    Swim lessons with Ms. Claire
    Susan W.

My sensitive 4yr old started Emler in May with Ms. Claire. My daughter looks forward to swim lessons every week!! Ms. Claire is so loving and patient. She was able to encourage and make my daughter feel comfortable and try new thing the first day in. Ms. Claire is wonderful about challenging each child and adjusting to each child's needs. The front staff, Ms. Darcy and Ms. Kaley ( probably spelled their names wrong) do a wonderful job of making everyone feel welcome and getting to know each family individually. The lobby and deck area are clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this location to any family looking for fun, safe, swim lessons for their child!

EMLER IS THE BEST! Recently moved here and were recommended to use EMLER and we have absolutely no regrets. Our 1 and 3 year old boys started at the tail end of summer. The little guy and I started waterbabies together and he loved it from the beginning. He started with no water experience and thanks to our amazing teacher Kaylee he is now kicking and swimming 7 seconds under water! On the other hand, my 3 year old was very anxious about the water and going under. His teacher Miss Michelle has so much patience and knows exactly how to break the fear of water and gain the children's trust. My son loves swimining now and looks forward to it every week. Now He too can swim under for 7 seconds after no under water experience as well. The staff here are amazing and the setup is so cool. There is a glass wall around the pool so parents can watch without disturbing the kids during their lesson or there are also benches inside the pool area so they can be closer. The pool is kept clean and flushed completely through twice daily, as I was told, along with multiple swim diaper checks! Overall we are so incredibly happy with our experience at EMLER. We can't wait to see how far our boys will go!

I have older kids and they do homeschool lessons at Emler. They have knowledge of swimming and playing in the water but I wanted them to have better knowledge and practice strokes. The staff at Emler have been superb! Not only have my children received STELLAR lessons with their instructor Kaelene, and are getting better with each class, the director Darcy has gone above and beyond to accommodate our schedule. We are so happy with the swim school and my kids can't wait to go back every week.

We LOVE Emler and ALL the teachers! My son has been taking lessons from several of the amazing teachers here over the last 2 years. They are so kind and patient, and make sure give equal attention to each child.

Please help me?I have an autistic 3 year old who is on a 2year old level, he hates baths but loves to get in the pool and splash and kick. He is in early learning, can understand, and can follow directions. Started to say words! He needs lessons!

You should talk to staff at Emler they might be able to help. I have seen them work with parents.

So all that to say- no sense in paying $120+/mo for months and months so your child can be no more comfortable in the water than if you guys did it on your own at home. do not recommend.

They are professional, safe, and focused on feasible goals for my kid's age of familiarity and comfort in the water. The teachers were calm and encouraging and worked with the fact that sometimes my kid loved being in the water and other times didn't want to get in. They are very available for calls by phone to work with parents on makeups or questions. I didn't feel able to give a full 5 stars since there are some things the school could improve on. We often had a different instructor each week, which I admit was a bit hard for my kid feeling nervous in front of a new person (the pandemic and being isolated hasn't help with people skills meeting new teachers so I know this is exacerbated to this year). But even besides that, the different teachers often didn't know that my kid was in their class, we would walk up and they would act surprised, oh they are in my class too? I think there could be better communication between the instructors and to the instructors, and a better job encouraging the kids at the start of the lesson (e.g. give us your name at least!) Secondly the temperature of the pool at the Marriott location is inconsistent. Sometimes warm, other times cold. If this could be fixed it would be very helpful for the younger swimmers. I think these are things that could be easily improved on to make the experience even better. Overall I am happy!

I can't say enough good things about Williams. They have on-site behavioral therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Each classroom has a quiet sensory room attached for children who get over stimulated, and there's an indoor gross motor room that my son was able to able to utilize when he became too hyperactive. They have smaller class sizes, and were able to work with him one-on-one when he needed it. The teachers and other staff were all very competent and capable. We interviewed at several different schools, most of which had said that they would be willing to take him and might be able to meet his needs, but it gave me a great deal of Peace of mind KNOWING that this school would be able to with with him regardless of his behaviors. Both my children thrived at the school, where they were only surviving before. I also think it was a very valuable experience for both of them to be surrounded by this diverse population and the teacher was even able to challenge them both academically, even though they were only in preschool. They both loved going to school there, and they learned a lot! My older son was eventually diagnosed with ADHD, sensory integration disorder, and a tic disorder. He's now transitioned to public school. Well see how that goes. Williams set the bar really high.
