I called several bakeries a few weeks ago looking for custom cookies for my daughter's law school graduation. One bakery told me they couldn't make cookies because it was Mother Day's weekend, even though I was picking the cookies up the Friday before. A few other random bakery calls were not very helpful. Then I remembered Little Flour and so happy I did. The cookies were absolutely beautiful and tasted divine. They were a huge hit at the party. On top of that, the price was much more reasonable than my first choice, a well known, local bakery. Highly recommend! read more

We went to the cutest little bakery this week in Fort Mitchell, KY! The staff was very kind and didn't mind that Selah immediately ran behind the counter to observe the cupcakes. Their cookies, brownies and cupcakes were all decorated and packaged beautifully. The brownies were rich and decadent and the raspberry sandwich cookie was excellent as well (Selah immediately ate some of that as a car snack!). If you are in need of treats for an event definitely check them out or stop by for a snack on your next walk! read more

Stopped in for some goodies to take home after having lunch next door. It was near closing time so selection was limited. We opted for lemon bars, Oreo and Lemon cupcakes. The lemon bar was good but wow, very tart and sweet though I understand that's how they should taste. Just too much for me. I could only eat a few bites. The icing on the Oreo cupcake was wonderful, the cake part was kind of bland. We haven't tried the lemon cupcake yet. read more

Super cute bakery. We noticed upon entering that the door handle is made from a rolling pin and the light fixtures are whisks. The staff was very friendly, but during our visit, there were no published prices. We literally had to ask each price, which was kinda annoying. And normally we'd order what we wanted and not worry about prices, but we only had a fixed amount of cash and the prices were higher than expected. She (presumably the owner) advised that her scoop cookies were most popular so we opted for one of those and two small cupcakes coming in at just under $11. The scoop cookies were okay, but not rave-at-the-bakery delicious. More like highlight-of-the-potluck delicious. The cupcakes were also okay. I was hoping they'd pack bursts of deliciousness in their beautifully designed small container, but they did not deliver. I don't have anything against a ~ $4.00 cupcake, but these were not... even though the concepts were neat. Support small businesses. read more

I Recently purchased a birthday cake from this bakery for my grandchildren celebration . Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The original cake was dry, and the icing was gritty completely unpalatable and not up to the standards; one would expect from a professional bakery. I called the owner to express my concerns to her credit. She offered me both refund of my money and making a replacement cake. I told her a refund wasn't necessary, but I would appreciate a New cake to make things right so today when my daughter went to pick up the replacement, she was met with unexpected rudeness from the owner who came out from the back and was unprofessional in her demeanor. On top of that, the new cake was noticeably smaller about half the size of the original I have paid for... This situation was disappointing not only because of the product but because of the customer service. A business has every opportunity to turn a bad situation around with Grace, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. I won't be returning nor will I ever recommended this bakery to anyone. read more

Omg. What we got: Raspberry Sugar Cookie (my faaaavvv), cupcake (vanilla), and two cookies (one chocolate chip and the other white chocolate chip). The raspberry jam was fresh and the cookies were soft. The chip cookies were made in the shape of an ice cream scoop and were delicious - fully cooked but def on the soft and doughy side. The cupcake was very good and classic. I will definitely be back!! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a custom cake that was supposed to be turquoise with sunflowers. I scheduled pick up for the day before the party. What she tried to give me was a white cake with white roses. She didn't even write down the design I requested for a custom cake order - who does that?! No apology, just "oops!" and I was told to come back the next day to pick up a new cake. When I did, it looked like it was decorated by a child. The "sunflowers" weren't even sunflowers. They looked like open, rotten banana peels. The top tier of the cake wasn't centered on the bottom tier and the cake had collapsed and was lopsided. She had used the same cake from the day before and you could still see the white icing through the turquoise. She wasn't there when I picked up the cake and I had no choice but to pay $76 for it and take it directly to the party. It was embarrassing to serve to our guests. When I called the next day to discuss a refund she informed me that since we took the cake she wouldn't give a refund. She said that what I should've done was refuse the cake and go buy one at Kroger. Then she hung up on me and will no longer take my calls. Of course, if she had handed me this atrocious cake the day before the party - when it was supposed to be ready - I would've had time to find an alternative cake. Elizabeth should not be offering custom cakes when she's not qualified to make them. And after being in business for 4 weeks she has yet to learn anything about customer service. This was the most unprofessional transaction I have ever experienced. I simply cannot believe that anyone would run a business this way. Do yourself a favor an do not ever order a custom cake from Little Flour Bakery. read more
