We called the builder who stated "with as much rain as we have gotten a small leak is nothing to worry about." Well that leak turned into bowls filled with water and ceiling damage. Suddenly, getting a hold of our builder was a god-awful task. Five months ago, they said they would make time to check it out, but nothing was really solved; and our cameras didn't show anyone coming to look at it. Our realtor recommended Best Roofing, and within a week our roof was fixed, flashing replaced, and they left no trace of being there (very clean/no nails within our yard) and all within a VERY reasonable price. We had quotes from larger roofing companies within Omaha that was 30x more than what we had paid Best Roofing. I will truly recommend Best Roofing to everyone I know.

With the clock running and mild desperation beginning to set in, I had the good fortune of running into a real estate sales friend from Council Bluffs last Friday who recommended Best Roofing based upon his past experience with Russ and his team on several roof replacements for friends and family members. I immediately left a message for Russ and received a reply within two hours which was rather refreshing. Saturday afternoon Russ arrived at my home and upon inspecting the roof, provided me several options from repair to replacement. I had a vague idea of what I wanted, but as we drilled down into the requirements for a new roof, Russ offered me several options that would meet my needs but reduce the overall investment required to replace the roof. I was sold. The Best Roofing team arrived at 8:00 am this past Monday morning and finished the job by early Thursday. I was impressed by the speed and diligence displayed by the roofers who me a comfort level that they knew their business and how to perform their tasks efficiently. I also appreciated the fact that they thoroughly cleaned up around the house each afternoon at dusk, prior to departing. I was so impressed, that I added several additional projects including a detailed tile repair to my master shower and outside trim caulking and painting tasks that coincided with the roof replacement. I have tried calling for a fix. But was told that they only clean them and won't assist with their poor installation. When I first had them installed, the service was much better. I was enticed by 'get it and forget it' and 'never get up on a ladder again' in 2017 after install I had in issue with a seam and they came out and calked it. I have called on this a couple of times and told that they only clean them. I did get a call back from Robert once but can't get him on the line. I have left messages.

Aabex just finished a project repairing exterior damage from a squirrel, as well replacing siding in various spots on the house. Makes me feel that he is unable to certify to Hill resistant shingles, that he did not install hail resistant shingles that we paid for.

I have icicles hanging from the gutter work over the front porch and then drip on the steps going off my front porch as the weather warms and then freeze over night and it is a sheet of ice on those steps. Come spring, I complained and they came back and looked and said they would come back. After a couple of months with no one coming back, I wrote the owner a letter expressing how disappointing dealing with them has been. They came back, made some adjustments and it improved that water wasn't overflowing from the gutters as much but obviously not completely otherwise I would not have icicles forming. For the amount my ins. company paid them 25,000, I feel they hired workers for a cheap job and pocketed the rest. Maybe if you work with the owner you would get a better job, but who knows why take a chance . There has to be better contractors out there, they couldn't be worse.. I come in and out my garage and you have to be in the dining room to notice the icicles and last winter I noticed they were worse than former winters. Today, in another area I was trying to put the downspout at the bottom back on and can't but why does it fall off from time to time and what happened to it now that I can't get it back on. I have lived in this house since 1998 and never had this trouble with the downspouts and in fact they were better gutters because the bottom was on hinges and as the guys cut my grass they could lift the downspout up out of the way. These are not on hinges. Just wanted my house back the way it was before the storm. My mistake - big mistake in who I selected. Never had used my insurance nor never had home damage before in the 30 years I;ve been with Am Family Ins. This has been a learning experience. Beware and careful who you hire.
