I wasn't impressed with my Valentine's bouquet from this florists for a few reasons. Firstly, the bouquet that I was to receive was meant to be a surprise and despite this, someone from the florist shop called me to ask if I had received a delivery. Very tacky. As a business, I'd like to think there was more communication between the delivery driver and the staff at the shop. After, I worked out that the delivery was made to my neighbor accidentally. Secondly, the bouquet itself was lackluster. No baby's breath as filler or anything. For the premium price being paid, especially on Valentine's Day. Both I and the sender were a little disappointed. Lastly, the water in the vase is filthy! It seems as though the flowers were just pushed into the vase with twigs, dirt and everything else. I have never seen anything like this. Of course the water is meant to be changed frequently but presentation just wasn't there. With so many other florists in the area, I'd skip this one in future. read more

I placed an online order on 4/20 at 11 am for following day 4/21 9 AM pickup. That same evening the guy calls me saying he didn't have the exact color..ok no problem, I choose another and confirm I'll be there in the morning a little after 9 when they open. I show up at 9:30 am to give them some extra time and ask for it, guys exact words "shit I haven't even made those yet!" At first I thought it was a joke and chuckled. I confirmed that my order was for pickup at 9 am, the guy goes "yea that's right when we open though". Lol I was baffled! Does "open at 9 am" actually mean "NOT open for business at 9 am"?! If you're not ready to do business and you need some time to wake up and sip your coffee then don't "open" until later! I told them they shouldn't offer a 9 am pickup on the website if they can't honor it, the guy goes "yea it defaults to that" UMMM what? So change it! Lol what clowns... Anyway I get my frantically packed roses, with forgotten greeting card which I paid for (until I requested it and they finally gave it to me). Bottom line: anyone can pick some pretty flowers and wrap them. What separates a good florist from a bad one is customer service and timely service. These guys have neither. First of all, I was very impressed with the person who took my phone order - super efficient and clear and nice. Then the friend who received the bouquet (delivered as scheduled on the day I requested) said it was "spectacular" and fragrant. She sent me a photo; I thought it looked absolutely great and was surprised that it was such a large and impressive bouquet for what I had spent. read more

Beware. I ordered an FTD arrangement for my mother for Mother's Day which was filled by this florist. This arrangement was not anything close to the beautiful yellow bouquet I ordered for nearly $100. It was about half the size, and instead of yellow roses, peruvian lilies, daisies, green poms accented with lush greens, She got: 6 red roses, plain red carnations and daises squashed in a short and squat arrangement with no greens at all. I understand that substitutions must be made when ordering through FTD, but their policy clearly states that the colors will be preserved even if this means using more expensive flowers. While they may have adhered to the number of flowers in the arrangement (even if they did use cheaper substitutes) and not put in the required number of roses, no one seeing it would mistake this for the most expensive bouquet of this type which I ordered. Perhaps this florist was having an off day, or maybe they thought they could cut corners because it was a delivery ordered from out of state that wouldn't be seen by the person who placed the order. I don't know. I do know that I will not be ordering from this florist again. Edit: After finding out about my complaint, the florist contacted me and offered to pick up the arrangement and deliver another that was proper. read more

Very fresh and long lasting flowers! My sister sent me a flower arrangement from here for my birthday. The arrangement was absolutely beautiful and I was really impressed with how fresh the flowers were. I've received arrangements from other florists that looked pretty when they arrived but were wilted within a day or two. These stayed fresh for 3 weeks! read more

Being that I do not reside in New York but wanted to send my bfs mom a nice arrangement for Mother's Day, this place did not disappoint what so ever!!! Being that I had already had a bad experience ordering from a different place online today anything was to be expected at this point. Nevertheless this place did an amazing job and delivered at a decent time as well as prompt email notifications of order and delivery. Their customer service was great as well and answered all my questions and concerns. I received a gift bouquet & the flowers were fresh/beautiful. I decided that I liked them so much that I ordered from them the next day.

Very unhappy with a pink arrangement sent to a man's funeral. The online photo was lavender and peach, they sent pink lilies and roses. No lavender gladiolas, as the photo on the internet showed. Of course they blamed it on me. Order was through FTD. FTD will NEVER get my business again, Flowers.com much better! Both FTD and this florist were extremely rude and blamed it on me. Terrible way to treat customers. Beware! Bad service and terrible customer relations. If I knew how to send the photo of what was shown online and what was actually sent, you wouldn't believe it were true. read more
