Had them come to fix a cracked sump pump drain line. The line was hard plumbed correctly just cracked when they got here. They installed a shielded rubber coupler with the pipes at an angle and a unshielded coupler outside. I called to ask about it, and instead of putting me in touch with an owner or supervisor the receptionist transferred me to the technician who did the repair. He said they do that because it's easier, it's fine and they will stand behind it for 30 days. Not what i expect for over $400. I won't use them again, and I wish I could add pictures of the " repair". read more

Terrible company. I called them on a Saturday to fix a no water issue. They sent out someone who did not know what they doing. They said it was a bad switch on water pressure tank but when they replaced switch I still had no water. They then went out to well casing and said they they were being shocked at well casing. They could not give solution and tried to argue with one of us about us tampering and it causing issues. And they told us they were not for sure if they could even solve the issue altogether. They wanted to charge me 750$ to replace switch without actually getting water back on. I told them on Monday that I wanted them to replace our old switch back on pressure tank. I had different plumbing company come out and they found problem in 10 mins. It was not the switch it was a broken wire on well pump. The new other company replaced it and I had water again. Do not use Emergency Plumbing Heating and air. They have people who do not know how to diagnose correctly and will try and charge you for parts that do not need to be replaced. They want me to pay the 419$ for the visit despite the fact that they misdiagnosed and were going to charge me for a part that did not need to be replaced. Find another company do not use them!!!! read more

Obviously it's terrible when you have an emergency plumbing issue. Our issue arose the day after we had moved in so I was at the end of my rope. My experience with emergency plumbing service was amazing from the very first person I talk to you when I called to make my appointment. Before they showed up they sent me a text message with a picture of my technician, Ron. It included a little biography of him and being the woman at home by myself with my toddler that made me feel at ease. After they did the diagnosis and gave me the estimate they had to explain to me that they did not have the pieces that they needed in order to fix my situation but they left to go find them and then came back and proceeded to fix my problem. They were at my house from most six hours and they did not leave until almost 8 PM and their demeanor was kind and positive throughout the entire experience. They had to work with my home warranty company which was being difficult and they did not seem to mind. Ron and his assistant were absolutely amazing. I will definitely use this company if something else happens. And I will be sure to request Ron! read more

STAY AWAY! Called Emergency Plumbing on 31 Dec 22 for an emergency repair to a burst pipe. Charged an exorbitant amount of $504.00 to fix one burst pipe. Three days later PuroClean comes in to do the remediation work and reports the pipe is still dripping. I call emergency plumbing back now they are trying to charge me $389.00 for what I already paid $504.00 for. $389.00 for a customer satisfaction visit and to repair their own shoddy work. STAY AWAY! Add to the fact that they have never sent me a bill for the follow up work, but have sent it to collection with a threat to destroy my credit. UPDATE: Emergency Plumbing offered to let me only pay $189 for them doing nothing, or to fix their prior shoddy workmanship. They admit that their employee spent 1 hour and 2 min for the follow up. It does not take a trained plumber this long to find that there is no leak, so their employee must have been fixing the shoddy workmanship previously performed. That is on them. read more

Called them to fix a leaking drain pipe. They couldn't locate where it was leaking from. The technician recommended to contact a roofing contractor to locate the leak. Charged me $438 and left. Later same day, I found the problem, I took pictures and sent it to them, pipe had 2 inch cut, easy fix, called them back but they quoted me an additional $800 to fix it. I ended up fixing it myself for less than $10. I will never call them again for anything. read more

It appears that the problem was fixed. It would have helped to know they were charging $268 per hour ahead of time... we told them the main drain was causing a backup in the basement. Why should I pay for the tech to try two smaller snake drains before he finally brought in the larger snake drain in? It seemed like padding the bill and then trying to sell additional things... I suppose it is normal to have to clean up the mess left afterwards; which was worse then when he started. But at least it was fixed? read more

I wish I could say enough good things about Emergency Plumbing Service. The drain in our basement overflowed due to a blockage and I had them come to my house. It was the first time something like this would happen to me and I was a bit panicked and agitated. They didn't lose their cool and gave me a first class phone and in person experience. Not only did they get the basement which was about 5 inches deep in water completely drained but they also got my water heater to start working again. Called emergency plumbing services about sewer gases backed up in house and Doug came out to see what the cause was. While we were investigating that issue I pointed out other leaks we had been dealing with. Doug took the time to go over all my concerns with resolutions. When we got our estimate, we felt it was more than fair and absolutely pleased with it, but it was still a bit more than we had on hand. That's where the front office of EPS came in. They were very understanding and not pushy. When we got funds together scheduling was a breeze. ESP sent Pete and Kyle out to fix ALL my issues and they did so professionally. We had a leaking hose bib, and the water was running down into our basement. We called on a Friday to schedule an appointment (non-emergency, as it only leaked when we had the hose running) and got someone out on Monday. Tracy came in and quickly found the problem and got it fixed in a timely manner. He kept us informed on everything he was doing during the whole process. We called twice to have our sump pump replaced and both times we were told it was fine. Both times the basement flooded after we were told it was fine and it had failed. Then, a temporary drain pipe was ran out the basement window. No one came to look at it for another seven days. (we had to call and remind them) Then, they didn't do anything, barely looked at it and told me it would be another 3 days to get an estimate and from there set an appointment to fix it. Meanwhile, my back yard is flooded from the temporary drain and vermin are given free access to my basement. I will NEVER use this provider again!
