Moonrise Doughnuts opens at night -- hence the name -- and sells its delicious doughnuts until they sell out. On the night I visited, they only had the special of blueberry doughnuts and orange donut holes left. I can't wait to try more of their sweet treats, but these were more than enough to satisfy a craving for morning pastries at night. These were also delicious the next morning, so if you want doughnuts for the morning, cross that to-do list off your list and pick these up the night before. I will be back on a future trip to see my family in Northern Kentucky. A new tradition? I hope so!
