I hired her for a hair and makeup trial the day we went to court to get our marriage license, and it was perfect because I was able to use the trial makeup and hair for some photos. I went to her place for both the trial and the day of the wedding to do my hair and makeup. Due to covid, she was really cautious and wore a mask the entire time which made me feel really safe and relaxed. I really like her style of makeup. It doesn't feel caked on or heavy at all. She was also able to work around my mask because I requested to only do half face makeup because I wasn't planning to take my mask off during my small ceremony. She was very accommodating. We started at 5:30am in the morning, and she and her assistant Zoey both showed up on time and ready to go. They did an excellent job with making all my bridesmaids look so beautiful. I have never seen my girls and my mom look so beautiful! One of my bridesmaids has really frizzy hair, and they still were able to make her hair look like the others. I needed my hair and makeup done and Emily was available at the last minute. I contacted her on a Thursday to inquire about her Saturday availability and she responded within hours. I was a little hesitant about how everything would turn out since I never had a trial but it came out great. She does charge a rush fee (booking with less than a week's notice) and an early bird fee (I started at 530am). She also charges a $50 travel fee but if you meet her in her home studio you can save some cash. Her pricing includes lashes which is a plus.
