They struggled with getting the right foam from the vendor due to ongoing supply chain issues, but kept me up to date on what was going on. I should have found another upholstery shop with more reviews. I stopped by here one morning because one of the zippers on my sofa cushion broke. I walked in and spoke with the receptionist. I asked her if they could replace the zipper and she said yes. She said she was going to call someone to give me a price since they weren't coming in till later. I explained to her that I don't need this right away, it was a Tuesday. As long as I could get it by the end of the week it would be fine. She said she would call me and give me price to replace the zipper. I thought.. Ok great!! I get a call at 3:30 pm and she said my zipper has been replaced and I can come and get it today. I told her I couldn't make it in that day since I work 45 minutes away and I asked how much is going to be (since she never called). She said $50. WHAT???? I explained that that seems really high to replace a 22" zipper. She said they had to call someone in to have it done today... Ummm but I told you I didn't need it till the end of the week. So I go to pick up my $50 zipper and I explain the her that she never called me to give me a price. I would have never paid that much to have a zipper replaced. She could care less. I paid and walked out. That was the last time I will ever step foot in that place. Just so everyone knows... My grandfather has owned an upholstery shop for over 40 years. I practically grew up at his shop. Unfortunately, it's located in southern California. When I told him about the cost of my zipper replacement he said that's not right. Next time, I'll just ship it to grandpa. read more

This is how business is done, folks! I brought my butterfly wing-back chair and all of my fabric to the shop so Dave could see what he was getting into and make sure I had enough fabric for the job. Shannon gave me a professional, written estimate. They took the chair that day and said it would be ready in two to three weeks. Just less than two weeks later, my chair was done! I just couldn't believe it!! They stuck to the original estimated price. My chair looks gorgeous! I was worried I was throwing them a curve, using three different fabrics. They did exactly as I asked. I couldn't have been more surprised! Excellent job!! They went to the trouble to make sure all of the patterns lined up perfectly. It's a brand new piece of furniture now! I should mention the shop and the work room are clean and relatively neat. No worries allowing your furniture to stay in this place. It's in good hands. I'll be using their services again very soon. But next time, I'll order fabric through them. They've got a showroom full of fabric samples to choose from.
