Jose designed a new backrest for the piece, cut at a slight wedge shape for lumbar support, and the result is just so much better than the original setup. The process was not fast, as he had us come back twice to make sure the foam he'd ordered felt like we wanted it to (we returned once to test the base cushion, then once more for the backrest), but I'd much rather have the project done well than quickly. I'm really glad to support a family business of craftsmen who know their trade and stand by their work.

After confirming the job they basically "went dark" with communication, with us continually calling them with no response, & we decided to cancel with them & return to Loveseat --- & couldn't be happier. Loveseat measured everything the first time we went in, just friendly with no pressure & no worries. Great communication too (why does that seem to be a dying art?!), as well as turn-around. Letsy and Mario were fantastic! We had a conversation on the phone. They came out the next day, took my cushions and re-stuffed them quickly and delivered them as promised, in less than a week, better than new, with new foam, down, wraps and so much more. They cleaned the covers and already checked in to see if they are comfortable, and if I am happy with the results. Couch is comfy and looks brand new again! There was quite a bit of communication back-and-forth and it was all seamless. I paid 200 extra to have my seats picked up and returned because they're down in the San Jose area. It was well worth that extra cost as I'm in Solano County. I got my dining room chairs beautifully refinished by Lucia's upholstery.The quality was amazing. They also quoted me a couple weeks. All other places were saying 6 weeks or so. Super happy with my chairs and Lucia's. Give them a shot!

I should have done the review then but we are going to have them do Vinyl upholstery on a 50s style "L" shaped kitchen banquette booth and remembered I had never reviewed them for my auto seats. Many auto grade fabrics to choose from and two years later still looks as new. As you can see we are happy to be using them again for our next project.
