Four generations of our family have used Blossom flower shop in White Plains, New York. Recently a dear friend passed away and I had called Blossom to do a floral arrangement for their funeral. We now live in Tennessee, so I was hoping that it would be magnificent. It truly was. Blossom has sent me pictures as well as my friend who attended the funeral. It was a large standing display and had a special sash saying from us. The last visit to my favorite Post Rd florist in White Plains left me feeling upset with the type of unimaginative arrangement I received- because my favorite floral designer resigned and the owner took over her spot. That, made me search elsewhere. A bit away from the downtown White Plains' bustle, is Blossom on Mamaroneck Ave with a rustic design I liked. Floral arrangements and shop layout aside, Blossom has an inviting space that shows off their work along with non-floral country-chic-ish gifts, containers and candles. Well-lit display coolers showcase several floral price ranges starting at $45, $55, etc. I could've easily picked the blue and bright yellow arrangement staring right at me as a gift, but I wanted a more subdued, antique-ish style to gift someone instead- and Kate brought her A game! Thank you! I definitely wanted a Hydrangea and went with white. She selected the softest pink 'Shimmer' roses and baby breaths (I think?) to give the end result personality and oomph. This is a very nice treasure trove tucked on this side of Mamaroneck Ave. I actually wanted to keep the arrangement for myself- but it was happily received when I gifted it. read more

I would give them 0 starts if possible. This company is a complete joke. I ordered flowers for my wife for valentine's day and added chocolates with it as well. The flower arrangement was nothing like the picture and we never recieved the chocolates. The actual flower company that made the arrangement contacted us and told us that we should not have used that delivery service and told us they were a scam. When we contacted Blossom, it took over a week of constantly trying to get ahold of them to get the situation resolved. The best they could do was a 10% return. I spent over $150. Based on positive online reviews, and having had some poor experiences with selecting flowers online, I drove over an hour to the Mamaroneck Ave shop to select something special for friends who had just bought a new home. Everything in the shop was fresh and beautiful, but what stood out for me was a simple and elegant arrangement of pink, peony-like tulips. Unembellished, half the tulips rested on one side of a low, oblong vase, and half rested on the opposite side, their stems resting in the middle, and slightly overlapping. The arrangement had a minimalist, Japanese air. I was assured that the delivery the next day would be as fresh as the one in the showcase. Fast-forward, and the tulips sent were large, red, dramatic and ordinary--at least to my mind. They were certainly not the ones I had bought and paid for. When I called, Katie explained that several people had ordered the same arrangement, that they had run out, and that a substitution had been made, not an unusual situation. We spoke a little bit, amicably, Katie said she would get back to me, which she promptly did, and when a new shipment arrived, a fresh arrangement of double peony tulips was sent to my friends, who were thrilled with their rare and unusual tulips. My friend's dad died recently and I sent a sympathy arrangement from this flower shop this week. It was sent on time, even during the pandemic. She was very happy with them and told me they were so gorgeous.. I have a pic, they are. I love the variety of flowers as well as the added roses and hydrangeas and greenery. If I could give this shop zero stars, I would. I ordered chrysanthemums for a work colleagues December birthday. The shop contacted me and said that they couldn't deliver the flowers on the date I wanted. No problem, since we were expecting inclement weather. However, when they did deliver the flower TWO days later, the soil was sopping wet and highly over watered. The next day the leaves began to die and fall off the plant. By the third day, the plant was completely dead, and there was no saving it. When my colleague contacted them about this, they emailed me and offered at $10 refund on an order that was over $70 for a dying plant. I explained the situation to Blossom and wrote via email that the correct customer service response should be a full refund and an arrangement to replace the dying flowers they provided. They proceeded to tell me that the best they could do was the $10 refund and $5 off my next purchase. The audacity of Blossom to think that after this embarrassing situation, I would ever use their service again is beyond me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. read more

I ordered flowers for my mom in Spring Valley. I have no idea what Blossom Shop they were supposed to come from but they never arrived. All day long the system, which is terrible, online, said it was in process and would be delivered by the end of the day. Then finally at 7 PM they said it had been delivered. No such thing. The customer service is terrible. The website is non-functional. They said they would call me in 8 minutes. And now, 2 hours later, nobody is there. They stole my money and they ripped me off. Great quality flowers. From the photo I received from the recipient, the arrangement arrived fresh with time left to enjoy (e.g. the peonies were open, but not fully).
