apologetic about the extra time it was taking even though it wasn't their fault, and then explained how we could fix the drainage issue! They really go above and beyond, and you won't meet a group of more genuine and skilled men. If you have pets, you really want these guys to be the ones to install your windows. They were more than happy (closer to insistent!) to help me setup a plan to insure the safety of my cats, and before beginning any work double checked to make sure I had them safely locked up and went over the plan one last time. When it came time to move the cats into a finished room to start work on the other side of the house, they stopped all loud work to help keep the cats as calm as possible during the move and even asked how they were faring throughout the day. The safety of my animals is paramount, and I'm grateful it was to them too. They were very efficient in their work, and completely cleaned up after themselves. They even went so far as to clean up the small amount of wood dust left on my lawn after repairing the rotten wood issue! Andy managed to work within my budget and got us some amazing triple pane windows; the house has never been so quiet and the A/C run so little on a 100+ degree day! He was very professional and friendly. After I accepted the quote it took a couple of weeks for the windows/slider to arrive and then Gabriel and Ray came to install them.
