No food available for purchase except food trucks outside. Service is order at the bar. No table service. Good ambiance with live music on a Saturday. I really like that you can bring your dogs inside. It was a cold drizzly day and several patrons had their dogs inside with them. Also had a nice fire going outdoors in case you wanted to get away from the music for awhile. Looking forward to coming back with the pup!

I love any brewery that is dog friendly AND has food trucks, which Stick City offered both. We only stayed for one drink because they were busy and our pups were very curious, but I'd definitely go back and try more.

Stick City Brewing in Mars has a small tap house and large out door space with corn hole and rotating food trucks!

Love a food truck? Love beer? Have dogs? Have kids? Want to sit by a fire outside? Want to draw with chalk on the sidewalk? This place is honestly good for so many people and occasions. I love that they rotate the food trucks & was really pleased with the beer. Fun stop. I highly recommend going!

I stopped by here yesterday with my wife for some Saturday afternoon drinks. We had been wanting to visit Stick City Brewing for awhile now but had generally found ourself in Cranberry on Sunday's when they aren't open. Thankfully on this Saturday we were looking for something to do and so headed on up. The inside of the brewery feels large, probably due to it being an old firehouse with large ceilings for the trucks. It was decorated with string lights throughout with a bar and seating on one side and then a caged in area with kegs, fermenters, etc on the other. They also have an outdoor area which had a fire going in it but the subzero temperatures kept us inside. We still did partake in some of their Adirondack chairs, which I imagine they had moved inside for the winter, due to it being crowded from a birthday party. I should also mention that the inside is dog friendly and they were about 3 or 4 dogs taking advantage of that. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I tried to order a sampler here. Stick City doesn't do that though but they do offer 5 ounce pours for $2.50 each. So I went with four of them for $10, essentially making my own flight. The beers that I chose were Dry Fly I Adams (IPA), Sticks 2 (IPA), Neptune 2000 (IPA) and Cabotsquatch (brown). I started with the Dry Fly which was the lightest colored of the IPAs with a straw yellow color unlike the golden hue of the other two IPAs. It ended being pretty good with a nice clean start before a big hit of hops at the finish. Up second was the Sticks 2 which also started out clean before proceeding into the hops. It wasn't as in your face as the first IPA and the hops had an almost fruity flavor to them. The third beer that i tried was the neptune 2000. While the highest in ABV out of the bunch it was almost the least hop forward. Last but certainly not least was the Cabotsquatch. It tasted nicely and had a sweet caramel finish to it. Out of the bunch I think that I would have to pick the Sticks 2 as my favorite although all were good and interesting. The bottom line for me is that I would come back here again in the future. Stick City Brewing has quite a cool space and the beers were good too.

A pretty cool spot in Mars. Last night it was all outdoor seating, it was packed. They are dog friendly. They had nice fire pits. The variety of the beer wasn't great, it was primarily heavy beers, and they were out of quite a few things. Prices are reasonable. They had a food truck. Would definitely check it out again.

Every time we come there is a different food truck. They added a fire pit since the last time we came.

I never could understand why people eat outside in downtown places where cars drive by them 5 feet away. The beers were OK, nothing really special but OK. They have a little bar outside so getting a refill was quick and easy. The don't serve any kind of hard spirits. My wife isn't a beer drinker so one of the bartenders at the inside bar mixed her up a drink with seltzer and something else(tea) which she found to be quite tasty, so i tipped her generously for having the ambition to please a customer. Where they fell down IMO was their pizza. It just wasn't very good. We had several versions of their Sicilian to choose from. The cheese was generous, but the crust was doughy and heavy, the sauce was flavorless, and the toppings were very stingy. A big piece of Sicilian pizza with 3 slices of pepperoni is not good. I checked out their menu and was stunned at the prices they are getting for those pizzas. WAY overpriced. Of course i didn't have to pay for them since it was a party, but knowing what their pizza is like i would never go back there and pay those prices. The wings were just OK, pretty mediocre. Parking is a joke. No where near enough spots for the size of the place. Overall it was just OK, i would not return. There are better places for the same or less money.

We've been meaning to try Allusion Brewery in Allison Park, and finally made the leap...right past…read morethe Dollar Tree and Driver's License Center in the strip mall. Yes, it's a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. Allusion is a beer oasis tucked between life's greatest challenges: renewing your license and resisting discount snacks. Inside, it's clean, cozy, and no frills, which is exactly what you want when the beer is doing all the talking. And let me tell you, the beer has a lot to say. We tried the 1810 Oktoberfest and As You Wish (which made me feel like I was being serenaded by Wesley from The Princess Bride), and both were excellent. We also grabbed a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and a Reuben, each paired with a cup of clam chowder that was creamy, comforting, and possibly made with magic (or butter, which is basically the same thing). The proprietor was friendly, knowledgeable, and doing everything short of brewing the beer mid-conversation. Honestly, if he'd started juggling pint glasses, I wouldn't have been surprised. Long story short: the beers are top-notch, the food hits the spot, and the vibe is low-key awesome. Allusion has earned a spot on our regular rotation, and possibly a spot in our hearts.
