I stopped by the salon the day before just to ask about a consultation (I didn't see her, the receptionist just told me that Tera will do the consultation), and within 30 minutes, Tera called me and left a voicemail letting me know she had an opening the next day. I really appreciated how proactive she was. During the appointment, she took the time to explain how each treatment works and how to space them out so my hair stays healthy. Freaked me out. Never in my life have I had that experience and of course stylist had a lot of excuses. I hear this salon is changing their name and doing a rebrand hmmmm makes me wonder why. Update: spoke with another stylist and was told that since the other stylist applied gloss and toner and basically kept rubbing it into my hair like shampoo it caused the matting.. never had a stylist continuously rub toner in my hair, usually they put it in and let it sit then wash out.

I was in a wedding later in the day, so I didn't have Brooke brush it out for me. It fell quite a bit on it's own before the wedding, but a quick flip of my head as Brooke instructed and it was perfect. I love the whole line of Drybar products, but she really nailed it in her selection of which ones to use on my hair. I told her that I wanted to cover my gray hairs with an all over color similar to the one I already have. She asked me if I wanted highlights and I told her I wasn't opposed to subtle highlights, but no red highlights. She said I got you! Comes back after mixing the color, applies the color, said it will be 35 minutes and then she'd be back. By that time the color of the stuff she put on my hair was already turning a red dirt color (like the red dirt in Hawaii). Didn't seem right to me, but what do I know? She left, came back 35 minutes later and washed out the color she had applied. She said "I don't want you to freak out but your hair is red". She was calm so I was calm. She said don't worry I will fix this and blamed the color manufacturer for the mistake. It was an ugly copper red... I had faith. Everyone makes mistakes I wanted to giver her the chance to fix it. 2 additional treatments later and 3 1/2 hours at the salon my hair is black with red undertones. At the time when I left, the lights had gone out above her chair so it was hard for me to see the red, the black hair had me freaked but I had already been in the chair for 3 1/2 hours! I figured my hair would lighten over time so I paid her the $87 plus tip and left. I got in my car and immediately saw the red, black hair with red undertones. I was very conflicted because I had spent so much time in the salon and didn't want to go back, she had already put so much color on my fine hair that I knew there was no way it could take any more. So I left and went home. Reaction by my family confirmed what I already knew. They said I looked like Billie Eilish, which could be fine if I wasn't over 50 years old. But I also went in only wanting to cover my gray hair, not to look like a new person. I texted Dayna and asked for my money back since I will be going to another salon to have it fixed which will cost me additional money. (Driving to my old salon which is over 2 hours away). She said she could not give me my money back but would fix it. Unfortunately I have lost faith in her fixes so I declined that offer. The reason for this review is that I did not get my money back. If I had, then I would have felt like I had been heard. Services were not performed to my satisfaction so I believe a refund is in order
