I had a very disappointing experience with Tommy's Express regarding my membership and billing…read more I was paying for a monthly unlimited membership, but I was also being charged per wash. Guest Services confirmed that my account showed both a pay-as-you-go plan and an unlimited membership. I was charged multiple times, including $40.27, $22.00, $22.00, and $66.00. The setup was eventually corrected in the app, but when I asked about a credit or reimbursement, Guest Services told me they could not provide one because the location is independently owned. I also spoke with the site manager and was told they could not credit or reimburse me in any way either. From my perspective, I paid for a monthly membership, was also charged per wash, and then was told nobody could offer a refund, credit, or any type of compensation. I understand confusion and billing issues can happen, but the lack of accountability or customer courtesy was very disappointing. I also had a separate issue where I drove to the Sinking Spring location before posted closing time, with no notice in the app that they had stopped washing. That was especially frustrating because this location accommodates my dually, and I went there specifically for that reason. Because of how this was handled, I canceled my membership. I hope Tommy's Express improves how they handle billing concerns and customer service issues going forward.
