They have a splash pad/very shallow area for the littles, 2 different sections of deeper water, the DEEP area where they alternate diving and free swim and a whirlpool. The pool is heated which can be a little weird on hot days but was mostly fine. My parents would have loved it since they get cold easily. Our little one was allowed to go in either in her floaties or in our arms. The locker rooms were clean and large and I appreciated the family rooms that are available. I only wish we lived in Fircrest so we could get a discount to use it but we love it all the same!

Parking: there's a lot of parking though you might not get a close spot, and occasionally you have…read morea hard time finding a spot just due to schedules. Classes: I haven't had any issues signing up for classes if you register when the class opens, or dropping in for classes. It's been hit or miss based entirely on instructor (in my opinion), so if you find someone you like, try to keep going to that class. Y staff is friendly and helpful, their membership system is pretty slow so just a warning: don't go with member questions if you can help it - it can take forever. Childcare: my daughter likes the child watch, it's got great hours Monday - Thursday (mornings and evenings), then limited hours Fri/sat (mornings). In general the Y is clean and there is space for everyone, though depending on when you go you might need to modify the exact thing you're doing if people are already using your machine or weights etc. I don't usually have an issue and feel like this location is better than other similar gyms in my experience. I'm looking forward to the improvements when they're complete.

Our younger to love to come to open swim, play basketball in the gym and attend all the kid events. It's really just been the best thing about moving here. We are a very active family so we get to come here together and have a great time. Our kids are ages 15,14,8 & 7. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the best days for the little ones because they have family swim and the gym is Open Play 3-8pm these days too. The pool only goes to 4ft so it's perfect for our younger ones. Our teens just get in the jacuzzi they don't really swim but we just found out about the Eastside location so we plan to check that out today, it's bigger and you can use your membership there as well. We will probably go to the other location only once a week because it's like 15-20 mins from here. Kids 18 under are free 18+ $25/month. Great deal! I love using the adult jacuzzi and sauna as well! They also offer workout classes, personal training, this weekend is their free kids Christmas event. The Halloween one was lots of fun as well!

The highschool staff is always disapeering when you want them. There are only two rooms they can go to s they play switcharoo constantly. It smells like an old pool. Many girls under 13 have two-peices their terrible, terrible, terrible mothers give them to wear instead of watching them at FAMILY SWIM. The life guard is always staring off into space. But they have a water slide! Swimming lessons! Special rates for special ocassions! You can rent it for parties and rent a little cabana too! It has a diving board! I have been to this ppol through many important stages in my lfe : I learned to swim here, I wore my first bathign suit with abra in it here, I did my first cannonball here, I grew up here. But I think the worst hing they did for the pool was put in the chairs for the lazy parents who just watch their kids from the side.

I like the family swim so I can help her practice what I see them working on in her lessons. The water is warmer than the YMCA and the facilities are way cleaner, too. We also like the individual changing huts better than traditional locker rooms. I was thrilled when my daughter moved up a level after attending her first Jump Start Clinic. That made it worth it.
