No other company has ever left a mess like that. We decided not to make a fuss and cleared it ourselves. However, less than 24 hours later, our downstairs toilet began bubbling violently while the washing machine drained, and the toilet would not flush. The blockage was clearly never fully cleared. When we called Apex expecting them to rectify the issue, we were told they would only come back out if we paid a brand-new service charge. Paying double the market rate for incomplete work is bad enough, but refusing to make it right is unacceptable. After this experience, I dug deeper on third-party sites like Yelp and the BBB and found a pattern of complaints matching ours (inflated prices, messy work, and refusal to fix issues without new fees), which makes me question how genuine their Google rating really is. My wife and I own two local businesses, including one in the home service industry, and we would never treat a customer this way. We had hoped to build a relationship with Apex and refer our own clients to them, but we cannot risk our reputation on a company that operates like this.
