Dr. Nicolai checks on you during the warm up and will change the settings for comfort. My pain problem involves needing my neck cracked and that takes a lot of trust. Dr. Nicolai is very gentle and never forces anything. Sometimes he has to play the kid photographer and says things like "think about your right knee" just as he cracks my neck which is really helpful in relaxing for me. I've always left his office leaving better than when I arrived and happily recommend him to friends and the community at large for muso-skeletal pain management.
