Tell the truth, One of the owners would rather be employed as a nature guide in Alaska than run this company. I know this because the last time he visited my home, he spent a significant amount of time discussing his adventures in Alaska and how he could get me a great deal on a hiking trip there, completely disregarding my handicap and the fact that I use a walking cane. When I initially wanted to engage him for a roofing repair, it took him about six weeks to get back to me, and eventually, an active Repair was scheduled. Unfortunately, during those six weeks, the situation worsened, leaving me with a much larger problem. When I attempted to schedule him last year, we set an appointment. Afterward, I was unable to make that appointment and tried to reschedule. He was clearly irritated that I canceled and hung up on me. Since they are now undertaking large roofing jobs in other states, they are no longer interested in helping homeowners in this area in this area. Oh well. At least my very first interaction with them was decent.

He turned the pressure up to 160 (60 is the max per professionals). The valve had to be replaced and we paid $1,000 to a master plumber to re - plumb correctly and replace the valve. The ceiling fan was wired backward. They would not return my calls or text when I asked them to come fix it. Very poor quality and customer service.

They were not the least expensive bid we had but they came recommended. However, our experience was horrendous. When we first met the contractor, we liked him a lot. We showed him the roof work and the soffit and fascia that needed to be fixed. He said no problem and that would just require a "little more wood". We received 3 quotes and they were the highest of all 3 but again they came recommended and said they could do the interior work as well. The other 2 quotes (cheaper than Arrack) included replacing/repairing the fascia/soffit and gutters. We assumed the Arrack bid did as well. When the roof was completed, the fascia/soffit and gutters were not fixed. When asked, we were told that it was not included in the bid even though we specifically talked about it. Instead, they present me with a quote to complete that work which was another $3,000. Again, my other lower bids included this work. Why would I pay over $9,700 for a roof that should have cost about $8,000. I had 2 other roofs replaced in the last year on other properties (larger than this one) that cost just over $8,000. We ended up using another contractor to do the fascia/soffit for about $1,600 and he couldn't believe how much we then ended up paying for just a roof. Then came the inside work which they started before we completed the issue with the fascia/soffit. The bulk construction seemed to go just fine. However, their finish work is a disaster. Our shower head was below the top of my head and I am only 5'9". In addition, the bull nose tile at the point where the pipe came out of the wall was V cut to accommodate the pipe and looked awful. The tile floor has a severe slope that is not needed for such a small shower and the sliding glass door is not even put on straight and opens/closes at an angle. We have been trying to work with them to get these issues fixed but it has not been nearly 5 months and we are still not finished. They came back out to raise the shower head and raised the tile on the wall. However when they did this, they used a different color grout and now I have 2 different grout colors in my "brand new shower". And the shower door is still angled. They also installed a column as a support for a wall that was removed. The finish work on this was awful as well. Drywall was crooked and angled in at the top because they didn't put the corner piece all the way to the ceiling. They came back out to fix this and it looks just as bad but not with 1x6 going floor to ceiling with butt joints instead of miter joints. The work was under par and their servicing since their "completion" is absolutely atrocious. We have tried for months to get this rectified yet we are still here waiting. They "fit" us in between other jobs if they come out at all. As a business I would expect to fully finish a job before putting newer jobs as a higher priority. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. UPDATE: We met with the contractor 2 months ago and laid out our issues with the interior completion including the different grouts used in the shower. They said they would fix and would be in touch to schedule. Well, we are 2 months later and the work has still not been completed. It has been over a month since we last even heard from them. It is becoming a bad joke at this point.

I called Rosie's out for what I thought was a simple roof leak, a damp, growing spot on my master…read morebathroom ceiling. Charlie, one of the owners, showed up personally with his crew, and I genuinely believe their thoroughness may have saved my family from carbon monoxide poisoning and fire risk. What stood out immediately is that most roofers would've stayed on the roof, looked at vent boots and shingles, found nothing obvious, and either quoted me something I didn't need or told me to call someone else. Instead, Charlie went straight into the attic first, and not just the easy-to-reach area. He crawled all the way back into a tight, hard-to-access part of the attic that I couldn't even safely get to myself. While he was back there, he discovered that our furnace flue pipe was completely disconnected, meaning carbon monoxide had been venting into our attic every time the furnace ran. We had no idea. For context, we'd had our HVAC company out just two weeks prior for a routine service visit, and they missed this entirely. A roofer caught a life-threatening HVAC issue that the HVAC professionals didn't. Charlie reconnected it on the spot. On top of that, he diagnosed the actual ceiling leak, which wasn't the roof at all. He found that the exterior dryer vent had a screened filter behind the flap that was completely clogged with lint, nothing could get through. This clogged filter was not allowing lint or heat to escape every time I ran the dryer, causing a huge fire hazard. Because no heat was escaping, hot dryer exhaust was leaking into the attic. When the AC ran, the temperature difference between the hot attic air and the cold AC ducts was causing condensation to form at the duct connection points, which was dripping onto the sheetrock and showing up as a leak on our bathroom ceiling. This filter was three stories up on the exterior of the building. His crew threw up a tall ladder, climbed up, and removed it. That alone would've been a separate service call to another company. Two serious problems, both of them potentially life-threatening, diagnosed and fixed in one visit. The price was more than fair for the amount of work and expertise involved. I was prepared to spend significantly more on a roof repair I didn't even need, and would've had to call out both an HVAC technician and someone with a three-story ladder to address what Charlie and his crew handled on the spot. They could've easily told me I needed roof work and walked away with more money. Instead Charlie and his team did the right thing, found the actual issues, and fixed them honestly. If they'd taken the typical approach and just stayed on the roof, the disconnected flue would still be venting carbon monoxide into my attic right now. I've already been recommending Rosie's to anyone and everyone I know, and I'll continue to do so.
