Smash burger
Tori C.

I have been looking forward to going to the iconic Emlenton Brew Haus! Ever since this Brew Haus opened, Emlenton has been popping! I love how the Brew Haus has a variety of different seating-indoors, outdoors as well as upstairs and a large bar. They even have a whole bowling alley downstairs as well as a pool table. They really do have something for everyone! All of their beers are brewed and aged in house. I decided to go with the Marzen Beer from Oktoberfest. It was crisp and very smooth with a hint of caramel and apple. We went on a Wednesday night, and it happened to be trivia night. We went with a smash burger and a grilled chicken salad. The iconic smash burger was out of this world! The one word I have for this burger is wow! It was packed with flavor and so juicy. The fries were crispy and delicious too. The grilled chicken salad was fresh and the perfect amount. The waitress was very attentive to our dietary needs and was able to put the cheese and bacon on the side. The service was warm and incredible! I highly recommend Emlenton Brew Haus and I can't wait to return!

Emlenton Brew Haus has a variety of their own made local beers. I really enjoyed their Mineral Springs Marzen Oktoberfest beer which is so refreshing and celebratory. The best beer that I have ever had. Very nice variety of food starters and Entrees plus Salads. The Smash burger was very tasty. I enjoyed the Salmon salad and the Brussel Sprouts that could be award winning. This brewery is in a cute little town of Emlenton. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. They even have pool tables and bowling for group entertainment underground in the basement area. I recommend this brewery/restaurant.

You just have to go and see for yourself, but you won't be disappointed! Brussel sprouts alone are worth the trip.

Delicious food in a adorable bar/restaurant located in a historic building in downtown Slippery…read moreRock! I think I can speak for our group of six that we had a great meal! Our server was Dustin (or Justin, we weren't sure) who was terrific (ask for him to wait on you, if you can!) I had the Italian Panini which was so yummy! Also the side dish of loaded mashed potatoes with gravy ..... They were just okay. It was quite a cold night, so 3 of us had nice hot cups of tea served in these quaint handmade mugs! And I had a glass of homemade root beer ..... ya can't go wrong! The prices are reasonable: my tea, root beer, and Italian Panini were $25. I think very moderate. Reservations are highly recommended. You can make one online for a party of up to 6. Larger groups must be reserved over the phone. Highly recommend and I would give it more than five stars if I could!

We enjoyed our Cajun chicken pasta (4.5/5) and the buffalo chicken sandwich (4.5/5). The Backpack Stash IPA was really good and this is coming from someone who doesn't drink much beer. The walls had a lot of cool historical vintage photos and antique items. There's indoor and outdoor seating. We had really good friendly service (5/5). We recommend this restaurant! Happy Yelping :)

Freaking awesome. Great place to enjoy a picnic table with the dog or inside in the air con (sans…read moredog). Easy, free parking. We are an hour away but we want everything on the menu. Loved the peach beer myself (just the one) and my spouse enjoy his 3 ipa's. Met good patrons, which always tells me about a place. Pickle pizza hit the spot! And to make it 100% id suggest adding Sriracha or ranch drizzle? It needed just one *something.* but also totally brilliant without.

We had been…read morelooking for a brewery in Erie to visit after the Erie Marathon whenever Lavery Brewing popped up on Yelp. This place is large and has both outdoor seating on the side as well as plenty of indoor seating. The inside looked like a mix of cozy and industrial, with a long wooden bar stretching the length of the room, warm pendant lights hanging overhead, colorful beer boards on the wall, and shelves lined with bottles and glassware behind the bar. It had a relaxed but lively feel to it. After looking around to figure out where we wanted to sit, we ultimately chose the bar. For lunch on this day I chose to go with the pimento smash deluxxxe while my wife went with the pesto pizza. The menu described my meal as two smash patties, bacon, American cheese, pimento cheese, and onion rings on a brioche bun while my wife's was described as parsley basil pesto, triple cheese blend, fire roasted tomatoes with a balsamic glaze. I thought that the burger here was delicious as the patties were seasoned nicely and I appreciated the onion rings. While there was plenty of cheese and it was flavorful, I almost could have used more of the pimento. Then my wife liked her pizza here especially the pesto combined with the fire roasted tomatoes. Then for drinks, as I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight here. At Lavery Brewing, a flight consists of 6 beers and I chose the Active Recovery, Seeking Clarity, Lime n Cuke, Throwing Tropical Shade, Sound Mild, and Divine Intervention for my flight. I first started with the Active Recovery which was light and hoppy and very drinkable. Up second was the Seeking Clarity which had a clean start before a heavy dose of hops in the middle which surprisingly didn't linger. Third was the Lime n Cuke which has a strong cucumber smell and the drink itself is dry like most goses with a mild lime and stronger cucumber flavor. Fourth was Throwing Tropical Shade and you could really taste the orange and other tropical flavors with a finish flavor of coconut. For me this was a really delicious beer. Up fifth was the Sound Mild which was light but you got the nice flavor of those toasted malts at the finish. Last but certainly not least was the Divine Intervention which had a strong coconut flavor on the finish. Out of the bunch my favorite ended up being the Throwing Tropical Shade. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both enjoyed the beverages and the food and we left both happy and stuffed.
