What a cute find in Hyde Park! Street parking and in a very walkable area with loads of restaurants and shops. Bright colorful interior and the service was quick, friendly and very informative. This place is awesome, we went because Dublin donuts was closed but we went here and as soon as we walked in the door the staff asked us if it was our first time, we said yes and they gave us a delicious free cinnamon donut which is like their most basic donut, when we were done ordering through their line of selections kind of like Chipotle but more pick and choose what donuts you wanted, they instantly gave us a coupon for 40% off our next box. Just something to consider. Out of these, I only liked two: Creme brulee and Lemon cream. Rest were meh. The price point is average. It's not Dunkin obviously, but it's not exuberant. They sell little mini size donuts that they flavor in front of you to the flavor of your choosing. They have a tray set up with tons of different flavors that you can choose from, or you can create your own. I thought this was so cool. Coming in I thought it was a typical donut shop. However, I was surprised by the decor and concept. Also, the donuts are actually very good. They are moist, chewy and taste very well. I have been twice now and tried quite a few flavors such as Coffee Cake, Strawberry, Chocolate with Sprinkles, Strawberry French Toast, Blueberry Lemon, Butterfinger, Wildberry, Banana Split, PB&J, Boston Creme Pie, Oreo, Raspberry Lemon, Birthday Cake, S'mores, Apple Pie, Blueberry Pancake, Cinnamon Sugar, and Powdered Sugar. I've been here about a dozen times so it's time for a review. This small business owned franchise has done an excellent job through the COVID pandemic. Donuts are made fresh every morning (you can see it in the shop!) and are made to order. The workers are friendly and attentive. I suggest if you do a dozen or more that you order online so you don't have to wait/hold up the line. Can also go through the line and order any number of donuts you like. They also have fresh orange juice and hot or iced coffee. The coffee is very good. Note - if you have a nut allergy they have a warning that they use products with nuts and do not make any separate non-nut donuts in a separate place. I appreciated the note at the beginning of the line as my husband has a tree but and peanut allergy. Sadly, that means more donuts for me! What a fabulous donut shop!!! I don't know I had never heard of this before but it is so delicious! For context, I personally am not a fan of donuts in general because I feel like most are far too sweet for me. But this little shop has found the perfect balance of sweetness. All of their donuts are mini size which is a perfect portion size - especially if you want to try several flavors! What makes them so much fun and sets them apart from other donut shops is that all of their donuts have one base flavor but they have 60 different flavors in between frosting and topping options and they frost\top\decorate your donut to order right in front of you!
