The owner is awesome! This was the third place I had been with my designer shoes. I lived in Queen Anne for a long time and then moved out to Lake Stevens when we had kids, needless to say, I didn't think it would be that difficult to find someone to fix designer shoes. I was wrong. The owner was very nice and immediately told me he could do the work. He had them done before he said, 4 days later & it was better work than anything my downtown guy had ever done. I brought in two pairs of Louboutins and one pair of Alexander McQueen. He matched the red in my shoes perfectly, I asked him to resole them with a cushion so they would be more comfortable, and was able to reheel all three of them perfectly. The Alexander McQueen's are kinda tricky to reheel but he did an Awesome, Awesome Job! I will definitely be back! This place is CASH only so bring cash. read more

I've brought my favorite boots here a couple of times and always been very happy. The owner is very nice and is also honest with what can and cannot be done as I did bring him a different pair of boots that just could not be saved. I knew they were a lost cause but figured I'd ask in case he knew some sort of mythical boot magic. He does not. But he always does a very nice job with sole and heel repair! I was about to toss my Wolverine 1000 Mile boots because after about 4 years of maybe once/twice a week use, both leather soles had holes in them all the way through. Gave them one more chance, Yelped "boot repair" and settled on Emmanuel because of the positive reviews. We left my boots, and the other half's tall leather boots with broken soles with Jung. Jung promised to have both pairs back the following Saturday. I wanted full leather sole replacement, so was a bit more costly than the other half's more simple sole fix. Picking them up the next week, we were both amazed at the quality repairs and extra effort Jung put in (completely polished, smaller repairs fixed, new laces). Both pairs of boots looked brand new, and in some ways better. Jung was fantastic. I was waiting to see how this repair turned out, I'm taking another pair of boots in need of repair in next weekend for their tuneup. To reiterate, Jung was great. Owner take notice! read more

Had a small repair needed to my walking shoe. Went in expecting to have to wait several days to get it back. He took the shoe from me, went to his sewing machine and fixed it right then. No charge. Just asked for a tip. Repair was great. And it was fascinating to watch how he did it. Very nice man. Took in my Motorcycle boots had them re-soled, new heels and Emanuel put in heavy duty zipper pulls. Very happy as a good pair of boots are hard to find. My husbands 30 plus year old tall motorcycle boots desperately needed new soles. He wanted new Vibram soles. He also wanted to see if it zippers could be put in as his instep has changed over the years and boots had been difficult to pull on. The owner does a superb job at installing rubber soles on new leather sole cowboy boots. I have been wearing Justin ropers as my regular shoes for over 20 years in wet Western Washington and most Justin ropers are made with leather soles for easily removing and inserting the boot into stirrups while horseback riding. For walking a rubber sole is needed in urban environments and Emmanuel for $40 can install a very durable rubber sole that even outlasts the boot and its factory rubber heel. I first came here four years ago for my last pair of Justin boots and the Emmanuel rubber sole is still good even though the boots are ready for the trash. I just had this business install a sole on my new Justin ropers. For price and quality this the best deal in Everett. read more

This guy is amazing! I just dropped off my husband's 3rd pair of shoes to be fixed. He does amazing work. He's fixed stitching, and already completely did a new heel on another boot. Now he is totally fixing another pair of Ecco's (a new pair would cost $350!!!). He's doing a whole new sole and stitching and glue. He's awesome. Took some heels in (that actually used to be my mother's so who knows how old they are!), to repair the heel tips, as the rubber bottoms had come off. The man was very nice and said he could of course fix my shoes! He asked me to pay right then, however I didn't have any cash on me so he said I could pay when I came back to get my shoes a few days later. My college daughter had a pair of combat boots she absolutely loved but the sole split across and the heel split in two places (across and up and down) after six months of wear. They are high end, leather boots so I asked Emmanuel's if he could fix them as everything looked like new but the sole and heel. He explained to me what went wrong and how he would fix them. They were done in a timely fashion and are in better shape than when they were new. She lovwa wearing them again. We even bought her a second pair and had Emmanuel's replace the heel and put on a half sole so the problem would not happen on the new pair. He helped my husband's work dress shoes last twice as long; along with my favorite Ralph Lauren winter boots. Good, trustworthy shoe repair places are hard to find and I've taken our shoes to Emmanuel's for a number of years now; I've received only the best of service. read more

I came to Emmanuel Shoe Repair for two pairs of boots that needed some help. One pair (Timberland - leather) after three years of wear, had strangely squeaky heels and the soles at the toes were separating from the boot. The other pair (not as nice of quality as Timberland), needed completely new soles as they were split in half to the point that if it was raining, my socks would be drenched. He fixed them right up, shined the leather pair, and made them look almost like new. It is cash pay and I was surprise to pay up front. I have been trying to find a cobbler to resole my worn out boots (they were getting rocks stuck in the heels) and I stumbled upon this place while driving home one day. They replaced the soles on the heels and reattached the side of the sole that was detaching itself from the side. My boots look better than they did when they were new.
