Judi is the best hairdresser out here! I am always happy with my haircut and her prices are so reasonable!

I went there for a haircut when I first moved into this area. The girl charged me $50 and gave me a very miserable cut [she rushed through and didn't do a good job]. I could not give her a good review. I heard from the owner (Becky?) afterwards, who got me back in right away (and fixed the sloppy haircut). She asked me to update my review on their website (not Yelp). She said she would send me a link but she kept forgetting to do it, and I never could get on to their website to change my review. 2 years later I was desperate to get a haircut before my daughter's funeral, and decided to give them another chance. Julie was in a hurry as it was December 23rd (and she told me she had not done anything to prepare for Christmas). I told her I wanted to take off 2 1/2 inches of length. She grabbed my hair and cut it ALL off. I had told her before she got started on the cut, I did NOT want a super short haircut -- but that's what I got stuck with. It took me 2 years to grow my hair as long as it was! I was heartbroken when I saw how she had just chopped everything off. She was obviously preoccupied she told me I was the last appointment for the day. She should have never taken me as a customer if she couldn't manage to pay attention, and do it in a professional manner. Every other time I've ever had my haircut, they take off some, and then ask you if that's "enough"--- before they take off anymore. read more

I spent almost $1,000 on roots and streaks.. she got color all over my forehead sides everywhere back of my neck.. no quality in the services or caring at all​. I had been trying to find someone who is good with blonde and it was very difficult to find. I ended up finding Natasha and she is AMAZING!!! She's not only fantastic with color but also with trims. I hate trimming my hair because they always end up taking too much off but Natasha literally just barely snipped my dead ends away. Chloe Reed at Urban Edge Salon destroyed my hair. DO NOT GO TO HER UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HAIR RUNIED!!! She hand tied two extensions together with not enough of my hair to support that much weight, I had cross hairs that were causing sores, and nearly every bead was showing. (Proof in photos below) When I asked her to fix it she treated me very poorly. It was so painful that sores were forming on my scalp (see photos). She was sarcastic and rude. It was clear she was mad she had to reinstall my extensions to fix it so she took it upon herself to my cut my hair off in the middle of the back of my head. She ruined my extensions and my hair. She stole my second set of extensions and my tape in extensions and tried to tell me I didn't have any left. She repeatedly tried to tell me I lost my length because of damage which was not true at all. Yes blondes and even myself had damage but absolutely nothing like this and before she re installed them to correct the issues she told me how she could tell that I took care of my extensions and my hair. She made sarcastic remarks like, "I can't grow hair back" after she cut it off by cutting up the middle of the back of my hair. After doing so, she made the remark that she thought I would look fantastic in an A-line cut. She is absolutely a dishonest and spiteful person. Only a sociopathic person would do something like this to another human all because she didn't do her job right the first time and was asked to correct it. While my hair will grow back and I can afford to have it fixed, what she did was awful and wrong and people deserve to know the truth as I would feel terrible if this happened to someone that couldn't afford to have it fixed. Especially after spending so much money on hair and the install. If you do go to her don't ask her to correct anything because it will make her mad and God knows what she will do to spite you. Then after she did all of that she had the nerve to try to charge me for the re install again after I paid nearly $600 for her to ruin both my hair and my extensions and steal both sets of hair I paid for. Ladies never leave your extensions at a salon because they will always upsell them. She is a crook and an awful person, in my opinion, so tread carefully if you decide to get your hair done by Chloe Reed!! The photos below are of my hair before and after she destroyed it, the two extensions hand tied together, and the sores on my head. If I could've given her zero stars I would have. Had an 11 am appointment with Natasha. I arrived early. A very nice gal helped me to a cup of coffee. Natasha greeted me around 11:10 am & said she was "almost done" with the client in her chair. She was just starting her blow dry so I thought we were good. Hmm. Flat ironing was still left. By 11:20 am I was getting impatient. All the time I can hear her share way too much about her sisters & family. At 11:30 am I finally said I had to go. I got a weak "I'm sorry" from the gal at the front desk as she looked up from her cell phone. The 5 star rating of the salon had me excited. So disappointed. read more

It was super easy to make an appointment. Upon arrival, i was offered water, coffee. They also do complimentary mimosa's! Reyanna did a speedy and great job on my hair trim & style. Also gave me suggestions on how to get moisture back into my strands without making my scalp too oily! Ill be back for sure. A good stylist can be hard to find. read more

Honestly the most traumatizing experience ive ever had at a salon, horrible customer service didnt even end up getting my hair done. Chloe (if i remembered correctly) sat me down in the chair asked me what I wanted, i told her all the details and before giving me an estimate of what it would cost she asked for my price range I just spit balled a range i thought it might cost, saying 150 or 200. Keep in mind, price wasnt an actual concern, i was aware it would cost for what i wanted but ofcourse this was my first time here and i dont know what they will ask for. But i guess i should clarify that because in the rudest way possible, she continues to tell me that hair like that costs 300, acting as if i was stupid or poor. She didn't attempt to work with what she already assumed was my budget and continued to degrade me as if i was too poor to be there. This was extremely entitled of her to say in that tone. If it wasn't for her attitude and lack of respect, i would have stayed to get my hair done, but this was extremely unprofessional. I left politely but this left me extremely upset the rest of the day and i genuinely regret not confronting how rude she was while i was there. Not to mention, im now reading Yelp reviews about the same girl (chloe) doing extremely poor dye jobs on her clients so i guess that bad attitude saved my hair. read more
