Imported provolone, grated pecorino romano, bracciole, pinwheel steak, sweet suppressata, kalamata olives, artichoke salad, sweet sausage, and baby back ribs. I went here today based upon a recommendation ( I live in Suffolk County) and they were RIGHT!! This place is fantastic. It makes me feel like I did 63 years ago when I lived in the Neighborhood (Union Ave.). Walking into this store brought back many old memories of shopping with my Mother and Grandmother on Grand Street. The only thing missing is sawdust on the floor. The food was fresh and they made some of the sausage while I was waiting for it. I told the owner I'll be back to shop for my Christmas Dinner !!! Best. Damn. Deli. My go to butcher for years, great quality cuts of every protein desired and accepts cards! The house made cheeses, olives, sausages & peppers are amazing. I picked up a pig skin braciole and a few pounds of sausage for my sauce. It made all the difference in the world. Such a good sausage! I gotta go back and try some of their other meats, cheeses, and maybe some of these sandwiches I'm reading about. Walking into this place is heaven for your nose. The owner/butcher (Jerry, I think?) was super helpful -- we called ahead for a large quantity of ribs, which he set aside, and then listened to our cooking plans and offered some helpful suggestions. I even learned a few new things from him about cuts of meat/porcine anatomy! They have KILLER burrata that I promptly took home and demolished with their fresh bread and some tomatoes. It's a really wonderful little place to have in your neighborhood if you love food and supporting your local businesses. read more

Neighborhood staple! Emily's combines friendly old-school flavor (including super friendly service) with some of the best important Italian goods in Williamsburg. Prices are also extremely reasonable (especially for their delicious marinated sweet and spicy peppers!) and their huge freshly made sandwiches. Echoing all the excellent reviews, this place is the real thing. They guys are super nice and helpful. The products are fresh and a lot of stuff is made in house. There is also a decent selection of imported items. I bought scamorza (a mozzarella like cow's milk cheese), homemade dry, sweet sausage, flank steak, ground sirloin (ground while I was there) and bracciola which was also made fresh while I waited. I schlepped from the LES to BK so by the time I got home was really hungry. I sampled the dry sausage and scamorza as soon as I walked in the door. My husband asked what I was doing because he heard me making "mmmmmm" sounds interspersed with "oh my god, this is so good". I really love any type of dry/cured meat and the sausage is delicious and seasoned perfectly. I hadn't had scamorza in a long time and forgot how creamy it can be if done right. Check. I followed up with the sub. I am devouring it as I write this review. The bread is soft yet chewy (in a very good way!), the meat, fresh, the peppers fragrant. I added some field greens because I had them in the fridge which gave a nice color to the sandwich and a dose of daily greens. I'm not really fooling anyone though since the sandwich is a carnivore's dream. I cannot wait to cook the meat. I've typically had bracciola as part of Sunday dinner, but it may have to be a weekday affair in my household. Vinnie told me to call ahead next time so I don't have to wait for it to be made. I stopped by the store after reading good reviews. Bought the dry sausage, fennel sausage, fresh imported burrata cheese, roasted pepper and some other Italian treats. Everything is fresh and top quality . Dry sausage is my favorite . Owner Is a nice guy. I would shop more often if I'm not watching my diet. read more

With lots of options in Brooklyn, I've always preferred Emily's sausages for grilling or Sunday sauce. Actually, their focaccia is a nice, cheap addition to the table at a meal. Nice guys behind the counter. They also gave me some great ribeyes awhile back. read more

Just to clear up the mystery..There really was an Emily that owned and started this great place. I have known this family since they moved to Graham Avenue. The sausage was always good and very traditional, but Jerry in keeping up with the demands of the new clientele that now inhabits Williamsburg/Greenpoint has really added some very good additions. My two favorites are his double stuffed pork chops and his peppers & onion sausage that is made to order. Whenever I am in town, I always find myself there ordering some of the great delicacies he creates. read more

Everything about this place is tip top. The burrata cheese is flow in from Italy every thursday, the sausage is always juicy and delicious and the chops are perfect. All those cured sausages hanging behind the counter are not to be passed up. Jerry and the whole staff are super nice and treat you the same if you're and amateur or a connoisseur. I think they intentionally blast roasted peppers and basil and such out of the vents of this place to lure passers by. It always smells fantastic. The meats are awesome. The bread is always fresh. Jerry is the man. What more can I say about this place that hasn't already been mentioned?
