    Professional friendly service…read more They really don't charge much. They definitely put their customers first. I've been a loyal customer for years and I always recommend / give out their number. After a wedding I called for a cab to take me home, my sisters young friend wanted to go home and had no one to take her, so I asked the cab operator if they can make one drop off on the way to my house. They agreed and the cab operator told me he wouldn't charge me to drop the girl off! He told the driver. I was grateful, may not seem like much but it's extremely rare that any cab companies will drop off someone without charging. Thanks Dolphin Cars!

    My company has been using Dolphin Mini Cars for a long period of time, it always seemed to be an…read moreaffordable and reliable service. However, recently they have put me through a very traumatic experience and one that they refuse to put right. I booked a cab to take me to King Cross Station, the cab turned up nearly 10 minutes late and asked me for directions, from here I directed him to Elephant & Castle and advised him to take the road to Blackfriars Bridge, from there it would be straight forward. When we got to Elephant & Castle the driver managed to lose his way and claimed he could not set up his Satnav as he would need a postcode, eventually he got the post code from his controller and proceeded to King Cross Station, arriving an hour and 10 minutes later from when he picked me up. My train had already left as I was 20 minutes late, taking me 1 hour and 20 minutes (adding an extra 10 minutes for the driver being late) for a journey that is no longer that 35 minutes TOPS! As I missed my train I would obviously need to buy another ticket to reach my destination costing me £211.50! (My other ticket was £60 pound). Obviously, this has led me to frustration and a BIG whole in my pocket for something that was totally out of my control. I took my feelings up with Dolphin Mini Cars and this has not made me feel any better! When I first called a gentlemen took down my details and said that he will get a member of management to give me a call back, however no one did. I called the next day and a member of management answered my call, she then advised that it was a new driver and they will not hold any responsibility as its down to my directions. I think this is totally unacceptable, they should be paying the whole bill or at least offer a good will gesture if in fact they don't believe it's there responsibility, but know we have been using them for a long period of time. I totally believe it is there responsibility, as it's down to them to ensure there driver have all the proper training, know what actions to take immediately if situations like the above occur, ensure the driver has all the relevant information (like the post code) and to arrive at the pick up at the time booked! If they do not offer compensation for an issue that was caused by the drivers negligence then we won't be using there service again and advice others to think twice.
